yunhee Posted December 1 Posted December 1 Hello [Developer/Support Team], I would like to report a recurring issue with Korean font rendering in the game, which appears to be related to TextMeshPro. Issue Description: - Korean characters display correctly for a certain period after launching the game. - However, after some time has passed, characters begin to break or disappear, as shown in the attached screenshot. - The issue manifests as missing glyphs, replaced by empty squares or boxes. Steps I Have Taken: 1. Imported and applied NotoSansKr font. 2. Imported and applied Gothic font. 3. Changed system locale and language settings to Korean. 4. Switched Korean input methods (IME). Results: - Despite these changes, the issue persists. - The problem does not occur immediately, but only after a certain duration or scene transitions. - This suggests that the font asset or glyph cache may be unloaded from memory over time. Impact: - Korean text becomes unreadable, severely affecting communication and usability for Korean-speaking users. - This is especially problematic in chat interfaces and UI elements. Request: - Please investigate whether TextMeshPro font assets are being prematurely unloaded or mismanaged. - A patch or configuration option to keep specific fonts cached would be greatly appreciated. - If there is a recommended workaround or fix, I would be happy to apply it.
