Wait, does this mean advertised as a French room , players can't speak French.... because that could be deemed as racist.

Yes they own it, but if they over censor it, we all stop playing & paying... Forcing their customers away is not in their best interest.

Every time someone new enters my venue (not my regulars) I send the following message:

/me welcomes you to...
   ╔═════ ❤♡❤ ═════╗
♬♪♫       NUDΞ CLUB      ♬♪♫
   ╚═════ ❤♡❤ ═════╝

FUTA NUDIST RΞSORT OPΞN

Calm your soul the naked way
       No pressure, just relax

Does this mean I am spamming, and I am banned from welcoming players to my venue

My venue is a used a lot for Local Role Play... is this now banned..?

nah, seems they ban advertisement in local and world chat.

Nope. If, and I mean IF you're trialed for something (serious, obviously) that happens in-game, it'll be based on the laws of the country you live in. The U.S. Constituition means nothing outside of the U.S.

That is why there are international consumer rights which was accepted by US long time ago. I started here with this exactly. If company(placed in US) doing something against consumer rights, it will be judged in US accordingly with laws based on International Consumer rights. I started here with it really. Waves to John F. Kennedy back in 1962.

Yes, it is connected to 3dx and US laws which you and they should follow. That is why everyone can use it accordingly with US constitution and stuff. Google more about that. Seems you didn`t see how it happens.

Well as part of the EULA you agreed to this , right?

Yes. If it happen you can get your money back. Our devs are okay with this. Depends of situation.  Is more easy to give it back without a court trial.

So you say that for example, a company based and registered in Uganda comes under law form the country in which it's server is hosted?

I don't think so.

Tomorrow they can switch to other hosting company in other country.

@Laina

I don't think that it's correct to compare 3dxchat with your home. Or with GIsmo/Lisa home in this case. It would more correct to compare 3dxchat with a club or bar. Because home and club/bar/store while all being private property does not work the same way. I don't know how exactly it in the US but in my and many other countries exist some special regulations for establishments.

People have been linking TWO sets of rules, that contradict each other.

Yeah I very much agree about it. It's really weird. We have a ToS on the official site, the one we actually ACCEPT to be able to play the game.

https://3dxchat.com/game-rules.html

And we have a rules published on the forum:

And I can't understand why the hell should someone follow these rules in game? We did not accept them before subscribing. Many, I would even say majority of the players never registered on this forum. Many did not read these rules. And why should they read them in a first place? They had read a ToS and no one warned them that they should read additional rules on forum and follow them in game as well. Devs really should clarify this. Because now it looks like game does not have a clearly defined rules.

I for myself belive that I am not obliged to follow these rules in game because I did not accept them while registring my account. I only accepted the ToS on the main site. It makes no sense to follow two set of rules partially contradicting each other so I refuse to follow these rules in game becuase I accepted ToS during my game account registration process and take it as a priority set of rules.

It strikes me from reading all this that most, if not all, are kind of missing the point.

Or rather, you’re missing what is actually being displayed here by the Dev’s.

The simple facts are – rules or no rules – it was deemed acceptable for anyone and everyone to post ads for their rooms in World Chat.

Now, without warning, they are banning anyone and everyone who does that, apparently regardless of how many times it is posted.

And the people being targeted by this action, as they knew it would, form part of the core community of 3DX.

People who invest an incredible amount of time and effort creating rooms, putting together music mixes, striving to create fun and agreeable atmosphere’s in their rooms for the benefit of 3DX.

Basically trying to make 3DX the best place it possibly can be.

I appreciate there are other motives, I’m not naïve.  Frankly I found the war of words waged between some groups in other threads recently very disheartening, but I digress.

The point is, the Dev’s could have treated their core community with a teeny amount of respect and posted a warning here in the forum, on Twitter, Discord, etc.  It would have taken what?  15-20 minutes to type a 2 line warning and copy and paste it a few times.

They chose instead to treat their core community with contempt.

The very people who remain loyal through nightly server crashes, untold bugs and glitches, to make their 3DX creation the standard by which all other like platforms measure themselves.

That’s the most disheartening thing of all.

For the record, I haven’t been banned.  This is just my humble opinion of a very sad day in 3DX’s history.

Pardon me for condensing the quote a little but - I've not been banned either.  And my original statement was that the player base deserved clarification and the rules needed an addendum to proliferate exactly what is and is not acceptable if this is to be the case in the future.

I do love to use and see logic in dealing with these scenarios.  I told people to be patient, and wait for the official statement.  I'm still fairly convinced that this issue is still not even recognized by the dev team.  They're probably trying to enjoy their weekends off of work.  I find it unfair that people are losing their minds over it and some are going to far as to quote legal action suits they intend to take.

People are more inclined to point fingers and blame others than to just let events unfold.

Say this for everyone who was banned for spam they didn't do. Their time which they were paying for is still going.

List the rooms from low to high, take rooms with 0 population to down below. Take away 300 xgold crown thing away. I'm sick of seeing every same place on first 3-4 row everyday.

And while doing this maybe change something like "Sex Rooms" tab, So that i don't see stupid fucks who writes "BBC PORN FUCK OH YES BWC" on their room names. You'll say "ignore" There will be someone another allways. It won't end with "ignore"

I'm saying it for everyone that's blaming others, exactly as the statement was directed.  The statement made no assumption of guilt or innocence.

WOW my OCD usually compels me to read everything posted in Forum. Yeah, kinda weird that way, but not CRAZY weird. NFW... I’m reading through over 575 posts made in less than 36 hrs. My OCD… will fucking get over it.

Did read enough to figure out 3dx obviously pissed off n confused the fuck out of many club owners tossing out a mass of bans... over a WEEKEND.

THAT SUCKS

But communication is NOT Dev’s best asset, and it’s the weekend. So, at this rate we could hit 20,000 views by the time you get an explanation from Devs.

Now THAT’s gotta be in Record setting territory… certainly one I can’t keep up with

I got your point. I agree that people may wait devs and their words for some time. But developers see the problem(not the first day) and could let people know what's going on. This is much easier to do here on the forum in one short message, as they have done many times before. Most of people were happy to see any information by the devs. Good practice.

I don't like visitting this kind of rooms myself but judging the people and calling them "Stupid fucks" for creating sex themed rooms in a sex game... It's wrong, unreasonable and full of hypocrisy.

Another fact...

The last time I reported someone who stated they were underage on their profile, I had to provide a screenshot.... so it make you wonder, if players have to provide screenshots when they report someone.... how do we know no one had faked screenshots to get players banned..?

If players  who never use WC are getting banned for WC Spam... how did they get banned..? unless someone Photoshop a fake screenshot, and reported them

What makes you think this way? Support got a lot of appeals from the banned players and even answered them (in a worthless copy-paste way but still). Devs most probably know what is happening. And here in thread someone wrote that Lisa were in WC a few hours ago.

It can take a long time to analyze each picture.

Seems to me that by now  there  is  a general concensus, that these bans  is a result of a new policy from the dev's. It is a possibility, absolutely. But there is no proof of that, so far.

If it is a new spam policy, i find it strange that apparently it has hit rather randomly..... and not banned ALL who has spammed in WC.

Also, the story about Lisa (dev) threatening someone in WC with a ban for speaking french is mysterious (to say the least).

I believe some kind of attack is just as plausible  a theory.

In all cases, i think we will have SOME reaction/explanation from the devs on monday; history tells that they are never here on the weekends.

I don't know what constitutes spam in the eyes of the developers, I don't think anyone does. That's a big problem and we really do need to here something official on the matter to enable some clarity.

There was something interesting that happened in world chat in the past hour or so too. There was a bunch of peeps speaking French and of course a few others started complaining about it. All of a sudden Lisa(the developer) appeared in world chat and said something like 'Who wants to be blocked for talking in French in world chat?'. That was all she said, I was a bit surprised as I wasn't aware of any rule restricting chat in WC to English only. We really do need the developers to communicate what it is we  can or can't do in WC rather than just arbitrarily ban people. I'm confused as far as what's going on and I'm sure that others are too.

I was there for that too but I have a feeling that wasn't the Dev. That was all she said and people kept speaking French after that. I even stated in WC there is no such rule. Hmmm I havent logged in again since then lol ... lemme check.

Yeah all good. Logged in just fine.  I have seen more than once a person saying things like that to people speaking other languages in the WC.  One time someone screamed... ENGLISH ONLY IN WORLD CHAT!... everyone screamed back ... bullshit. So yeah I don't think that was legit.
