I don't know if your being deliberately dense, or still do not understand. The thread is self explanitory. This isn't about creating meshes. This is about having the UV maps. I'd have thought the UV maps Cobra provided made that clear. 

As for 'going and making new textured clothing from existing mesh's' that is exactly what I have been advocating to do if you'd have actually understood the thread..

So yes, it can be done. And the smart Pro's even color code their Mesh's to make it easier to figure out what goes where visually.
