For those interested in the DOOM ROOM, I shall be opening a public gathering room at 18:00 CST. The first 12 people to show up shall be added to group, and thus gain access to the actual DOOM ROOM. Once the game starts nobody will be allowed to join. Players will have 120 minutes to solve the room, with no help or hints. Hope to see you all there!

Well, it was a close, but I'm happy to announce that our latest team defeated the DOOM ROOM with 21 minutes to spare!

Congratulations to the players who stuck it out and figured out the code. They include:

BroadswordLily, Carus, Ganymede, Clearity, silverbackalphabull, Dystopia, DragonLady, Flake and OpheliaX!

And special congratulations to DragonLady, who was the one to finally crack the code!

SPOILER ALERT!

THE SOLUTION TO THE DOOM ROOM IS LISTED BELOW!

The first digit in the six digit code is equal to T + A. T is found by looking at the north wall. The big letter T there, when folded into a cube, corresponds to cube number 1. Therefore T = 1. A is found by looking at the colored square pattern chart on the west wall. The first shape depicted can be found in the pattern marked 4. The second shape can be found in the pattern marked 2. Therefore A = 4+2, which is 6. Since T equals 1, and A equals 6, and 1 + 6 = 7, the first digit in the six digit code is 7.

The second digit in the six digit code is equal to square plus triangle. By looking at the shape chart on the east wall you can logically deduce that squares equal 3, and triangles equal 4. Therefore the second digit is also 7.

The third digit in the six digit code corresponds to "Time and Space". On the north wall is a riddle including that phrase. The answer to the riddle is the letter E. On the west wall it says E=9. Therefore the third digit is 9.

The fourth digit of the six digit code is the sum of all the triangles on all four walls. The north wall features one triangle. The south wall also features one triangle (its part of hint #2). And the east wall features four triangles. That makes six triangles in all, so the fourth digit is six.

The fifth digit of the six digit code is equal to "Mistake" take away "Ark". "Mistake" refers to the phrase "Can you find the the mistake?" on the east wall. Since the phrase itself contains an error (the word "the" is repeated), and since there is a star pointing at the phrase, "Mistake" = Star. Looking at the shape chart on the east wall it can be deduced that star = 5. Therefore Mistake = 5. The word "Ark" corresponds to the top riddle on the north wall. Since it was Noah who took the animals on board the ark in the biblical story, and not Moses, the answer is zero. Therefore "Ark" = 0. Since 5 take away zero is five, the fifth digit is five.

The final digit of the six digit code is equal to "The Killer" plus "Primate". "The Killer" corresponds to the top riddle on the west wall. The numbers in the riddle correspond to months of the year. If you take the first letter from each month they spell out the name Jason. Therefore Jason is the killer, and his name is number 3 on the list of suspects. Therefore "The Killer" = 3. "Primate" corresponds to the bottom riddle on the west wall. The riddle can be answered as either "you" or "me", seeing as the reader is (presumably) the smartest primate in the room. On the east wall is a list of words corresponding to numbers. The word "you" corresponds to the number four, and in this case is the right answer. Therefore "Primate" = 4. Since 3 + 4 =7, the last digit is 7.

Therefore, the final code is 779657.

It should be noted that there was no penalty for entering the wrong code, so in the case where two numbers could have been the answer both could be tried.

In the end it was DragonLady who cracked the code after 99 minutes. Congrats again to her and her team for deducing the solution to this DOOM ROOM.

Thank you again so much SuggarBunny for hosting such a fun event! We all tried our best to think under the pressure! The clock ticking! Our hearts pounding! I thought we were all Doomed, but we managed to figure it out through team work! Specially Dragon! Thanks for saving us haha. I definitely will be at the next one!
