TonyFrx
It would be nice to have the possibility to activate chat bubbles in the settings. The distance at which these bubbles would appear could be adjusted: Near, Medium, Far.

Leeloo
I tried this feature in second life and trust me, it's unreadable if you have a lot of people talking around you.
MeiLing
Not the best for immersion
TonyFrx
It is true that it requires some precautions. I come from a game called Twinity. It wasn't a problem. I even found that the immersion was better. The bubble only stays for a few seconds. We could limit it only to people nearby or for Group chat dialogue. But I notice that in the Local chat there is not so much dialogue.
AIice
I agree with Tony... local chat is at best meh for some of us... I stopped using it time ago to be honest. Maybe that bubble thing can be a good idea.
TonyFrx
Anyway you could always activate or deactivate this function in the setting if you don't like it
