  1. You have to understand that if it wasn't for these "hacks", a lot of people wouldn't be playing this game. In fact, it really pisses me off that our official developers don't even acknowledge or support people like Rochi who've done a hell of a lot more work on adding features requested by the community in their "hacks" than the actual developers themselves in the past few months. It's really sad if you think about. Why would they not allow these hacks when they have someone literally doing their job for them for free?
  2. I didn't say that, did I? But personally, I do think that suggestions aren't worth making, yes. Because so far we've been 30 pages into this thread, with zero reaction from developers. Probably more than 30 pages, since a lot of pages where deleted because the developers didn't like criticism.
  3. For anyone else tired of begging for these developers to do anything: https://www.patreon.com/adeptussteve Enjoy. Sorry, disregard this. For a second, I thought this was a multiplayer game. Let's keep on begging.
  4. I'll pretend I haven't lost all hope about this game for a second: Can we please give some love to the audio and sound effects in this game? For the longest time I've been wondering why our fucking noises sound like someone is inflating a tire with a pump... And why does our cum sound like someone is squeezing a soaked sponge...? I don't know about you guys, but my body doesn't make these noises during sex...
  5. If micro transactions incentivized the developers of 3DX Chat to develop faster, rest assured, we would've had micro transactions by now. I don't believe for a second that lack of financial incentive is why gizmo and Lisa are being the way they are. So no, I don't think it boils down to those two choices. First and foremost, it boils down to how many fucks the developers give to their project and their consumers. Members of this so called "toxic" community have even offered to produce content for them for free.
  6. Second Life, 1 or 2, and "Space", while they might allow adult content, they are not officially built for adult content. They're virtual social platforms. Same with IMVU. There is a reason I didn't include them in my list of alternatives to 3DX Chat. The MMO 3D sex game genre is very very small. Maybe the fact that 3DX Chat has no competition is what allows the developers to behave like this.
  7. As someone who's worked professionally with Unity and its asset store, the content you find there is usually not fit for high quality commercial product. It's great for quick prototyping and demonstrations, but there are a lot of details that make them unusable in many situations. If you care about the quality of the game you're building, you're better off avoiding the Unity asset store. There are many exceptions, of course, but that's the rule of thumb.
  8. This is why I said "Second Life and a bunch of shitty chat rooms made to sucks pennies out of your wallet.". I realize Second Life isn't based on the concept of micro-transactions. However, Second Life is also incredibly dated and unless you really know your way around the complexities of that "game", it's very difficult for someone new like myself to get into it. In contrast, 3DX Chat is simple to get into and offers amazing quality in its animations and graphics. On the other side, you have a bunch of adult games littered with micro-transactions. Let's look at some examples off the top of my head: Chathouse 3D Roulette: This one isn't even a "massively multiplayer" game as they falsely advertise. You can pair up with your friends in individual rooms last time I checked, but nothing like 3DX Chat where you can do whatever in an open area with everyone else. MNF Club: I don't even know what to say about this one...it's just...ugh. A-Chat: Last time I tried this, it was micro-transactions as far as the eye could see. And the animations seem like something out of the 90s. RLC: Same as above, pretty much. So yes. 3DX Chat is the only game in this genre which fits the following criteria that myself and a lot of people I know look for in an adult game: Massive Multiplayer, for realsiesHigh quality animations/graphicsNo micro-transactionsFull avatar customizationMultiple avatars per userFocus on sex and adult content
  9. The fact that you're correct is what bothers me the most. A lot of people, including myself, are putting our wallets where are mouths are. What bothers me is that if this trend continues and 3DX simply fades due to people unsubscribing because of slow development and poor management, the only adult game with high quality graphics, animations, and lack of nickle-and-dime microtransactions simply dies with it, and the genre goes back to Second Life (lol) and a bunch of shitty chat rooms made to sucks pennies out of your wallet. This is what bothers me the most. This is why I'm still posting here rather than just fucking off with my money. The developers of this have such an amazing thing on their hand, and yet they're just destroying it out of their own ignorance.
  10. This pretty much sums up my entire stance. Very nicely put.
  11. I'd be completely fine if this was gizmo's little pet project. It's an amazing pet project. Fantastic portfolio. But you know what? I'm not paying money for someone else's pet project. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It's sad that others are. I think there is only a month left of my subscription...
  12. It's true. The new beach does look great. But so does the new shirt I bought. Is my gorgeous new shirt of any value to you? It is absolutely ridiculous how we keep getting content that we never asked for, and yet our requests for all the features we've been asking for for years now are just completely ignored. FFF animations? More poses? More outfits? Modding support? Chat improvements? Better body customization? Edit: Tattoos? More make-up options? All the features currently supported by the unofficial game "mods" that are clearly possible? Nah... Let's have VR support and a new beach. Clearly the focus of the game is to enjoy the beautifully rendered scenery while our avatars are fucking, not the actual fucking (literally) avatars or what they're doing.
  13. Oh look, we're getting exactly the feature/content we've been asking for at some vague point in the future: http://3dxforum.com/index.php?/topic/3-upcoming-content/?p=223145 Another beach! Or another version of the same beach! Literally the one thing people have been asking for the whole time since forever! It's time to get hyped up, everybody! This is fucking ridiculous. This game's development team genuinely makes me sad for how much of a wasted potential this game is because of their incompetence.
  14. Not trying to be the devil's advocate here, but you clearly care a lot based on your reaction. Just saying...
  15. 3DXChat 3 Beta: Added 2 new animations (MF/FF) involving fidget spinnersFidget spinner clothing itemFidget spinner room itemVR support for fidget spinnersAbility to cuddle a turtle in private rooms (Known Issue: It crashes the game if used.)
  16. It's amazing to me how people are actually posting serious suggestions in this thread, as if they are ever gonna look at these posts and go "Oh! That's an interesting idea! Let's see if our system supports this. Hey ____, can we do this thing with our animation tech? Yah? Awesome!" Here's a development suggestion: Actual development, maybe? Anything? I doubt the legal issues surrounding pretend-rape is the first thing that's stopping these passionate, ambitious developers.

    2.0 Shutdown

They'll probably mention that 2.5 is out of "beta" in a few months without adding/changing anything and just force everyone to switch to it, after which we'll wait for another 6 months for a couple of new animations and a pair shoes or something. It's comical.
  18. Fair enough. You make it sound like that's a bad thing. Is it so wrong to have a healthy philosophical discussion in the official forums of a sex game? I could go back to bitching about the lack of development and communication if it makes you happier.
  19. So you're saying we can't prove or disprove simulation theory (which I agree with)... But you're also saying that it is unthinkable for technology to be able to stimulate your senses exactly as they're stimulated in reality, including the warm and fuzzy feelings you get the morning after a night of passionate sex? Those seem contradictory to me. I'm not talking about replicating the visual sense or the sense of touch. I'm talking about complete and exact replication of brain signals. I have no doubt that simply replicating the senses would never even compare to the emotional, primal, and intimate aspects that come with real sex. There is no question in that for me. But what you're saying implies that our experiences in reality transcend matter and energy, such that if we had absolute control over matter and energy, we would be unable to replicate our experiences. If you believe that, that's completely fine. As with simulation theory, no one can prove or disprove that...yet.
  20. That philosophical idea is much older than The Matrix. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brain_in_a_vat https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil_demon If the sensation you get when you play with your clit and vagina is purely constructed by your brain, telling you "This is amazing!"... And if we could reconstruct that exact same sensation through technology, fooling your brain into telling you "This is amazing!"... Then is there really a difference between the simulation and reality?
  21. If you believe that emotions, sensations, and feelings are nothing more than specific patterns of electric impulses in your brain and body, the argument of "Real sex will always be better" doesn't hold much ground. Assuming we master our own brain at some point in future such that we can simulate the exact sensation of somebody licking that spot of your body that you really like, can you still say real sex feels better? The only reason that right now you think real sex is better is because the specific neurons that get excited during real sex simply don't respond the same way to virtual sex. But what if they did...? And of course virtual sex doesn't have the level of emotional connection and intimacy that real sex has. But what is emotional connection and intimacy? Is it something beyond electric impulses in your brain that simply cannot be reproduced? In fact, I'd propose that given the assumptions above, it is almost guaranteed that the pleasure simulated through virtual sex can be orders of magnitude more enjoyable than real sex in far enough future (assuming we don't nuke ourselves before then), leaving real sex purely for the purpose of procreation. Assuming we haven't perfected cloning technology by then... Then again, maybe you believe in simulation theory. In which case, what is real sex than just a simulation...inside another simulation...inside another simulation...? Just a thought... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  22. Not all active members pay $20 per month. A lot of people buy long term subscription to save money. But even if they earn $35,000 a month, it doesn't justify waiting 4 months for a couple of poses and a handful of new outfits. Oh. And VR support I guess. Wooo. VR support. Yaaaay.
  23. What a wasted potential indeed. I've been paying for this game's subscription for so long despite not even playing it purely because I wanted to support the developers. I wanted a good adult XXX game that's not either absolute garbage or littered with bullshit sketchy money tactics and micro-transactions. I wanted these guys to succeed so bad. It's really fucking sad. Oh well.
  24. I don't understand why people are bothering posting about the lack of communication. Any thread with open criticism towards these developers has 3 possible endings: 1. The thread gets either completely or partially deleted as if nothing happened. 2. The thread gets locked with some generic response like "Hey, don't use mods! :D" 3. The thread gets completely ignored until it dies. It's very clear the developers do not care about this game or its community and they're simply letting it generate revenue from new subscribers. So why should any of us waste time providing feedback? Personally, I'm done. Unless something drastic happens, which I doubt it will, I'm just gonna ride out my subscription till it ends in a couple of months. Time to put our money where our mouths are, since that's all the developers see, I guess.
