(3DX CHAT DEVS) why are we not getting answers from the devs for these random bans or blocks

Be careful what you wish for. It would ruin the game for the most of community. We would end up banned for the simple "slut" in out dirty talks.

Right.

But even the devs are breaking their own rule in that case.

I mean they put the actual word SLUT on a colar too.

It's a right for everyone to wear it or not, to call themselves that way or not. This isn't a personal insult, is it?

of course we can chose to take it as an insult or not. surely you are right there.

I was merely replying to the previous post. About the rules being broken if we take it like an insult. Would make no sense since the devs themselves break it also, if we take words like slut and so on as an insult.

Because they wrote the word slut on a colar they themselves added. And people wrote that on a room. same thing

And yet technically all ‘profanity’ is forbidden according to their own rules.
I think they just copied the rules from somewhere and didn’t bother to amend them to fit a porn game.
I mean it mentions Platoon, Clan and Team recruitment. While the game doesn’t actually have any official function to do that anyhow.

The rules are quite generic and are a catch all type of thing which allows them the ability to interpret them as they wish to. The same as most places.

Well yeah. But let’s break down two glaring ones.

No profanity. On a adult game. How does that make sense? It’s in the rules and a good example of one they Choose not to Enforce.

No advertising. They offer the option to host parties. But you’re not allowed to actually advertise them. And currently you’re apparently not even allowed to mention in WC that you Are hosting a party. Because that’ll get you reported and banned. So here’s one they Do Enforce now.
But ignored for years.

You say the rules are vague for a reason. But that also means they can basically make shit up on a case by case basis. To ban whoever they want.

And honestly that IS their right. If we like it or not.

Thats exactly what I'm saying, they make up whatever they like , you're right and there is nothing we can do about it.

As far as advertising goes they probably need to provide some way for people to do it, even though I'm quite confident in saying that advertising has minimal benefit at all, especially when it's overdone.

I think we can safely say that across the various threads now, one theme emerges.
Which is this games Main failing.

A utter lack of clear dialog with, or information from, the Developers.

They stay silent on multiple issues and if they ‘inform’ us of anything it’s lackluster and often very obviously just with a minimal amount of effort.

I agree with Derai

They have been providing a lousy technical performance for weeks and now crown it with the usual poor communication coupled with arbitrary measures against hosts who actually support and promote the game.

I like this game a lot... Hope they will listen to their paying customers and improve at least the communication....that should be not to difficult......

Back in 2015 and yes I was in game then, there were countless posts for rooms in world chat and people would go into other rooms and spam them with the room listings.  It was even worse then as you used to sent invites to everyone in the game, imagine getting that every two seconds from users while you're busy doing something else, it was a major pain in the ass and not in a good way.  We also were able to HTML codes, colors and any size font.  That was so fucking annoying to everyone in game because they did it on all three chat tabs as we used to have a Roleplay one as well and they screwed us over with regular chat on there because World was so fucked up you couldn't see a regular conversation unless you blocked everyone and who the fuck wants to do that.  So the Devs listened to us and removed that function for World chat, we lost the Roleplay tab and then removed the invites so now you have what you have in World.  While you may not like it, some post far too much and there are countless people who post for rooms that are open because they're in it and are friends with that person.  Why do you think people have been asking if there was  way to not see that and just the regular chat without having to block everyone who's posting in World.  The way the World is you can be on for 5 minutes and you'd get 3/4 of World with people advertising their rooms and/or posting for their friends room.  Now the Devs are finally taking action and people are complaining about it just as they had when they were doing nothing about it.

And if @Gizmo and / or @Lisa CAN'T do that simple thing, or don't care about being bothered to do it, select someone that will represent them.

No -power- needs to be given to that person but they could be the bridge between the community and the devs. A kind of figurehead.

Simple. Efficient. No real cost. Less frustrations from the community being un-answered. Doesn't mean the issues would get fixed but at least someone would have read and probably replied.

I saw some of you discussing this today, how WC is a 'coffee shop' and that's partly true. I've met a few hookups there, and it's also a place where members can air out a little. That's not without importance in an online community, especially if you want everyone a little closer. If you don't have something like that then your members are going to be more 'individual'. I didn't come online to be that way, the main character of a single-player game, because that's what that essentially is.

I've thought about situation very much. I'm not a developer nor am I any sort of Staff member, but I do love our club owners and what they provide for us. My primary music love is Metal, but I've heard so many Pop, Hip Hop, Trance, Dance, Latin, and Moombahton remixes that I'm totally addicted and blowing up my Siri. While 3DX isn't an MMO it certainly has the MMO dynamics and the sum total of every MMO's thinking has been (besides forum announcements) to add something equivalent to a 'Trade Channel' or 'Guild Chat' so people knew where they could go- at any moment.

One thing frustrating in every MMO, though, is a lot of good ideas knocked in the head by someone saying 'someone will abuse this by ..' They probably will find a way but that's another battle for another day, and that doesn't mean things shouldn't be moving forward because of worry or fear. It's a cop-out and we ultimately give the Dev's every reason not to do anything at all, because we're aborting every good idea right in front of them. That's the risk involved in pioneering things and what makes the rewards so gratifying.

I am glad for several of you. You have built a reputation that will hopefully (and likely) see you through until an answer. It's the new clubs suffering the most. It will also make them a lot tougher if they press through, so look out! Things tend to happen in 'seasons' and this may be the season for some of you to solidify what you have.

I wasn't debating you; I even agreed with you. But there is a time when something starts to build and the meaning of things is now in the hands of the membership. Admin can call it a game and it's their right. It's not not conducive to people treating each other like people but more like targets, but it's their right. If the membership, however, made 3DX (by their actions) into something more then what could the Admins do? Of course they won't rebrand but the core is still the core.

For example, the site I left was an 'online sex game' but the membership expanded the purpose by DJ'ing, making clothing, making homes, and so on. It was still called an 'online sex game' but people were doing different things and the sex was suddenly in the background one day. I know we can't sell clothes and such, but that's an example of the community redefining the brand. That wasn't my ultimate point, however.

Calling something with sex and feelings (because thy happen even if we insist on not letting them) a 'game' is kinda counter-intuitive. and encourages people (even in the smallest of ways) to see each other as conquests and status. I'm not here for more, but I like to respect the men I hookup with because if I can't then they're useless. I may as well call a black man a mere 'BBC' or a white man a 'BWC' like many do, because it's only a game and that's what 'team' they're on.

People complaining not because devs are taking action but because HOW devs are taking action.

If devs would warn people before – there would be 10 times less complaints.

If devs would add an additional advertisement channel and warn people that from now on they will ban anyone who advertise outside of this channel – there would be zero complaints. Or almost zero, maybe couple of people would bitch anyway – but it's always happens.

But it's not just online sex game. Even devs position it like "Multiplayer Online 3D Sex Game, Community & Virtual World".

And well, I myself also see 3dxchat first of all as a form of MMO.

But it does not stop me from understanding that there are real people behind the avis. Aren't in some World of Warcraft or any other MMO it's the same?

I wasn`t debating with you and was agreed with you too, except one thing. This is a MMO. Everyone can call this in a way they like, but this is MMO just by definition. Don`t get me wrong.

Are you giving me an ultimatum? I've been very neutral and objective in this. You need to find another chica to push around.

Why the ultimatum?  I gave you the definition of an MMO, linked you a site where you can see what 3dxchat is. Can you look at information constructively?

best regards
