Seriously, it's not that hard to communicate- or have a warning broadcast across the server so people know its going down. Not everyone has discord or the forums up 24/7. You can get a refund same way as everyone else and end your subscription. Else you just wait and if it's a long down time you'll probably get some xgold or play time, as usual, for what it's worth.
