  1. Okay! I actually found what was sort of the key to make it doable. It was from what Jessica said that there is a key to reset the point of view. It is space bar yeah. That key isn't mentioned anywhere that I saw. It isn't in the instructions unless I missed it. If there is ever a VR section thought it should be at the top in HUGE letters! Being able to do that when I need to (which is pretty much all the time) makes it so that it's pretty much fine. Text chat is ofc still the hard part but I would expect that. I feel like there is lots to improve still but at least with being able to reset the point of view at least it is usable now.
  2. Ok ty, this has basically been my experience, and then some. So at least it isn't just me. It runs ok as far as turning down effects and things that part is fine, but the controls are pretty much impossible to do anything with. Only 1 single button does anything even on a regular controller and that button basically works like a mouse click. Sometimes that doesn't even work and it clicks behind the menus and won't click on the menu at all. In addition to all the things you said, for me all menus that scroll, the chat too, constantly scroll up to the top so its impossible to pick anything or even use the chat. Using your head as a pointer totally doesn't work out either because if i turn my head to pick something say on the top left of the menu, then the whole menu recenters to where I clicked making me have to keep moving around and chasing the menu all around me. The guide you mentioned was the one I followed to get it working in the first place, yeah.
  3. Hi, I have a Vive and I really wanted to try the game out with it. I read the guide someone else posted here and so was able to get it to at least play, but... Even though I can get into game with it, it's so quirky that I really can't play at all. I was wondering if anyone else here uses a Vive to play and if so how does it work for you? Maybe there is something I can do to get it working better.
  4. Hi, So I got a Vive recently and followed your steps. It's been almost a year since this post I know but it was all I found so far and I had some questions. It didn't seem to work quite right and I thought maybe you were still around or someone else might know. It does actually work like it will run the game on the Vive but there are some weird things that make it very hard to use. First the interface always goes at really weird angles and can end up anywhere on the screen. If the chat window is open it's big and right in the middle of the screen so I can't really see anything else when it is up. Sometimes the interface is up above me and sometimes I have to look almost down at the floor to see it. Also whenever I put the dot over anything that scrolls it always scrolls up to the very top and gets stuck there. So for example I can't really use the chat box at all because it scrolls all the way up to the first message and it won't let me ever scroll back down. It does the same thing with any menu that scrolls. For using the mouse, for me I just get a dot at the center of the screen that I can point at stuff with, and then I can use the mouse button to click that dot. That's the only thing the mouse really does for me. Is that normal?
