3DXChat 2.0 Discussion/Suggestions

I think there are a lot of subtle things you could add to 2.0 to make it more immersive, to make the sex stuff more realistic. For example, animations of avatars removing clothing, or switching positions, or different options within certain positions. So if you're in doggystyle, an option to smack your partner's ass; in cowgirl, reach up to grab her tits; or rub her clit while you fuck her, or suck on her neck, or just kiss her while you're fucking her. Little things like that could make the whole experience a lot more lifelike. Even non-sexual mini-animations, like holding hands, or splashing someone with water if you're swimming together. Changes don't always have to be huge to have a big impact; sometimes it's the little things that make a big difference.

2 months, 9 days later, after 2.0 update announcement: no real news, no update, no new changelog, NOTHING

Thank you "SexGameDevil"

EDIT: and by the way, no other side update. Quite hard to digest for Yearly subscribers when you see the backlog when 1 update per week was released.

just quit it... sell the game to some other company (serious company, not just a couple of kids messing around with 3d graphics and learning (unsuccessfully) how to run a business on the side) and find another job that you're good at.. maybe the one who buys you out (and this is going to be a cheap buy-out thanks to your disrespect which makes customers leaving) shows you the potential and how to make real money.. you want to make money? produce content and not register for every pointless affiliate you can find and spam us with it (just in case someone of us is stupid enough to accidentally click on it and earns you 10 cents) like desktop stripteases etc or ads exchange like the insane party. so desperate move that party and the striptease app.

maybe for once just listen to what people in this forum say and just do it... stop your whining and just do it - it's your job. don't misunderstand, you are not the customer to have the luxury of going away not saying a single word for 2 months. you are not paying us. we are the customers and we are the ones paying for this game and when we pay we are paying for a specific service, which includes basic fundamental things like "frequent steady stream of updates" like you promise (false advertising) and in case something goes wrong and you can't do your job, we request that we are informed so that we go find ourselves someone else to give our money to. meaning someone more responsible.

Yea... you have to wonder why they don't respond at all.  It's very strange.  Nobody is that busy.  I started playing another game in the mean time, and they just recently beta tested their own room editor.  I still check this forum almost every day, it sucks to know that there are people who paid a year recently and aren't getting the updates like we were when I was playing a lot, 2014, and 2015.  Really hope the devs come out of their cave and prove us all wrong.

Why not implanted Zero Theorem technology in 3dx to make the game more immersive? Like the virtual suit and full kit accesories...

attachicon.gifByIVFYrIYAAbK5B.jpgattachicon.gifvrmalepleasuretoy.pngattachicon.gifkiiroo-sex-toy-for-vr.jpg

btw, I noticed the beach in game look similar to the movie

This Won't work. For one technology like that is expensive and also not everyone has one or has access to such devices. So it'll probably be impossible and the fact that 3dx will probably never have a feature like that in a very long time if ever.

I was exciting hearing about the new 2.0 Unity 5 update that's coming, although it doesn't seem to be doing a lot, I was being hopeful. Seeing how that was announced in April and still not released? Such a disappointment.

Perhaps the Dev. announced it prematurely out of excitement or just to say something...

Is the Sexgamedevil team one person or something? One person that works on 3DXChat as a side hobby?

As a former PlayStation Home user, I thought PSN had bad communication. This isn't just bad, just non-existent.

Ya I used to play PSHome too... Atleast they had a content update every week. Always got SOMETHING on PSH every single week no matter if it was good or bad...

But that's neither here nor there. I'm not sure how many devs there are but if I were one of them I would probably take my sweet ass time with all the caustic comments and critiques that are all over the forum. Sure, it's their job and all... but I'm sure it's not nearly as fun when you hear very little positive feedback from the people that are playing your game... makes it hard to want to get in there and work when the people you're working for have such disdain for what you're trying to do.

I'm over it, they'll release it whenever it gets done. I'm sure it'll be nice and after they get over this hurdle they'll be able to get more updates out in shorter periods of time. Gotta have faith.

The reason we're criticizing them is because we love what they've made. If we didn't, why would any of us waste our time posting here?

Criticism is good. You can't always have constructive criticism, but as a developer, service provider, artist, or whatever, you should always be open to criticism. It's how you get better at what you do.

If the developers aren't giving us any news because they think we're criticizing them and not liking their product, I would frankly call that very childish behavior, and I would never expect it from a team of self-proclaimed professionals. This is their job. They provide a product, and promised a service they have failed to deliver. They must feel some level of responsibility for this.

I'm fairly positive if your cable company treats you this way, you're not gonna react this way to them. You're gonna demand for them to get their shit together, or give you your money back. What's different here? At least here we actually like the developers. Or used to. Whatever.

And if you feel we don't have any sympathy for them, you're wrong. We do. Otherwise we wouldn't complain. We'd just get up and leave, as a lot of people did.

I still have my idea.

They are in search of a business partner and so they're stuck like that. I don't event think that the 2.0 project is still on going. They're just keeping the game working because they can still pay the servers, but no more than that.

This is not their full time job in my opinion, so even if there are one or two only devs, they surely don't spend 24/24 h of their day time if they don't have a good business partnership plan.

Still my opinion I want to remember.

It's funny you mention the cable company because that is a pretty good thing to compare this too... Just not in the way that you've mentioned. A lot of the time (Atleast where I live...) there's only one cable company that offers service in the area you live in. They have the best product to offer... the fastest internet around. Are you able to switch to something else if you don't like their customer service? Is it going to be as good? Hell no... Everyone knows DSL sucks ass if you can get cable internet instead.

That's the same thing with 3Dx chat. They have the best looking 3D adult sex chat platform around... It's been around for four years... there's a fairly decent sized player base... Believe me I know when this game first started I was here for a couple months and I know what a "small" player base looks like. IF you pissed someone off you couldn't really avoid seeing them again it was that small and there was only one public space to go to. Anyway... I got off track a bit. Sure there are other options out there for you to play... but are they as good? Not really. I've tried most of them looking for an alternative but there isn't really one that's on par graphics wise. There's one other one now that has a larger player base... but that's mostly because it's free for it's basic service.

3Dx Chat used to have a customer service representitive just like the cable company does... but people stopped utilizing him so he quit doing it pretty much... I'm sure if Ash's dev Q&A topic were still going then we wouldn't be having quite as much toxicity but if no one asks the questions through the proper channel... I don't know.

Anyway! Just saying... Most of you have criticized the hell out of the devs for the last few months... They've created the best product around town and it's been out for about four years. They've hit a roadbump in development... which sometimes happens when you're creating a game... Just ask Duke Nukem or Gordon Freeman about development hell... Be glad that 3Dx Chat isn't Duke Nukem Forever... Be glad that Gizmo isn't Lord Gaben... Just be glad they're ONLY keeping us a bit in the dark and not feeding us BS too.

Exactly. And PS Home still ended up closing too.

I strongly believe if they released a hundred different clothing (regular and costumes) and hair options, plus more interactivity with the environment such as mini-games (a casino with games? even sexy games like strip poker or nude Twister lol) that it would become a lot more desired.

I'm really wanting to buy 3DXChat again but the reason I don't is the lack of content. I'd love to create a character and become social with others in 3DXChat if there were more to do.

That's fair to say too, because they've included many things that aren't sex themed, such as music, dancing, and different spaces to be social in. So 3DXChat isn't intended as a sex-only game, but that's the only great aspect of the game. Everything else is lacking, and not having sex on my mind 24/7 makes me not want to play 3DXChat just for fun (socially). And they probably can't create that type of content without more money, catch-22. Perhaps if they spoke to us, we'd know.

Because they choose to not engage with their community, makes me feel like there's not a lot of good stuff to share and would only disappoint us more. Unity 5 update is something, but only improves the overall game quality. While in my opinion the game already looked awesome, I don't really care about better looking water and a Fighting game that isn't actually coming. So once they install that update, we will still be here asking for new content.

While my opinion is one of many, it should only be taken as constructive criticism to the developers. I want to see 3DXChat blossom into something much better for all of us to enjoy. They want our money (potential buyers), they must do more. Unless they already make enough and don't care anymore. Without any dialogue from the devs, we won't know.

But what you're describing is essentially a monopoly. Just because you have the best product in a market, it doesn't mean you can just abandon all your customers. I would really hate to live in an area where the only high speed cable provider is a shitty one that doesn't give two fucks about its customers. That's what 3DXChat is right now. Which isn't good! I don't know how you're trying to spin monopoly to be a good thing. There are even legal restrictions on monopolization in most areas of the world.

And the problem is we don't know if this is just a "roadbump" in development. If gizmo hopped on and mentioned "Hey guys and gals, we're kinda burnt out, so we're taking a vacation for 6 months!", I'd be perfectly ok with this. Myself, and a lot of people, aren't complaining about lack of updates. We're complaining about lack of communication.

There is absolutely no justification for this lack of communication that still implies this game is being maintained. Absolutely none. Period. There is zero evidence that even remotely suggests the developers are still working on this game. For all intents and purposes, tomorrow you could be trying to log into 3DXChat, and it doesn't connect because the rent ran its term and they shut it down. Why? Who knows! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that happened at this point.

And I've been around 3DXChat since the start. So I know all the stuff you're talking about. As I mentioned before, I've even been paying for subscription without playing the game JUST TO SUPPORT THEM, because I love what they've made.

The fact that 3DXChat has grown to be so successful is not a valid justification for their lack of communication with the community; in fact, even if this isn't their full time job, any developer would have to be mentally insane and incredibly short-sighted to not devote more time to such a successful project and a loyal community. What it basically implies is that they just wanted to make a quick buck, and they did, and they're done now. That, I don't respect.
