This one always speaks to me when I’m down. The perfect analogy of slipping into the darkness and desperation to escape it.

The anguish of post heroin abuse captured sublimely by David Bowie.

“Strung out in Heavens high, hitting an all time low”

Last night I dreamt your face. The skin was falling off. The flesh was turning grey.

Last I had a dream. Your eyes were lit by fire. The way you tried to smile. The way you couldn't smile.

My introduction into the dark side of music, this version more darker than the original and utterly sublime.

Not darkness, but utter selfhatred and nihilism. Nothing beats Swans in these topics.

I mean nothing to myself, I'm nothing, I'm nobody.

I don't move, I don't think for myself. I don't move, I'm stuck in myself.

I'm nothing, I'm nobody.

I hate my body, I'm stuck in myself. I don't need my body, I'm stuck in myself
I don't need my body, I don't need myself. I mean nothing to myself.

I'm nothing, I'm nobody.

Glory! Glory! Glorious!
