So many many many times one person of the couple will get D/Ced and either you wait for your partner to come back from AFK or you have them come and get you. Just a simple code you could give to someone to allow them and only them into your place unfettered or vice-versa. Yes there are work arounds now, we currently use the Group mode together but a hard D/C will negate that, or we use to option of opening a friends only room to await your partner but that leaves the room open to all friends (nothing personal mind you). Missy and I spend a ton of time in game and this would be so sweet an option for us as well as other partner relationships out there i am sure.... just saying.....
