Had the pleasure of being asked to spin my tunes at Curiousret’s ‘Chill w Bill’ room. 3.5 hours of music, with the only requirement he gave being that it should be (what I consider) relaxing. So I brought a set that meandered from Johnny Cash, to Blues, to Lindsey Stirlings soulful violin work, to Lzzy Hale’s awesome voice, to Opera-esque La Voix, to the more modern upbeat tunes of Electro Swing. It was a journey and one that people loved it seems. The room was vibrant, alive, and never saw the chat stop for even a minute. Jokes, sweet compliments and conversation flowed freely and the three and a half hours went by so fast. It was a balm for the soul. If you ever need a place to chill, look for Chill w Bill on the room list. The Old Man is worth the visit. Stay safe y’all and stay awesome. And I think I will spin for Bill in the future again, but as far as I know now, next Monday will be Stellania's turn. Bill's a good friend of the Dangerous Divas so we're honored that he asked us to spin for him. Let's us show our Non-Metal and Rock sides a bit. So agree on both points. I have a German friend who always apologizes for their limited English. I say to them they should be proud not apologize! Conversing through Google translate, I have been able to properly compliment. I appreciate those using their second, or third language to share communication. Derai Posted March 23, 2021 Author Share Posted March 23, 2021 Been a while since I’ve rambled here. ‘bout that time again methinks. My experience in 3DX is edging towards bittersweet recently. Things are undoubtedly looking up. I’m reconnecting with friends I thought lost. Making new friends and meeting new people. Also getting recognized some days, which is always a massive ego boost. The Dangerous Divas are back to Waaagh too, gigs getting renewed traction and always a blast to do. Aside from that I have been helping out friends by spinning at their rooms. Everything feels like a return to the good old days. And yet. I am waiting for the other shoe... Heh... Funny how that goes no? Anyway. Just a ramble. Take care out there and stay safe!
