New patch required password reset not sending reset email

Just tried to log in and there was a new patch that required a password reset.

I followed the link, put in my account email, now sat waiting here for 15 minutes and no sign of a password reset email? Tried again after it would let me after 10 minutes and it didn't send the second time either, not in spam, just locked out.

Tried doing it via the main website member's area too, just takes me to the same reset link that doesn't work.

I have the same problem, the password is not sent to my account email, after waiting for 30 minutes now.

The customer service is not reachable due to not being able to find your product code, because that code is only seen when you can log in on the site, which we thus cannot.

I do not have the original email with the product code, as I became a client many years ago, and the mail is gone.

It doesn't work for me either. There is no email to be found in either the mailbox or the spam folder.

Fine, I'll make a shorter one..

The password only included these symbols: !$&

 

I've been taught to always use symbols for a more secure password, so why aren't symbols allowed here?

I would really appreciate if you let me decide if and when I change my passwords. Especially if your forced reset keeps me out the game I´m paying for.

it seems like some people don't receive email even after multiple attempts, but others do receive it. I'm of those who received it.

However, in chrome, I had a false warning that the page is insecure. While the link is actually HTTPS. No warning on firefox.

So I've been able to collect my daily xgold this morning, but I easily figure out that others may not. So it would be great to do something for those who are facing the email issue and thus can't collect their daily xgold.

I totally aggree. 8 is still short, and the standard punctuation symbols at least should be accepted. There's no due reason for rejecting these.

Hi all. For those having problems the issue might be related to VPN usage? I have Nord, on my first attempt... nothing. Then rebooted laptop, closed Nord VPN before relaunching 3dx and it worked flawlessly. Email arrived in my SPAM folder within seconds, with warnings, but also worked when disabled.  Absolutely NO guarantee this is the cause or solution, only it worked for me. I've had problems before with Nord and Cloudflare, seems they don't play well with each other. Hope this helps someone.

i've reposted your claim to discord server, one person just replied not using any VPN but still having the issue not receiving any email. There's a seriously high number of people having the issue and I seriously doubt such a high number of person use VPN.

I think you might have to subscribe to their discord server to see this channel. Or get your 3DX account linked with discord account. As far as I remember it unlocked a few channels when I did it. And someone just posted there having the issue with gmail also (which worked for me)

I have gmail and its not working for me. Its not a email problem
