Songs You'd Like To Sing To Your Ex (or Exes)

Recommended Posts

I like to convey messages using music.  If we could all break into song like in a musical or a disney movie, I'd share all my feelings in song and dance. ;)

I thought it would be cool to have a thread specifically where we could share the last words we wish we could have said to our ex lovers through music. Even if they never hear it or see this thread, in a secret way you'd have made some peace within yourself. Maybe? Who knows, but it would be fun to hear what people would have to say to their ex lovers in song.

I will start:

-Clumsily dances as he lipsyncs to Megan -

It's not that I want him back, ain't trying to be mean

But I bought him brand new clothes and burned his skinny jeans,
And she'll never know that I made him better for her

So, give some credit where it's due,
Give props to you know who
I gave him swag, I made him cool,

He used to be a fool

So, give some credit where it's due,

Give props to you know who
You know who, you know who
Give credit where it's due

Almost Lover

One Fine Frenzy

You sang me Spanish lullabies
The sweetest sadness in your eyes
Clever trick

Well, I never want to see you unhappy
I thought you'd want the same for me

Goodbye, my almost lover
Goodbye, my hopeless dream
I'm trying not to think about you

Can't you just let me be?
So long, my luckless romance
My back is turned on you
Should've known you'd bring me heartache
Almost lovers always do

Soundtrack...."Gifts"....stupid reasonings/excuses...

.You'll think of me...

Ever since you found yourself in someone else's arms
I've been tryin' my best to get along
But that's OK
There's nothing left to say, but

Take your records, take your freedom
Take your memories, I don't need'em
Take your space and take your reasons
But you'll think of me
