Anyone getting this error. I tried to do the work around like others have done recently but no luck.

And yes I have enough space on my pc, that's not the issue.

I've already restarted and downloaded fresh installers and still same issue.

It looks like the Steam error try one of the following

  1. Restart the PC. ...
  2. Remove Drive Write Protection. ...
  3. Disable the Read-Only Setting. ...
  4. Verify Game Files Integrity. ...
  5. Clear the Cache Files. ...
  6. Relocate Steam. ...
  7. Disable Your Antivirus.

Hi there, I am getting a different message and it is not getting past the patcher as well. I tried uninstalling and deleting the folder and downloading a new one at a different location as well, restarting it but it says the same thing to close the game instance for patcher to update the game. Please advise on how to resolve this issue.

Tried that already and same issue. I installed the beta and it was fine, when I try to run the actual installer same issue persists. Going to keep troubleshooting and see if I can get it working.

Try running 3DXChat\Launcher\3DXLauncher.exe instead of the main 3dx executable

Tried this and same error. I’ll keep messing with it and when I find a solution I’ll post it
