But like it's been mentioned a couple times above, it would be nice to have the option of watching something esle on the TVs. Maybe YouTube, maybe a music veideo sream or two. Stuff like that. So long as it's synched to all in the room and not playing different timecodes for different people. Sitting aorund watching TV is kinda a pasttime, and one that the game needs to up the immersion a bit, since right now sex and dancing is about all there is to do. Way i see plusses for that would be: - Players could have fun making porn videos that other users might see on porn TV - Naughty Machinima by getting a lot free commercial and awareness for their site by users viewing the videos. - You get to have a functional use for the TV again rather than it being just a prop now - Would also make it possible to use this for a naughty Cinema location for instance later too. That said might be other possibilities for places that have video hosting who be willing to work together on something like that, just mentioned NM mainly because it focuses mainly on promoting animated and cartoon like porn, where other sites like pornhub rely real graphic porn but also charge money for memberships so a lot more commercial in that way than Naughty Machinima. EDIT: Right now i don't really get why we have TV still if it's only purpose is to be a decoration that puzzle people as to why there no interactions with it. Streaming video to a preset "TV" should not be that hard, its just a HTML5 window. Then anyone could watch whatever they wanted in-game.They do it with audio.. I owned land that I purchased through an auction which was 25$ monthly tier. You also have to account for prims which you need to build. I can rent that size with a decent amt of prims for a little less than 10 per month. I flipped my land because I'm never on. You are right about vertical builds. I built a skybox then had a nice ground location to entertain on. Rob SL isn't dying. They are enhancing. They update often and have moved to Bento which allows for more realistic Avis not to mention Sansar to be released later this year. However, it will likely cost more than SL. SL does have its problems. Lag in highly populated areas. Lag in well designed areas. I find myself bored there as well after a time but I do prefer their poses. They are pretty secretive about Sansar. I think the point ppl make is that it is possible for 3DX to do more and be better but as I've learned it will only ever be a sex game. It will only cater to those that come for a suck and fuck. If you want a more enriching experience you'll have to look elsewhere. I will say this relying solely on graphics even in a sex game will only get you so far. Personally after upgrading I prefer the look of my inactive SL avi. I consider 'decent size' at least movie theater size..although I would settle for the TV size in 3DX. My place in SL was 256x512 all totaled..costs about US$60 a month. Had a huge showroom of P3 clothes and items. Night club was on roof with rotating spotlights I made. You can not only build vertically you can also tunnel downward, at least you could last time I was there. I pretty much left after they fucked the place and took out all the gambling places.. I used to make heaps on Roulette and Poker. Was changed and now its just this 'Slingo' crap.I heard they had to get rid of the gambling because crims were using it for money laundering.
