Game crashes after a while - no temperature issue

When playing the game it regularly crashes after a while, however no idea on the cause. It happens sometimes after a few minutes sometimes after an hour.
It looks to me like a memory overflow. At first I thought, it's a temperature problem but monitoring them proved, it isn't. Another proof ... after having woken up the computer from energy safe mode in the morning (lowest temperature) and started 3dx as a first application, it crashed immediately.

First after a complete reboot of the machine, I can re-launch the game and take another try.

Any ideas ?

it would be interesting to know if it is your computer that crashes or the game because a game crash does not necessarily require a reboot of the computer depending on the extent of the crash.
