Lily Cordova Posted December 31, 2023 Posted December 31, 2023 Since yesterday I've experienced constant disconnects from both Live and Beta servers. Here is a quick list of all I have tried to resolve this. checked my internet connection, including ping tests and have no problems playing other online games. Restarted my modem and router uninstalled and reinstalled the game completely along with a registry cleaning. tried playing on a different machine with a different IP Used a VPN when I had never had to use one before Used the Selftest trouble shooter from the here on the forums. After all of this, I still have problems with staying connected. I had never had such a problem when playing this game before. It only started yesterday and continues until today. Sometimes it settles down and I can be online for an hour or so and then it starts up again. I have spoken to other players and a few of them are experiencing similar issues and have tried at least some of the troubleshooting steps I have with no success. Any assistance for this problem would be greatly appreciated.
CleoSuicide Posted January 1, 2024 Posted January 1, 2024 I get the same after tonight. Tried to log into the game, got booted several times, signed back in, and now I have no room list and I cannot stay connected.
Sage Stoner Posted January 2, 2024 Posted January 2, 2024 All weekend long the same thing has happened to my friends and I. And I have to tell you, it really sucks to plan an event, invite people, and then watch fizzle out because nobody can stay online.

ManuJohansen Posted January 9, 2024 Posted January 9, 2024 Having constant disconnects tonight , tried diferent server too same problem. my internet is running at full speed 300Mbps. Is anyone else having the same issue in north america? xTGLilBabyGirlx 1
Lamby Posted January 10, 2024 Posted January 10, 2024 (edited) This consistently happens to me every night since the last patch. And it's definitely NOT my firewall or any issue on MY end. I spend hours during the day with no issue on there, then suddenly 10pm rolls around and I get disconnected, then every time I try to log back in it will redbox with "Connection Failed" or "Connection Lost" and my Rooms List disappears because it doesn't actually connect to 3DX servers. This is definitely a technical issue on 3DX, none of my other programs experience connectivity issues, and it makes no sense that it works fine during the day, but not at night... xxxMGxxx Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 I'm having exact same problem now. I get DC every 5mins -1hour, just started happening 5 days ago. I been trying to fix it and troubleshoot it with no luck. I have wiped my hard drive and installed a fresh copy of windows. I have had the internet company come to my house and install all their stuff new even the lines. Disabled Windows firewall and antivirus. Run 3dx as administrator. I did the shell test everything came back green and ok . Deleted the game 3-4 times fresh installs. Changed my DNS to different ones. Used a VPN. All with same results. I sent in a support ticket and told them everything i did. They replied telling me to try everything i just said i did in the email? Not sure if that was some kinda of joke? or like a auto response? I can't even wrap my head around that reply lol but i can see there is no use to even reply to that email. Any assistance from the community would be greatly appreciated. If anybody knows anything else i can try?
ViolaBrunette Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Having trouble with connection described here: 1) Can login, choose avatar, start world. 2) But other worlds do not appear 3) After some minutes message "Connection lost" appears. Checked by instruction above and got selftest results: Changing DNS does not help. Similar issue with other PC. VPN does not help.
SmithsonL Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Also having issues now, happened only this week has been perfectly normal before. Haven't changed any internet settings, but if anyone knows the port number for the Gamerserver then I can try portforwarding if that will help... Just a bit strange how all of a sudden it doesn't work. TIA for any help.
ViolaBrunette Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) Tried with firewall on and firewall off. Added as allowed app in firewall settings. Absolutely same situation. Edited January 22 by ViolaBrunette

sweetpusik Posted January 27 Posted January 27 (edited) I am located geographically in Russia. For two weeks, I've been getting the "Connection lost" error. I changed it to different DNS, reset the avatar, excluded the game in the Windows security system, reinstalled the game twice. The antivirus is also turned off... Nothing helps. I've read articles to solve the problem, but it's no use. I tried to connect the mobile Internet to my laptop and it doesn't work either. Everything works with VPN. The provider did not block anything. All my friends have it working, but I don't. It's a shame that everything was working, but suddenly it stopped. It's impossible to use VPN. I also read the above tips and did everything. It's still the same. Every day, there were different attempts to fix it. I communicated with the GPT chat, which advised me to contact technical support, as the problem was not on my side. I see that I am not the only one facing this issue. However, there is no solution, and everyone remains silent. After a year of playing, this is the first time I've encountered this situation. I was online every day, and there were never any disconnections. Suddenly, everything broke. And again, I've done a lot with DNS, and I've manually changed it and downloaded separate programs, but nothing has helped. I'm asking you, 3dxchat, to solve this problem. Please. DNS settings: I have tried using Google DNS (8.8.8.8) and Cloudflare WARP, but the result has not changed. Hosts file: Verified and cleaned, containing only standard entries. Windows Firewall: Allowing rules have been created for all game executables. Route tracing: Checking the connection to all key domains (3dxchat.com, usercontent.3dxchat.com, login.3dxchat.com) was successful, and the provider does not block basic access to server IP addresses. Test on different providers: The problem is completely duplicated on both home internet and mobile (LTE) in modem mode. Disconnection timing: The connection without VPN always drops after 90 seconds (reconnect), which is similar to Session Timeout. Working with VPN: When using VPN, the game works stably and without disconnections. This confirms that the problem is with blocking or filtering of game traffic (DPI) at the backbone provider level, or with erroneously blocking my IP ranges on your game server side. Network stack: netsh winsock reset and ipconfig /flushdns have been reset. IPv6 is disabled. In addition to the information sent earlier, I would like to inform you that attempts to bypass the potential blocking by the provider using utilities such as GoodbyeDPI and their counterparts have also been unsuccessful. This completely eliminates the issue on the provider's side and confirms that the blocking is most likely occurring at the level of your network firewall (IP-blacklist), as only a VPN can help bypass this problem. Please check if my current IP address is included in your internal blacklists. Edited February 2 by sweetpusik Solitary69 and ViolaBrunette 2
Pandorra Posted January 27 Posted January 27 I face also disconnects several times during an hour. Running self test: 3DXChat_connection_test.ps1 from https://status.3dxchat.net/ I usally get all green. But once I got a failed ping to the game server. Seems the failure is located there. Hope this helps and hope you get it fixed soon.
Bam666 Posted January 30 Posted January 30 Im also getting constant Connection Lost Messages. Sometimes after a few seconds, sometimes after several minutes. Reconnecting always works, but not for long. I disabled Windows Firewall, updated all Drivers, made an exception for the Windows Defender for 3dxchat.exe process, reinstalled the game, and so on. But totally nothing works. I also tried the connections tests and they were all green, even in those moments i get disconnected. This is getting frustrating. Are there any news for this topic or any workarounds to get it back running?
sumatra Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I have to say, i have the same issue. But i have observed that the amount of disconnects increasing in the evening. My timezone is UTC+1 and the disconnects getting worst after 6 pm. Between 12am and 6pm i just had 2 disconnects. Does anyone is making the same experience? AV and firewall was temporarily disabled and had no effect. Keep fingers cross Community

sumatra Posted February 3 Posted February 3 Formely, There was a manual selection at the start page of the game, where you were able to choose the server region. Now it is just "cloud". I wanna know if the client select the right server by themself....
