  1. This will map your oculus touch controllers to the game and allow you to move freely without a mouse and keyboard. First, you will want to install AutoHotKey. This will be the program that runs the script necessary to remap your buttons. https://www.autohotkey.com/ Next, you need this library to enable the script to work with your oculus touch controllers. https://github.com/rajetic/auto_oculus_touch/files/5792865/auto_oculus_touch_v0.1.7.zip Unzip this file anywhere that is easy to get to, preferably in its own folder. This will be important in the next step. Next, take the file I have attached to the post and put it in that folder. The setup is finished. Double click the ahk script that you downloaded from the post (attached) before you start 3dx in VR and your touch controls will work (mostly). I am still tweaking the script, but it works for now. It ONLY works for headsets connected to the desktop using Oculus Link or Airlink, it will not work if using the Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop. Virtual desktop does not pass the correct touch commands to the computer and use the script. One issue in VR I have noticed is that when you are in third person and move the camera, the screen goes black, but when you lift your thumb off of the stick it comes back. This happens with the mouse also in VR, so it may just be a bug. Let me know what you think, or please post with any improvements to the script! Move the camera using the right thumb stick. Use the A button as a left mouse button Use Right touch stick as right mouse Use the left thumbstick as zoom Remap Left Thumbclick to spacebar Use Y as Character View Use X as Eye View Use Left Menu button as free cam Use Left Index Trigger as E Use Left Hand Trigger as Q Use Right Index Trigger E oculus_touch_mouse_3dx.ahk
  2. Hi Guys, I'm thinking about getting a VR headset and was looking at the Quest 2. I know that you can link this to the PC with a cable and its acts much as a Rift S. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this set up will work with 3dxChat? Phil
  3. Spent some days trying to do check VR graphics out - apart from everything looking fantastic and appealingly immersive it is unusable in its actual state... when will you change motion control to standard Oculus behaviour? I mean, a mostly not working pointer through head movement and ONE button? Come on. This game deserves better, definitely. Thanks for clearing this up.
  4. So I noticed a few people in the forums claiming that this game doesn't work in the Vive even if you use Revive. This is simply not true. The game runs absolutely perfectly in the Vive. Here's an easy step by step guide on how to set this up to run in the Vive: 1. Make sure to install Oculus Home first and then Revive on your PC. You can grab Oculus Home at: https://www3.oculus.com/en-us/setup/ You can grab Revive at: https://github.com/LibreVR/Revive/releases 2. Install 3DXChat, login, and setup your character if you haven't already done so. Make sure to also set the framerate to unlimited. Don't lock it at 60fps and make sure Vsync is disabled. Now exit 3DXChat. 3. Goto your Revive installation folder. Mine is at C:\Revive 4. Inside the Revive installation folder, open another folder called Revive. For me the path is C:\Revive\Revive 5. Copy everything (including folders) inside C:\Games\Revive\Revive (into your 3DXchat directory. For me that's C:\3DXChat 6. Create a shortcut with the following in the target field including quotes and references to both exes:. "C:\3DXChat\ReviveInjector_x64.exe" "C:\3DXChat\3DXChat.exe" The path should be whatever your 3DXChat path is. This is also where you copied the Revive injector. 7. Start Steam VR and make sure Asynchronous Reprojection is disabled. Interleaved Reprojection and Always On Reprojection should be enabled for best performance. 8. Start up 3DXChat with the shortcut created in step #6. 9. Log in with your character, goto settings, and under the "Game" tab check OculusVR and press apply. 10. Put on your Vive headset and you should now see 3DXChat in VR! Do note that this game does not work with Vive motion controls nor with the Oculus Touch. You can use an Xbox One controller or Mouse + KB just like monitor mode. I haven't tried the Xbox One controller yet, and have used a Mouse + KB so far and I am satisfied. 11. You can change your view to first person by going to the "Take a snapshot" menu. You can also optionally enable a flying camera here too if you prefer.

  6. Hi, I am new here, not yet got 3dxchat as I have been watching for some time awaiting oculus rift support? It appears there is now a patch 362# that apparently supports oculus rift CV1? but this is not on the 3dxChat website, it only says DK1 support? I have scoured the forum, but there doesn't appear to be any talk about the oculus patch? Can anyone tell me if Oculus CV1 is supported? Anyone tried it? Thanks in advance.
  7. Something I've been pondering for some time now: What do you think, will games like 3DX change the way we have sex in real life and if yes, how? Coming from a very techy background, I'm early adopter for many things and one of the reasons I originally stumbled into 3dxchat was its support for the (now obsolete) Oculus Rift DK1. Was not too impressed then, but that's another story. In general, VR brings "immersive" to a new meaning, particularly for sex games, I'd say. With social VR platforms like AltspaceVR (that have nothing to do with sex ... yet) already attracting lots of people, I am wondering what others think about this trend. Can you imagine putting on VR equipment and have "fully immersive" virtual sex that eventually - maybe - completely replaces real sex (let's forget reproduction for a second)? Compared to real sex, what I fundamentally miss for example is "the feel of body heat", not to speak of those (yet) missing devices that stimulate the interesting spots Many of you have been playing games like 3dx and others for a long time, so I am curious about your ideas.
  8. Hello there. I'm interested to get a Vstroker. Question is, is the penis thrust speed the same as my thrust to the stroker? and when i stop, does the sex animation also pause? IN addition. Is Oculus VR First person view?
  9. This is a little workaround if you're feeling ambitious, To start you'll need an android phone, it may be possible with an iPhone but I don't intend to look into it. Disclaimer: I've only tried this with the Note 4, and it works flawlessly. The Note 4 has very high specs and I can't be sure how much this matters. Moving on.. If you haven't already heard of Google cardboard, you should well...google it. It's a very inexpensive way to experience VR and it uses the same concept as the Oculus Rift. You'll need to purchase a pair of cardboard goggles, and like I said they're around $15, just make sure you get the right size for your phone. Next you'll need an app called Splashtop (hint to the devs) this is a really cool screen sharing app that lets you view your current computer screen from your phone. You should be able to figure the rest out from here, there's some weird quirks with going into the oculus rift mode, but hey this isn't exactly supported. All in all I think you'll find it was $15 well spent. If you have any questions I may be able to get to it, but I'm not that active on the forums so I hope someone will help you. Make sure you post your experience so we can know how well it works on other phones.
  10. With the release today of the Oculus PC SDK 0.8.0.0 Beta, I'd like to check in to see how re-implementation of Rift functionality is coming along. Any news when we can expect this to work properly with the new SDK? I'd also like to suggest a firstperson POV for use with VR as well. It would be nice. Cheers.
  11. I'd like to know whether there are plans to implement first person camera mode into the game? I would really love to couple the beautiful game aesthetics and game play with the incredibly immersive Oculus VR experience. I believe this would make anyone feel like they're actually there, taking the role of the user-generated avatar.
