Second of all, the only thing OP is suggesting is that males who play female avatars *should* be honest about their true gender, out of courtesy to the other players. I'm not sure why 100mg's topic got combined with this topic, but as usual the peanut gallery as gone off the reservation with the main point behind 100mg's post being about people just being honest about who and what they are. The concept of course would be for a subscriber to submit a picture of themselves holding some version of a sign with their avatar name on it and something to the effect "I love 3dxchat" where the profile accounts would include the users real gender and the verified pic as the profile pic. Yes I can feel the huffing and puffing behind the monitors now. I'm not recommending this as a mandatory requirement for people to do but an incentive for those people who wish to not hide behind secrecy, lies and pretending in the name of "it's just a game", "it's my fantasy" or "I want to get in touch with my feminine side" your men for Christ sake. What would be the incentive to do this, how about a daily return of 3000 gold instead of the measly 300 we are so graciously given now like beggars on the street. This would not violate any privacy law in any country because it's a voluntary choice for people to chose to do and as long as they agree to it with the understanding that the pic will be used as the profile pic, there is no liability against the owners/creators of the game. 3DX is a "Platform"  because lets be honest it really ISN'T  a "Game".  It is a social networking platform with a high emphasis on "FANTASY" sex.   The problem that occurs with us all is defining our perception of what "FANTASY"  is.   For many it is simply logging in as themselves to have an interaction with someone they don't know.  To others that fantasy is much more extreme,  role-playing "completely" another gender. 

 

The point is ... it's still fantasy and that is what the "PLATFORM" is designed for,  or as pointed out,  there would be safeguards to protect and prevent that type of action.  We can have our opinions, morals and ethical compasses what we SHOULDN'T do is make judgments of how others CHOOSE to play their fantasy.   I know some of you argue that THEIR fantasy impacts YOUR fantasy  and that's 100% true.   That is why I have said in the past,  if you can't accept this environment for what it IS  then you probably shouldn't play here.   People seem to take that as a "Well then get the fuck out of the game"   that is not at all how I intend it.   I am simply saying if you KNOW you will be so extremely bothered by some forms of peoples expressed fantasies,  have some self preservation and don't put yourself in the situation to be hurt.   There are, after-all many many other means of expressing fantasies that save you the trouble.

I think you are missing the point that if this existed it actually wouldn't be voluntary, thanks to the internet if a person chooses privacy they are automatically hiding something and will be isolated.

 

In addition what you are suggesting with the profile picture is incredibly dangerous, take a screenshot crop out the image, pop it into google image search and if you have even a semi-decent online presence google will most likely come up with a picture of you from another source.

 

Now the person has your real life identity, where you work, if you are married, do you have kids, your phone number etc...
