  1. That's too bad. Is there any hope that this will ever get fixed? 3DXChat certainly isn't an action game so it is less of an issue, but every other 3D game under the sun, whether action or not, allows control customization.
  2. I have read most but not all of this thread so not sure if this has been requested before... It would be great if we can switch which of one of our Virtual Partners we currently control after adding one or more to Home1/2. This way we can get each one into a specific dance move, pose or state of clothing to see how they work together. For instance, after adding a Virtual Partner, there is a popup menu for each in the top-left that has the options "Profile" and "Send Gift". A third option here could be "Take Control".
  3. Is there a way to change key bindings? And specifically, is there a way to invert the Y axis? Every other game in existence allows the user to change these settings. I can probably live with the key bindings although they are annoying, but the inability to change the Y axis is a major problem for me. Since all other games allow this to be changed, it's obviously something that many players need. Am I just missing the setting? Maybe in a config file somewhere? I looked but didn't see any config file. I also looked in the registry but none of the 3DX entries were related to key bindings. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
  4. From what I read so far about the SDK, it sounds like it will mainly focus on user created content. What I'd like to do is have an SDK that allows improvements to how the camera can be controlled. I find there are some annoyances in how the camera works, and there are a few improvements I can think of. I have done some casual game engine programming in C# before, so being able to make improvements to how the camera is controlled would be great I think. Any word on when the SDK might become available?
  5. Sorry for posting here, but for some reason I can't start a new thread in "Development & Suggestions". I think this should be a simple fix, as this functionality is already in another part of the game. Basically, what I would like is to be able to adjust the camera's "height" just like we can in the Character Editor screen with the middle mouse button. In the Character Editor screen, the camera's focal point can be slid up/down with the middle mouse button. But once in the game, it seems we lose this control. I'm well aware of the F5 button, and while this allows the camera to be moved anywhere, it no longer follows the character. So ideally, I'd like to focus the camera lower, instead of on the neck/head area. So if I zoom closer then, the camera moves towards the chosen part of the body instead of the neck/head, even while the character is walking, etc. Or am I maybe just missing a way to configure this?
  6. Hi, I'm trying the v2 beta and playing with the graphics options. Some options make a big difference in framerate and others are more subtle, so I would like to see the framerate in realtime as I enable/disable each option. In general I get a very smooth framerate, but some of those options cause a visible drop. I'm running at 3840 x 2160 (UHD aka 4K) on a 40" monitor. Thanks in advance!
  7. Sorry I'm new to 3DXChat so I don't know if this has been suggested before. I did a search in these forums but didn't find anything so far... I'm thinking about a "photo shoot" type feature where we can specify exactly how the pose should be. Not necessarily sex positions, instead think of a nude photo shoot (of course we would be able to hide/show any piece of clothing at any point). The way to do this would be to control the exact position of each joint. For instance if we look here, we can see there aren't that many joints that we would need to control. Especially since we would not care about the fingers, toes etc. So even if it ends up being something like 50 sliders for the joints that we are interested in, we would then be able to create any static pose we can imagine. I realize there are some technical challenges like how do you orient the character properly relative to the floor/couch/chair etc, but the #DXChat devs have solved much more difficult problems in the past. So the way this works is you put your character into this "photo shoot" mode, and then you get the sliders. You then pose your character and take snapshots if you want. Real models do this for a lot of money, so why not be able to create a whole photo shoot of our own characters in 3DXChat? It would be good to be able to save a pose and recall it at a later time (not the static image, but the actual slider positions themselves), or share it with others. Maybe even create a whole series of poses and cycle through them like a storyboard? One of the reasons I think this would be great is that I can never find the exact static pose I'm interested in since I have to pick from a small list of available poses. This would make the possible poses be almost limitless. We have the technology, it's just the missing interface that is still preventing us from doing it
  8. Hi, According to this post, a tutorial should start the first time I run the game. However there was no tutorial that started. It also says that at any time the tutorial can be started by going to Menu->Reset Tutorial. However there is no "Reset Tutorial" option in my menu. So how do I start the tutorial? Another unrelated question... I run the game at 3840 x 2160, and all menus/buttons etc are quite small and hard to read. If I change to a lower resolution, the menus etc become larger (e.g. at 1920 x 1080 but still fullscreen, the menus will be double in size than what they are at 3840 x 2160). So the menus do not stay proportionally in size with the screen. Is there a way to make the menus/buttons larger? Thanks in advance for any help!
  9. I did the cc purchase and it showed up just as gizmo said it would. Excellent, thanks everyone!
  10. Thanks everyone for the helpful info. Much appreciated!
  11. Thanks everyone for the quick replies, some very helpful info there. However I'm still not 100% sure exactly what will show up on the cc bill. I know it goes through BMT Micro, however does it say something along the lines of "BMT Micro 3DXChat subscription..." or just "BMT Micro <and some generic text>"? This part is important to me so I need to be very sure here since when I look at the BMT Micro payment site, it clearly shows the item being paid for is "3DXChat Membership (12 Months)". That part should not show up on the bill It could be great if someone can give a quote of what they see on their bill. Thanks again in advance!
  12. Hi, I have not purchased a subscription yet but need some pre-sales info first. I sent 2 messages to support using their email feature but have not received any reply from them in about 5 days now. We have shared family accounts so any payment for a subscription needs to be discreet. If it can't be then it is a deal breaker for me. So I have the following questions: If I do pay with a cc, exactly how does the charge show up on the bill? If it is generic enough, then I can just say it was for some other software that no-one would care about and it would be no problem. But if it shows 3DXChat in the charge, then that won't work for me. Can I pay with a Vanilla Visa card? Has anyone used this successfully? What exactly is a "prepaid game time card" as shown here? Specifically what type of prepaid cards are accepted on the above page? Is there any disadvantage in using this deal instead of just the 3DXChat subscription by itself? Anyone done that, and is it worth it?At this point I'm willing to send an envelope with cash if that was an option! Maybe that should be an option for those of us that really really need to be discreet Any info appreciated, thanks in advance!
