@Athene, without having photoshop, there are many other ways to enhance a photo, with online picture filters, and quite easy to use. There are many free websites that you can find on Google for online picture filters.

For example through this link :

http://apps.pixlr.com/o-matic/

Hope it helps, if you feel like trying :)

@Athene... Shanti's suggestion is good. I have that app on my cell phone and it's very intuitive and easy to use.

I will leave some suggestions too:

http://www.pizap.com/

http://www.picmonkey.com/

http://www.befunky.com/create/

Is it safe to assume, that no "photoshop "can be used for these? Cause if its allowed, that's rather disappointing, especially for those who are not able to use the program. Its gives those who can an unfair advantage, that being said here is my submission.

These ladies posted nice ideas for those who do not have Photoshop. I have used photoshop but can also use paint and freeware out there.

Pretty much, I even have a degree for Multimedia Graphic Design, so I could whip up some snazzy looking thigs. But I find it dilutes the competition entirely. Im looking at you gizmo, because those with these skills really do have an unfair advantage. It also deters from the game entirely. People will look at these images and go, "WOW" that looks amazing. Only to find out they were heavily altered. Not cool gizmo, not cool indeed.

Apologies, I deleted my previous posts with photoshopped pictures. I only added them because I read it was allowed to post them, didn't intent to dilute the competition.

Its a free country, keep what you like, and if Gizmo says its ok, its ok. I just find it to be unfair to those who dont know how to use 3rd party programs like photoshop to spice up their images. And again this is just IMO.

Gizmo said it was allowed and in all honesty with that being said, if someone wants to enhance their chances, they can use an alt program. They are not hard to use. Just regular screens for a monthly competition can become redundant without creative license. If you can use Word, and other software programs, I think it is a safe assumption that 3dmonkey or whatever is easy to use. Most free programs walk you through it. Some people do not know how to post a screen link, take a screen shot, or upload an image. Is it also unfair to them?

using the F5 floating cam can get some interesting shots without enhancing thru photo shop or other programs
