Username change which I regret.

Hi all I've only been on 3dx a couple of weeks and have made a few good friends already despite my annoying username I chose on a whim which I wholeheartedly completely regret.

It doesn't reflect my personality and so I wanted to change it and from I can gather it can only be changed via a new character? Is this so?

 

While I appreciate you can do that it will reset my character I believe obviously not the best solution so I am just wondering is there any other solution that I am missing?

 

I am a male and the females I have met and have good conversations with do understand my username was a choice mistake and I am not bigheaded.

No, it's possible to change your name but it costs 20,000 Xgold, which you can either save day by day or buy more if you don't want to wait.

 

When you first login under your avi you have 3 options, Play, Edit and a cog type symbol.

 

Click the cog symbol and you get options to change name, gender and delete your avi there.
