I find myself torn. On the one hand I think it’s best just to leave it be and let them entertain themselves by trolling each other. That could be really interesting seeing as it is a very small cohort and they all know each other. On the other it makes me so angry when someone tries to say something meaningful or interesting and they mess it up. Like I feel I have to do something. Basically this forum gives a false impression of the game, and it is sooooo not a good one. Shouldn’t the forum be a showcase for the game with a wide representation of users’ experiences? God, i’m repeating stuff i’ve said before and we all know. Seriously though I decided to bow out a while back but I really don’t feel able to let someone else take all the crap. I suppose it’s best to try to pretend the trolls aren’t there and report them whenever they step out of line. It’d be nice to have a decent discussion about something while they are a trifle indisposed.

Sorry, Trance, I was sort of acknowledging that you were also being ironic as well as questioning psychology. I’m 5ft 10in tall so a short man would look odd next to me. Between you and me I was also taking a shot at people who might try to read something else into your post.

There's loads of different types of names, both in game and here. I thought it might be fun to ask people why they chose teh neames they did. Like some people have names that are names, some people have names that describe what they do or something about themselves. I chose my forum name because the idea of ancient greeks playing a modern sex game amuses me. Perimede was a greek witch so it also says something about me. I've often played on being an irish witch, or not, when people have teased me. My in-game name is just one I like, in the time I've been playing her she's come to reflect the real me rather well. It also reflects my irish roots in rl. I suppose a side issue is to ask people how closely their in-game, or forum, character reflects their true selves. Like the two extremes are prolly out and out roleplayers or people who play as themselves.
