btown978 Posted August 13, 2024 Posted August 13, 2024 Ah--then your problem might have to do with your antivirus blocking it. Look at the other posts from today and you'll see some recommendations from other posters to create exceptions for certain files/folders in order to get the game to run.

I am not using any Antivirus, Antimalware software or anything else that would be "blocking" the game from executing correctly. I also excluded its installation path on the Windows 7 built-in Defender. BEFORE the update, it was all well. Now the Launcher is starting, checking the files but when its small window disappears and the game login screen should appear on-screen, nothing happens. It is just running as a 3DXChat.exe process in the task manager, occupying 11mb of RAM and a 13% CPU, which is not usual. LoryGrau Posted August 14, 2024 Posted August 14, 2024 (edited) Same exact issue with Windows 7 Ultimate. Launcher completes its process and runs fine but fails to launch the interface. Never had a problem in 2 1/2 years before this update. I tried everything as well: Restarting PC, download patch from site, reinstall multiple times (including a clean install by deleting registry entries with the .bat file Gizmo shared years ago). I also disabled firewall and didn't run any antivirus. Nothing has worked until now. I tried installing it in a newer Windows 10 PC and it did run fine. Ironically, Windows defender and Firewall are running in this system. It doesn't seem to be OS related, since people are experiencing this issue across different ones. What confounds matters is that some get it to work adding firewall/AV exceptions, but that is clearly not the case for others. Thanks! Hopefully a solution will be found soon. J'ai été sur le serveur Discord de 3DXChat et lancé un ticket d'incident. Eva Support m'a recommandé de désinstaller le client, puis de le réinstaller. Etant sous windows 7, J'ai d'abord essayé de le désinstaller comme je le fait habituellement avec Ccleaner. Cela n'a rien fait. J'ai eut un message d'erreur. J'ai en suite essayé avec Advanced Unistall PRO, et pareil, cela n'a rien donné, j'ai eut un message d'erreur. J'ai essayé en allant dans mes Programmes et de désinstaller normalement par Windows 7, mais j'ai également le même message. Chose étonnante, cela me montre un 3DXChat build 427. De plus, le message me dit qu'il ne trouve pas le code de la version de désinstallation... Je suis complètement bloqué. Je n'arrive pas à le désinstaller proprement, pour le remettre. I was on the 3DXChat Discord server and started an incident ticket. Eva Support recommended that I uninstall the client, then reinstall it. Being on Windows 7, I first tried to uninstall it as I usually do with Ccleaner. It didn't do anything. I got an error message. I thought was me all this time but no it tour company that messed everything up that needs to fix it.

The software cycles through checks and says all up to date and game will start and then.. nothing. Windows 11, no firewall, no anti-virus. I even tried Run as administrator. HELP !

Making exceptions with my anti-virus got past that issue, but now all I get is "Connection Refused" after a short time in game. Also no people or user created rooms show up.
GemmaJorden Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 Same here , my brand new Lenovo is now in blue screen of death after 3dx install, so i tried on my older pc ,it loaded and same issues as everyone here it just wont launch , have checked firewall ,and allowed permissions for 3dxchat ...still nothing ........Seems like we got a bum load ...

Kristine Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 I really need help here.. I tried the patcher.exe then I downloaded the entire zip file again and re-installed it but exactly the same outcome. I goes through a bunch of tests, says its complete and then.. zip, nothing, the pop-up closes.

I uninstalled and reinstalled it by ten times, cleaned the registry manual and with CCleaner, everything failed ... Now freezed in this step. I don't know what to do more. Hope anyone have an idea. The game pop-up confirms its the latest version and just when it normally would start.. nothing! Back to square one.. I uninstalled and deleted all copies of the game from my PC. Then downloaded the latest version from members, unzipped it, and then ran the reinstall. It downloaded the full game (3.9 GB). Extracted it (5.3 GB), then tried running each of the .exe files in the folders 3DXChat/3DXChat.exe Game/3DXChat.exe Launcher/3DXChat.exe Nothing! No game, no start-up, no please login as it has been for 9 years. What do I do next?
