Any Chance to use it with Spotify too?

There seems to some talks about a plugin called "Spotiamp"

you can check that out here http://web.archive.org/web/20141208232737/http://spotiamp.com/

I personally haven't tested that myself but it seems you need the premium sub for Spotify for this to work, basically this routes your Spotify playlists through winamp. If it works for you let us know because I'm sure there's a huge demand for something like this compared to scouring through youtube.

Yeah i mean Spotiamp

So I downloaded it and tried couple things, I was able to get a Line in from Spotiamp but cant seem to figure out the audio, just plays on mute for now but I think it might be possible somehow.

Keep an eye out, I'll update the thread if I get it work and possibly make another tutorial for this.

Listen2myradio is tightly marketed with only a few listeners for free accounts while that other one is unlimited and fast and easy.

They even give you your own web site ready made.

Never heard of that app but I finally got the Spotiamp to work with Winamp for broadcasting Spotify. I'll post the tutorial soon.

you will have issues using spotiamb as it uses shoutcast v1 protocol.

there is another encoder I found that will stream spotify playlists but I did not like the audio myself as I am an audio snob but for the average person I am sure they will find it useful.

it is called foobar2000 and you have to dl the spotify component to get it to work, and the encoder you want to use is in there called Vorbis streamer add that and you can set up your server in there.

foobar2000 is also open source freeware as well. Hope this is helpful :D

I'll take a look into foobar but i did mange successfully setup the spotiamp + winamp combo for @Elesha, also had few friends test it.
Just never got around to making the tutorial Lol

foobar works great, just if youre using listen2myradio, you have to choose Icecast instead of Shoutcast. Because only working caster (Vorbis stream) is casting music in Vorbis ogg and listen2myradio Shoutcast only supports mp3.

It works great with Foobar2000 thanks! But i dont hear the Music in Game.. Do i need to use another Link from the Side when i use an Icecast Server?

In Icecast, you must specify mount point. In case of listen2myradio its /stream. So full path is http://<ip address>:<port>/stream

And check if youre radio is on. They usually turn it off if youre not streaming for like an hour.

Dear Kelly, your method allows transmit from our PC using winamp + the listen2radio server, and is powerful for doing live streaming . In my case , I found easier to use the zeno.fm option. After viewing your method, I understood we need to transmit using the shoutcast option, that i could see in my zeno settings then, finally.

I was wondering is the zeno option allows the same number of simultaneous listeners as compared with your option. For only 1 or 2 listeners, zeno is working

Thanks for your post. Help me alot :cap_like:

Best regards.

Just before the last update, I could put a listen2myradio link in my room to share it with others. But since then, I've been the only one to hear it. do you know if there have been any modifications?

Strange, Have you tried other Streaming sites mentioned above in this thread or is it localized to listen2myradio?
