The only way I know to make holes is to make the hole where you want and 'build' your wall around the hole.
Basically take the hollow circle shape and make it in the same 'plane' as your wall. Size accordingly.
Now here's the somewhat tricky part. Copy your hole and use the green shaded tool that's right in the middle of the 5, the one that looks like a square with an arrow pointing to the upper right.
Use that tool to resize your existing hole so there's some give around it. Don't size it up too much so that there's an open ring around your existing hole. This allows you to then build off of that hole and use your wall tool to then build around it.
I had to do something similar when trying to make a hole for the bottom of my sink build.
Again, that' s how I did it for my holes, but there may be others here who are more skilled at it than I am.
Good luck!

Wow. Those builds are great!
Thank you for being so generous!

I'm betting there is a licensing issue with using that asset. That's a great idea and one which would be a real game-changer here.Because 3DXChat devs still have not reimplemented vidéos in game, I am linking an asset allowing embedded browser in Unity games which will allow to watch videos (and much much more like mini games)!!!
Asset: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/55459
Basically this would allow the following:
- watch videos in streaming (as long as the video player uses HTML5 and not Flash)
- display any web page like website
- play mini games directly inside 3DX
With a bit of development to sync actions on screen, we could:
- play multiplayer games inside 3DX (even basic 3D ones thanks to WebGL)
- play YouTube or any other streaming service easily
The asset is only 75$ so I really don’t understand why this feature is still not reimplemented...
