Dear Diary... Final entry. Real life has kept me crazy busy this past week or so and I haven't had the opportunity to really log in and participate and I discovered I don't miss it. lol I stated in a thread before I had bought a one year sub which doesn't run out til February but I figure I will chalk it up to a loss. You have all been great and I wish you all the best this world (virtual and reality) has to offer. (Even you Jimmy) lol And I am very aware of what the response to this will be. Go for it. I won't be reading it so I won't know. lol

@Alivia ... my fingers are crossed for the next update to be clothes too. lol And I really don't even mind if it takes six months for it.

Don't worry Jimmy. I was around today.

Well I, for one, am looking very forward to the update. I have said before and I will say again I feel like ANY additions, changes, updates are a bonus.

Hey Music! Sorry hon wasn't being rude somehow I missed your post. Hi there! I am actually not suggesting world chat be gone. I am just supposing the outcome of it. After all without WC I never would have met you.

And for the love of gaaawd would someone explain to me who Simon is? What is that all about? What is the history there?

Actually no it doesn't. I have chosen to become the very thing I talk about. Honestly it's bugging someone else. Yes I am being a shit. Each individual post was actually done as an individual thought. It happened that it all melded into one basic premise. Hence the World Chat diary. One thing I have really found here as opposed to other virtual worlds. I have no 'connection' to it. The place is stunning to look at. I do enjoy the open chat on most occassions but I haven't found myself invested in it really in anyway. I really don't take things here personal. I am however shocked at some things. Like that there isn't really a code of conduct or anything. I am actually figuring out my winding mind on whether I find it a good or bad thing.

I haven't had time to log into World the last couple days. Don't worry folks I am sure episode number2 will be along soon. ** Feel free to add an episode yourself if you want. .... Oh but try to stay classy folks. please.

Oh gosh no worries here. lol I am not bothered by any of these goings ons. I am just making observations on the world. People are amazing and funny.

The first time I was here would have been about three maybe four years ago. Lasted about a month. The place IS beautiful and its graphics are the best but at that time it just wasn't a good 'fit' for me. So I moved on to other things and then recently came back. Of course I found the forums. As a user of other virtual worlds I was aware that the forums are a good way to get answers to questions. You are all really great teachers BTW. So I decided this time around the block of 3DX I would give it a real try. I would look around and explore and see what this place has. The addition of the World Editor shot this place to the top of virtual worlds although I don't build I do appreciate others creativity. I also like to chat. After all that is what a place like this boils down to for me. Chatting with other people and having a few laughs. So I jumped on in and I actively participate in World Chat. Well gaaaaaaahdayum!! There are people of every variety in that chat box! It's incredible! As active forum people you will all know I posted a few things in regards to how things work around here with respect to devs and mods and the TOS etc etc etc. I made a post specifically about an afternoon I spent chatting in World. Seems a couple someones got their feelings all bruised. Now let's be clear those someones are the most notorious trolls of World Chat so I got quite the giggle when I logged in today and found myself iggied by one ... although I always thought when you iggied someone you forgot about them you dont hide behind an iggy and continue talk shit about them knowing they can't see it... THAT is hilarious! The other person (pretty sure he is off his meds) has decided I am someone named Simon. I am not sure who Simon is or what the big deal is about him but I am supposed to be him. He says he used Pandora to discover this. As Maury Povich would tell you ... the lie detector has proven THAT is a lie. I guess what I find so funny is the big bad trolls that take great pleasure in poking and pushing other ppls buttons now sit behind an iggy and the age old .. you a man... all cuz of lil ole me making a post bout shit they spout in an open chat box. So that's episode 1 of As the World Chat Turns. Stay tuned!! (Name of this show subject to change) I am also considering My Adventures in World Chat.

LoL I have never before been in a virtual world that I really can't decide if I love it or hate it. I have until February to figure it out I suppose but I am just shaking my head the more I learn about it here.

@jynara ... very true that as well. At least with WC all the crap is confined to one spot. To be clear .... this was not a post bitching about world chat. As I said I participate in it and rather quite enjoy it. Just a wondering and a discussion topic to see what everyone else thought about it.

Okay new topic and another question. First question is how the hell do I make the poll thing work? But onto the meat of the subject. I admit I participate in World Chat. I kind of like it... but ... and its big but.... isn't it kind of just a cesspool? If it's not just full of purple ads rolling one after the other it's all the crap we see spewing from trolls and those of us (myself included) that often feed them. So to debate and discuss. What are the merits and the detriments of World Chat? What would be good about getting rid of it and what would be bad?

@Sage... to be clear I do take responsibility for myself. Have no fear of that. As I said ... these things are generally of no consequence to me. I usually find them funny (as in so incredibly over the top as to making laughing stocks of themselves) Today however crossed a line. And once seen cannot be unseen with a simple iggy. Also on the subject of iggy with this very person. The day before as he was talking in WC someone else said... why can I see him? I have him on iggy. He then implied he used a hack to 'get around iggy' which I believe turned out to be simply buying a new sub and making a new account because so many ppl had him on iggy already. The actual reason behind my post and question was... more about the fact that he said (paraphrasing) report him all you want the devs won't do anything because hes a 'big spender' and quite frankly he simply annoyed me. @Mar ... now see there. Jimmy isn't the same person? Well the damn guy (Edit.. Jimmy said) said the other day he was. For crying out loud these alts. The longer I am here the more now I see why ppl have such issue with alts. I used to use a couple myself and didn't see anything wrong with them. I am kind of figuring out now why it's a problem. ( I also don't actually believe it's about how much money you spend but as I said up there a bit... he annoyed me.) @AHT I perhaps mispoke with 'often' but I surprisingly hate the report button. Twice since I have been here I have seen a nickname with the 'N' word. I suppose I got frustrated with it because the second time I did nothing about it for over a week thinking perhaps somebody else would see it and know it's one of those cross the line words to be used. If not liking the N used in open chat or as a nickname makes me prissy. I will wear the label.

So any of you that do any chatting in World Chat will know .... JimmyJuice/Yalun/Fappo/AaronMcFappin/SheldonCooper and a host of other alts at any given time. As a rule people like this are not a bother to me. I often find them amusing. Today Aaron decided to cross a line with his rhetoric. This person is purposely and willfully misogynistic and spews bigotry on a daily basis. So SS and report right? I did. It also seems to me that nobody involved with this place ever actually sees it I feel like I report racially charged nicknames far too often. Yes ... yes I am THAT person. I usually say live and let live but we all know there are lines that you do not cross anywhere at anytime. There are plenty of groups for ppl like that. Of course Aaron McFappin laughs cuz its no big deal to him. I put out the question in World Chat ... exactly why is it that devs can't just perma ban a person that is THIS much a problem to every person they come across? Aaron informs me " They don't do such things to big spenders" "We get lil slaps on the wrist" Yes I have all the SS of this conversation. So my question is ... is this true? Devs do nothing to ppl like this because they spend a lot of money? Second part of this question is ... how much money would I need to spend here to have something done about him?

Yaaaay! Seems the powers that be are once more watching. ( I think they have been busy with the big new update that we are all going to love!) And here is post number 3.

well howdy!!! Someone finally approved post number 1. lol I had all but given up and thought ... okay be Sugar in forums and Storm in world. Then my first post got approved!! yaaaaaaay me!!!! So here I am changing my name in the forum. I did receive a reply from support about all this email name change thing. Email change in world coming soon. (ooooh part of the new update???) Name change in the forum... yeah not happening unless I do it this way. So heeeeey here I am post number 2.

Turns out here is the easiest way to change my name in Forum. I am SugarPie or I was SugarPie. I have decided to go with just one avi in world. I made alts in world in order to RP. Turns out I am not enjoying it I do however enjoy simply chatting. Sugar was the avi I was using when I first logged into forum so now I gotta do this thread count to get me here because I have decided I want to use just one person (plain old me) in both places. One thing about this world is that they certainly do make things complicated! For the record... I am very transparent. I had no idea how people see alts here or that people used them as weapons to use on other people. I thought they were just like characters that you could make if you wanted to RP a game or something. It seems from an outsiders POV that everyone actually has ulterior motives for everything they do. Also for the record ... I am not 'that' PerfectStorm. Also turns out someone used to use this name. Who knew when I picked it? lol
