"Connection Lost" always right after logging in

Hello there everyone. I've been having an issue the past couple days where, each and every time I log into the game, I head straight to the character creation screen. After a few seconds, I get "connection lost." This happened to me before and I forget how I fixed it, but I have tried everything from reinstalling, to adding exceptions in my firewall / antivirus, running as admin, so on and so forth. If there is anyone out there who is able to help me, I would greatly appreciate it! Also, my apologies if I am posting in the wrong area, this is the first time I have ever posted on the forum for the game.
