RileyA Posted July 30 Posted July 30 (edited) I connected my new Quest 2 to my PC's Quest link, and launched 3dxchat through my headset... However, I still couldn't enter VR mode, it's greyed out in the setting. I seen from another older post that there suppose to be a purple bit under the login button in login page, but it doesn't appear here (Tried pressing F1 and any button on my Quest controller it doesn't come out). Is the VR mode still working? Can anyone help me on this? (The blurry photo is the screen on my quest 2, and the other one is my PC monitor) Edited July 30 by RileyA

First I launch the Meta Quest Link on the PC (downloadable from the Meta site). You have to press "Continue" on the first page of the program so that it recognizes the headset. Then on the headset I establish the connection with the PC by launching the questlink. The connection can be made by wifi or by USB3 Display port cable. I choose this one because it is more efficient. Once the connection is established, I launch 3DXChat on the pc and when the login page appears, I press F1 which makes the pink button appear. I have the Quest3 but I know that it also works with the quest 2.

I linked my quest 2 to my PC quest link but it still doesn't show Right now I noticed I have this tab on my quest, it just keeps loading
TonyFrx Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Pink Button. It appears when you press F1. Email address and password must be entered once vr mode is activated Edited July 31 by TonyFrx
Diana Prince Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Try to connect the Quest via cable, then use Virtual Desktop (Google the download link please). From there you start 3DXC as usual but press F1 when you see the login screen.
TonyFrx Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Yes it works with Virtual Desktop but it is not for free. The best solution is the Meta Quest Link. The link to download for free here :https://www.meta.com/en-gb/help/quest/articles/headsets-and-accessories/oculus-link/set-up-link/ But the VD may be the solution for those who have other brands of headset like the Pico 4. Maybe to try.
