  1. can we help develop the game? the work done by the developers is great, but the game could be better still evolving. clothes, construction, character creation, dances, musical instruments.......... thank you. @Gizmo
  2. The ideal thing in relation to the tattoo would be to be able to put only one tattoo for each part, because when you choose to put a tattoo on a part it puts directly a predefined base as on the example below because the problem of the complete tattoos like that is that sometimes the tattoo takes a big part whereas we would just like to add one discrete or even one which we like in a place which we want.
  3. Ello, it's been a while. I came back to 3DX the other day after a break of a couple of years and wanted to give some feedback. I think you have done some wonderful things and worked very hard and a big thankyou is in order. You finally (after years and years of asking) gave us MMM threeways, tattoos and a kick function from rooms which was very needed. So thankyou. Thankyou also for the rings on all fingers, the devil and angel wings, tails, table pose command, fireworks and great new building textures. In fact there have been so many great new improvements you've been working hard on I can't really remember them all. But I think the MMM threeway poses and the tattoos are the ones I personally appreciate the most. It's obvious that you do listen to the players and try your best to give them what they want and make the game better for them, so well done and thankyou. Can I please put in a wishlist for a few more things, two of which were asked for at least as long as the tattoos were but are still not in the game and would be a much-welcomed addition. One is male body hair - anything which gives visual variation between player characters is a good thing for players and male body hair is one thing which definitely needs to be in the game. Hopefully it would be arms as well as chest at the very least, if not also legs, but just chest hair alone would be a great start, with a choice of several formations similar to how pubic hair and beards work. The other asked for a very long time ago is piercings, they have these in other similar games and they are very good to create a unique look with (for both sexes), both body and facial piercings are great. Facial ones include eyebrows (both barbell-studs and rings), nose (rings and spikes and bars) and possibly also in the top of the nose between the eyes as well as the bottom of the nose, and ear you already have sorted-out from what I saw with all the new ear rings. Body piercings could maybe be a bit trickier where genitals are concerned with the sex animations I have no idea, but things like penis and vagina piercings, if possible, would appeal to a vast amount of players, similar to how the tattoos appealed to many many players judging by how many I have seen wearing them since I came back into the game. If not genital piercings, certainly nipple piercings anyway, both rings and barbells. But my top suggestion would be at least facial piercings so a player could create a unique look no matter what they were doing in the game. Another which was asked for a long while back is to have the male body sliders have a bigger size scope so that players can make a better variety of characters. If the sliders were able to make things bigger, you could make things like chubby guys, pot bellies, huge bodybuilder arms and so on. It has always been the case that the male avatars in 3DX Chat tended towards the thinner side, you can make them scrawny and thin with no trouble, but they do not go big enough on the other end of the scale. I have always had my avatar at the largest chest and arms setting available and he only ever looks fit and slightly chunky, never large. Same as you can make a female avatar's breasts massive, it would be nice to be able to make parts of the male avatars body's overly large too, this way you could customize different separate parts of the body to create a unique look. 'Dad-bod' would I'm sure be appreciated for one (not by me but many others would want that option for RP) where the stomach came out in a pot belly and the avatar looked a little unfit and out of shape with age or bad lifestyle. If all sliders were increased a bit, you could even make the entire male avatar chubby/fat. Some people are 'chubby-chasers' and find fat people a sexual turn-on. Again, not myself, but many others are. All it would take is altering the code for the various body sliders to make them go larger, it should not make much of a difference to the animations. One new thing I would like to suggest which I have thought about only since you have introduced the devil wings (which are wonderful, well-done), is an authentic devil tail, one of those with the arrow on the end. Currently if a player wishes to play an authentic devil character they must use the existing tail (which is a tiger tail or similar) and it doesn't look quite right, though closer than no tail at all. But a traditional devil's tail with the pointy arrow at the end of it (similar or same thickness and length to the tiger tail which exists now would be fine) would make a devil outfit look complete. On the downside (yes there is one) I see that after all this time there is still not much of a choice for male avatar tops which is very disappointing. While the female list of clothing has grown and grown, the male list of tops looks very similar to how it did when the game started. Can I please suggest the ability to place patterns on shirts (not a print like on the t-shirts, but a pattern which covers the entire item) such as checks, spots, other repeating patterns, etc, so that coupled with the colour picker (2 colour layers, one for the base, one for the print) it would enable one single shirt to become hundreds of others, and again, enable a player to be unique from the others which is always a good thing and players love and appreciate it. It would mean that you didn't have to add loads of new meshes for male tops with different collars and sleeve lengths but those that did exist could be expanded. Personally, it would be really nice to have a check shirt, sometimes I wear them in RL as do many gay guys. You could then give this clothing pattern feature to the girls as well and everyone would be very happy. Anyway, thankyou again for all the new improvements, they are wonderful, especially the tattoos, MMM poses, finger rings and room kick function. You have worked really hard and listened to players and put things in which people wanted and it is really appreciated. I really was so impressed and happy that I felt the need to come back here and let you know personally. Cheers Gizmo.
  4. Hello dear community and @Gizmo and @Lisa So my proposition that will benefit Game and provide players more fun is to make sliders for the clothes we currently have Lemme explain what i mean ..So i was working on my animations i do outside of this game and i started creating shape keys on some clothes for the characters to either change the look of the clothes or even animate them ..then i thought that it would be cool if we were able to do the same inside game .. My idea isnt only for the character editor my idea goes a lil beyond we could have the slider on our UI to change cloth appearance while playing without the need go back to the editor . Below ill provide a example of what i did so u understand what i mean and the possibilities imagine ur in a party inside game or somewhere u click the slider and ur cloth change appearance depending the shape keys have been created for specific cloth and for every cloth we currently have . it will create many variables and make game even more excited with lots of roleplay also potential imagine u move the slider and pants go down up etc imagine ur dress same ..infinite possibilities well this is my idea hope you like it Clothes_proposition.mp4
  5. << Adri’s List >> This post is intended to be a pile-up of all suggestions that I consider to be most relevant. The discussion on the forum seems to be cycled and without any response from the development team. Take this as an attempt to change it. Pictures are attached at the end of the post and are also accessible through hyperlinks. Please do NOT use quote function for this post! < General Issues > 1.1 Room Optimalisation Although this problem can be somewhat explained by misuse of reflective objects and lighting, the fact is that rooms bigger than circa 1 MB in size lag. While the long loading time is only an inconvenience, crashes and lags are the serious issues here. I think that rooms should be tinkered a bit better; it will untie hands of creators and enrich the game for the rest of the community. -> Improve the room stability 1.2 Lighting Effects This one is probably a mixed bag of problems, with certain items in the game being displayed differently in the avatar editor and in the game. Turning the avatar around doesn’t help. Sometimes similar pieces of clothing are mismatched, despite being painted in the very same colour. -> Strive to match item colours, especially if they are likely to be used together -> Add adjustable light to the avatar editor 1.3 Communication The communication of the devs could be very well described as a deafening silence. I am not saying that all wishes of the community go unanswered, but I feel that there is really a lot to improve in this area. Even small tidbits in the forum here and there, reflecting on some interesting ideas or posting some updates/remarks/short commentaries on the development might do wonders. -> Improve the communication with the community and make sure to reach out regularly < Profile Management & Text > 2.1 Profile Status This could make the communication much easier. It would help you to navigate through rooms full of people who are AFK and ultimately made it easier for all to mingle. I suggest four options that could be ticked in your profile: Looking For Company, Online, Away and Busy. All of those can also alter the colour of avatar’s nickname OR display before the nickname as is well known from some other games. Additional functionalities might be implemented later, like list of people looking for company displayed at the edge of the screen (of course optional and editable in the settings) or saving messages in AFK mode in case your game crashes or you end it so that you can go through them during the next launch. -> Add statuses to our profiles 2.2 Gift Preview & Gift Text Editor It happens way too often that one screws up the colours, text width or cursive. The gift message gets buggy if it’s longer and does not show you that the character limit has been reached. I believe we should get an easy text editor, similar to what we have on the forums, but simpler. Even a basic text setting will still be a significant improve. -> Add a preview button for the gift message -> Add a simple gift message text editor -> Set a clear character limit for the gift message 2.3 Profile Text Editor Speaks for itself. I believe that it would encourage people to put a bit more work into their empty profiles. Text also gets buggy if it’s longer. -> Add a simple profile text editor -> Set a clear character limit for the profile 2.4 More Text Colours For The Chat It would surely enrich the roleplay scene if you could use more colours in the text box. More commands might also come handy for the room owners. Things like /i for a text without the nickname or /all for the announcer in the room, possibly highlighted. The community will likely come up with more useful commands. I also think that it would be great if the chat was somewhat smarter and allowed some obvious command fuck ups like /Me and /em instead of /me to be still counted as the correct command. Another great function for the chat would be would be a pop up box with the list of all those commands so that if you pick one, it will keep using it untill you change it again. -> Add more commands for the chat -> Improve the chat „intelligence“ / add text colour pop up menu < Customisation > 3.1 All Items Colourable It was present in the .dll. We already got some colouring extension for the old items. But we need more and especially new stuff should be made with colouring in mind. I would just like to state here that I am not complaining about the new stuff. I think it’s great – but it needs to be tinkered colourwise. -> Add colours to the old clothes and create the new clothes with as many options as possible 3.2 Cock Control Penises in the game have two issues and are both related to size – ironically in total opposition to the issues males are usually dealing with. The penises are way too big. They are big both in the relation to real life ( as @Ross the RoberT nicely put it: „anything bigger would be a horsecock“ ) and they are always erect, which is silly. Now the edit might result in complications in poses, especially with the handjob, but I think the huge size of it still allows for some tinkering and/or rework of those potentially faulty animations. The erection slider will be a tougher nut to crack, but I believe in the developers. Another option would be to add more foreplay poses with the „flaccid“ cock. The last lying pose has this and even though it looks like a snake that’s about to attack you, I still prefer it over the omnipresent boner. -> Add a penis size slider in the profile editor -> Add option to have a flaccid penis / Add more foreplay poses with flaccid penis 3.3 Male Clothes Male wardrobe in this game is just plain out pathetic. Men deserve things like socks, ties, bow-ties, more suits, more shirts and the list goes on and on. Male avatars are severely restricted and it’s a shame, for it gets repetitive over time to see them running around in same clothes. They don’t need more RP clothing at the moment! It can substituted by normal clothes to a certain degree... Which they don’t have. If the community is heavily focused on female stuff (be it clothing or tattooes), I would expect devs to focus on men. They don’t need that much stuff. Even few well-designed items can make a huge difference. -> Extend the male wardrobe with some universal items 3.4 Editors Any game that allows modder community to grow, shines. The biggest flaw of the 3DXChat is in my humble opinion the lack of customisation. The more you can do, the more immersive the experience feels. -> Release clothes editor -> Release pose editor < Motion & Animations > 4.1 New Ways Of Moving The game should allow us to do more than just walk and run (and swim). Crawling on all four, walking hand in hand with another avatar, being carried princess style (similarly to the upcoming pose) and walking with the heels on the ground for female avatars would all be welcomed additions for sure. -> Add more ways of moving for avatars -> Add interactive ways of moving (leading someone, carrying someone) 4.2 Roleplay poses Basic roleplay poses like kneeling are missing in the game. This can be partially fixed by allowing us to modify objects to play some animations when the avatar gets attached to it – similarly to the ghost mode. -> Add basic roleplay poses 4.3 Group dance Interactivity is fun. I have noticed that many people in the game like to dance together and coordinate themselves. Even though it’s not within realm of my interests and I haven’t seen it posted anywhere, I believe that group dancing could be a big deal for many players. Another thing that is missing are couple dances. You see so many people paired on the dance floor and all are just standing there. You don’t need too many. One or two would suffice (possibly romantic slow dance and something exciting). -> Add group dance -> Add couple dance < Avatar Interaction & UI > 5.1 Response Settings From what I have read in many profiles, a significant part of the community hates that it’s possible to bother people with unwanted kissing, hugging and cold requests. I suggest to add tickable settings boxes that will solve this and keep the unwanted attention away. Similarly to this, only on the other side, stands the option to accept everything from your partner(s). The necessity to accept pose can be a bit off putting in the middle of something steamy. A tickable box is again a very simple solution. (Credits for the picture: @CTEPBA ) -> Add a permission for strangers to kiss and hugs tick on/off box -> Add an option to limit partner offers to friends -> Add a permission to accept any pose suggested by a partner tick on/off box 5.2 Clothes On Option Allow us to have a tickable box where we will decide if we want our clothes to be removed or whether we want to do it ourselves. It’s silly that you automatically undress if you want to give someone a blowjob for instance. -> Add a clothes on during sex tick on/off box 5.3 Rework The Object Occupation This is such an annoying thing – if your partner is on the couch and you want to join him/her, he/she needs to stand up first... Why? -> If the person using an object is your partner, allow the pose selection to be popped up 5.4 UI Tinkering The UI sometimes feels a bit weird. Especially when it comes to the in-game screen. The dance box is a mess. The dances are mismatched; slow dance is next to fast dance and there is no preview or indication of what are you going to do on the dance floor. -> Rework dance UI << Additional Notes >> A ) Please do NOT use quote function to react. I‘ve noticed that this is frequent sin on the forums and it makes the thread unreadable (especially with a long post like this). A rule of a thumb is that you don’t quote recently made posts. If you want to react, use @ and the nickname or type the part that is relevant - everyone knows how to scroll up and see it for themselves. B ) This is not meant to trash talk the developers. I acknowledge that they are working hard on many things and I think that in many areas they are doing well, but they could do better in many others. C ) It would be lovely to hear the community response, but even more so, I would appreciate if the developers could make a comment on this post. D ) Please try to keep it short and factual. This post serves as a pile up of many suggestions. Try to approach the subject broadly. If there is anything you want to discuss in greater detail, I suggest that you should start your own thread in case the thread is not active somewhere already. E ) Rome wasn't built in a day. Don’t take this as a cry demanding all of this to be implemented in the next patch. The post is intended to push the developers towards mentioned matters.
  6. I know this type of topic has been posted numerous amount of times, to which I have seen of late when catching up with the forum and such and I read a post in the Upcoming Updates discussion topic about how the community can find ways to improve the game that which will also improve the population of the game. So I am about to write a long post about the history of 3DXChat the best I can to my knowledge to try and see how the games development cycle has gone since Alpha/Beta and where things went wrong and how us, the community can improve the future development of the game. So, without waffling on, some important times of the games history may be missing to which please let me know of them in the replies. 3DXChat has been around now since 2012/2013 a long time and the graphics do indeed still keep up to date with todays average atleast in the adult gaming world. The only thing that has let the game down is the small development team, as well as the major Unity engine version changes (It tends to break a lot of stuff 90% of the time.) this often means new updates will take longer than normal to release as well as be developed, this has been the case for awhile, almost since the game first released all those years ago in Alpha/Beta. We're now on 3DXChat 2.6. and if we look at some of the history of the game we can see where things were good, and were not so good and how can we improve: 3DXChat Beta: 3DXChat was in Beta, during the time of 2013-2014, where they were releasing new locations every other month and updating weekly, such as Sin Club which was renamed from BDSM Club, and other locations were incorporated and User rooms were developed for people to open up their own room and have a basic room editor. This was when the game left Alpha and became Beta. 3DXChat 1.0: The road leading up to 1.0 was a long one, a lot of clothes and animations were being released every other week, revamping previously developed locations in Beta. 3DXChat left Beta and started to become 1.0 I'd say around the time they introduced the revamped Love Island back in 2014.This incorporated new lighting shaders, better stability of the location. And 1.0 coming out officially when they redesigned the Room editor, with new tools such as the photo tool and released a ton of new objects and radio support in the room editor for custom URLs, colour palette, the improved text chat and brought out the new dark GUI and advanced GUI functionality, as well as advanced profiles which is almost what the Dark GUI is today, of course it has been improved up on since, with many improvements still neccessary before it's the perfect GUI for the game. 3DXChat 2.0 Beta: The lead up to the release of the 3DXChat Beta 2.0 would mainly come in the new location Fresco Club, which is based off of the Dot ConneXion club that was in the original Watch Dogs game. This brought new lighting, better attention to detail of the buildings infrastructure and the multiple level capabilities in the game. This was the start of the games update cycle to 2.0 which was also shown to be an April fools joke before it got confirmed by Lisa. But also the start of the sad decline of players in the 3DXChat world because it had taken a long time before the 2.0 Beta had released from the original announcement ~2 months. Now, 2.0 Beta has been announced and a new client is released, a new major version of the game, which incorporates a major engine upgrade of Unity from version 4 - 5, which brings a ton of new upgrades, but what exactly? Mainly visually. Such as a better water shader, new graphics options, better lighting, time of day for locations and user rooms, as well as a new location the "Saloon". This was when the world population was starting to decrease because a lot of these updates were not what people wanted and were mainly fixes for the jump from Unity 4-5 with the 2.0 version. This then leads up to the official 2.0 Release. 3DXChat 2.0: During the official 2.0 client and release, there wasn't anything major that happened during this cycle as it was still being seen as the 3DXChat 2.0 Beta, but the update that I feel was the defining one for the 2.0 release was the Patch#344 update, which brought a few visual things to the game and the following patches after that to Patch#350 were better improvements to the game such as Offline Messaging. Then came the rush of new content for a short time, of a few months, a lot of poses were added for all orientations, granted the FF/MM animations were copied from the M/F to work with FF/MM users. Then led up to the 2.5 Beta or as I like to call the VR Update. 3DXChat 2.5 Beta VR: 3DXChat 2.5 released in the form of Patch#362 this was in April 2017. This brought VR support to 3DXChat, as well as new prints for clothes, new clothes in general and new animations and a Unity Engine update to version 5.5. It wasn't per-say a "Major" update as it brought on the VR capabilities in the game, new character editor room "The Loft", new props for the home editor. This "major" patch was heavily focused on the VR aspect as VR is becoming a more used technology now that you are able to buy an Oculus Rift for $349 which is a significant price drop to what it started out as in the original CS1 version. This version also brought in a different type of print style to clothes which was heavily influenced by the print style modders had managed to incoporate into the game prior to this. The game stagnated on this version for longer than it should have and was one of the big causes for population loss because the updates became far apart as if the developers may have gotten a bit burned out with the reiteration of the games Major versions/releases in a space of 1-2 years. And working on technology that took a lot of time that not many people use such as the VR. This led up to the new version of 3DXChat or as I call the World Editor Update. 3DXChat World Editor Update: This version isn't necessarily a numbered version, but the size and complexity of this update, puts it as an independent major version in itself. So for years, players of 3DXChat wanted to be free from the hard restraints we had in the previous versions of the games Room Editor. This was bypassed by modders for a long period of time to give players true freedom and not building to restrictions to be able to let their creativity flow and be put to work. This had brought on some amazing creations players had made from this, despite there being a lack of objects and materials to work with, but they did what they could do with what they were given and we got some amazing builds, some were absolutely ginormous! But this came at a cost, and had a significant performance impact on the game, which caused developers to put in restrictions on lights etc. Which were bypassed, but it was at your own discretion. This also had caused some serious troubles serverside, causing the server to crash at some points when rooms had reached a certain limit. As the build limit was removed. The developers used this opportunity to create the World Editor, which was probably the biggest update 3DXChat had received in years, and had revolutionized the game for many players. This attracted a lot of players and had caused a sharp increase in player population, this had been the boon 3DXChat needed. And there were many people playing, just by seeing the numbers in the Room List (Actual numbers aren't available sadly) this had gave the players the ultimate ability to create the room of their imagination and to truly put their creativity to the test. This had given the game a breath of new life and even though it steered it away a bit more from the "Sex Game" genre, it still brought a lot of people in to try out and play. But of course, as good as this update was, it caused the game to lack in other areas for a long period of time since it released, such as clothes, sex poses and just bug fixes in general. Now we lead up to 3DXChat 2.6 present day. 3DXChat 2.6 Beta: The 3DXChat 2.6 Beta came 1 year after the World Editor update in the form of a new Test server on Patch#376 this was an odd step for the developers to do as it essentially made a version of the game free for a short time albeit limited with some of the features and all data in the Beta was deleted. This was mainly to test the new game server and put it through it's paces, to stress test essentially and to report any bugs you find. This was mainly to incorporate the higher usage of server resources with the world editor bringing a lot more complexity to the processing of the game with the custom geometry data and the unlimited size the world can be, this of course put heavy stress on the server, which most likely was an old specc'd server from years prior and needed a fresh new upgrade on the hardware. This update brought a lot of significant updates to the world editor such as the Landscape tool and a ton of animations. This was the largest update the game had received since the editor itself was released. A ton of new animatons for people to play with and new landscape presets etc. This filled the void for a lot of content in the game that was missing during the year run up to this update, but it feels like a last minute update for animations to fill in for animations that people have asked for, for months. Then this leads up to the 2.6 official release. 3DXChat 2.6: The present day version of 2.6 was released based on feedback players had given to the developers during the test server beta test. This finalised the release of 2.6 with some bug fixes that were present in the 2.6 Beta and also upgraded the servers API, which means improved performance and stability. A lot of changes were reverted back to past updates due to various reasons I presume, GDPR probably being one of them. Some of these features were not welcomed much such as the namechange and sex change options. But some great QoL improvements were released, such as the improved Members Area, which shows your current subscription days left etc. Which is very much a welcomed feature. Now begs the question.. Where do we go from here? What will 3DXChat 2.7 bring us, or 3.0 if they decide to skip a few versions? What can be done to help the 3DXChat world improve and suceed further than it already has, as I have recently returned and I have done a lot of analysis of the games development since I left, and it's just... Not there? So what can be done, how can it be done? What does 3DXChat need more than anything else? Feedback is of course welcome! And I will add my own two cents on where it can go from here and how it can improve, from my own opinion in bullet points: Improved 64Bit client: As 32Bit OS's are becoming obsolete and eventually won't exist anymore. This will already bring a ton of improvements, mainly for RAM handling, to alllow the game to not be as restricted by the 3.5-4GB RAM limit of a 32Bit application. Especially as GPU vendors such as Nvidia and AMD have dropped 32Bit support on their GPUs for windows.New world editor tools: Such as Splines, Custom Landmass (Will be unlikely due to the processing power required when building and configuring).Improved Character editor: To incorporate additional features, such as different skin textures, face presets, body presets, accessories such as piercings.Improved animation rigging: Adding additional bones to the model to allow for higher quality animations, with a longer Frame cycle to allow for a smoother animated experience.Sound presets: To allow variations with sound in the game, such as voices for moans, sounds for sex itself.Redundant network infrastructure: So if a server node goes down, SSD dies, Server Crashes, PSU Explodes etc. The system automatically assigns the game server to another machine, to avoid the game being down and instead you get a slight hiccup. As I see the 3DX Forum has some major troubles with being up recently with host timeouts.Budgeting: Budget your game income to each area of the development team, if something is lacking, and no time is available to fulfill it or it is too much work to handle amongst other things, perhaps outsource some of the work of X to freelancers/contractors to fulfill that area for the next update cycle. Do not be ashamed to admit if an update or feature is too complicated to implement, outsource it to those whose specialty it is in that area of development.Improved security: This is a big one especially as GDPR is a thing now in the EU, if security is lacking, it can cause multiple breaches of GDPR and cause some serious troubles, one of which was a program people often used to find in game details of said people which breached the GDPR law. Always budget 20% per year of your game income to upkeep/security, to keep the infrastructure secure and running smooth.Improved Communication: This has always been a long term problem in 3DX, that there is often a lack of communication between the community and SexGameDevil, explore different avenues to improve communication between yourselves and the community and stick to it. This is a crucial stage in any type of development is consumer feedback. As at the end of it, they are the ones who will be receiving the updates.Improved Forum: There's already a topic about this with some extremely solid points in, that could improve the forum a ton. The forum needs reworking, perhaps set it up on a new, more powerful machine and have the current forum in an archived URL, where people can still go to get any old stuff they posted etc. And have the new forum, fresh and all members accounts transferred over, to start a fresh and avoid hitting a soft limit of content on the forum, causing the server it's on to begin to struggle and often crash. Closing words: So I hope this post was informative for you all. Sorry to have waffled on with it, but I have been analysing a lot of the forum recently and the development cycle since being back and have found many troubles with some things both with the game and the forum there is a lot of work, and hopefully with some serious feedback and solid discussion about how the game is currently, that SexGameDevil know where to go next with their project to keep improving up on it and making it overall a great experience and world to be a part of.
  7. Hi everyone, After having survived several updates, I think I have a reasonable understanding of how this game evolves. To start with: I love it, I enjoy it every day and I adore its beautiful graphics ! But... I think development team is very limited (1 or 2 persons), they do a tremendous job but unfortunately, being just a few, development goes terribly slow. So that's when cheap or half solutions are sneaking in... * The game is definitely being made by white folks, the asian or african variant of an avatar is just a change in colour, faces are identical, hairstyles are the same... not cool at all ! * Male avatars have clearly never been a priority: they are rather ugly, especially the faces * Clothing is added so rarely that when it is done, everyone dresses the same (new) way for weeks * Apartments are nice, but boring after a while with little or no possibility to give it a personal look (f.i. hang personal pics on a wall, use your own textures). The result is a growing community of tweaking/cheating designers that try to design something more personalized, with the known effect of some rooms being terribly lagging if the designer wasn't careful or experienced. So I'm asking myself a few questions... * first of all: is this game still worth its money ? mmmmmm, at 20 $ * 12 = 240 $/year, it's not cheap ! And yes, I know I can get a discount when subscribing in December, but that's not the point. * second: wouldn't it be great to let those designer enthusiasts help/assist development, even if it means that some designs will probably be bad at first ? That way it would be possible to add some new clothing, apartments etc. with perhaps refreshing new styles more frequently... I think I'll put my gameplay on hold a little, after all... even the most beautiful sunrise at the most beautiful beach gets boring if nothing happens Layla
  8. Small to medium-small size breasts on ladies look great but any larger size breasts begin to look like breast implants to me. I think having a breast type selection with a more realistic look would be nice. I know, another suggestion to a list of thousands. Just wanted to add another 2 cents to the pile....
  9. Dear Developers, I'd like to explain to you a chance to make a 180° degree turn, reclaim lost customers as well as entice new one's. When you’re paying for a service month-to-month and it’s not creating any new content (for a while), communication is crucial. You need to keep your customers engaged and this where an unique opportunity for you opens, with the coming update you have the unique opportunity to make a brand new beginning. The community simply loves to feel informed, ETA's for updates would surely be no harm as well as a more active dialogue with the community, I can understand that there is much frustration just as certain trolls looming around but I think I can speak for the vast majority when I say there are also people who offer some well thought out constructive criticism that any business manager would be foolish to ignore. During that process I am sure it would be a very mature gesture to thank the community for their perpetual patience with more than just words. For instance both - An XGold Compensation (Like you have done before) - A voucher/coupon for former subscribers as well as existing one's to redeem for let's say a 5 % discount on their next subscription because you are so confident in the new content and mindset that it will surely keep us staying entertained much past that. As Ash and others suggested on forum, maybe even a buy 1 sub, get 1 free special limited time offer during special yearly events ( Would have been perfect for Valentine's day, wouldn't it for example you and your partner? ) This will also be helpful for the times during the non prepaid game card availability issue at the moment as some can only purchase subscriptions with paypal and services like that, that only the pre-paid cards supported. Furthermore, it still is new content that keeps us coming back for more and while some might lose themselves in endless debates in which direction this game is supposed to sway, we all desire more, for the incurably romantics, the social butterflies as well as those driven by desire and carnal experiences. Some might want new poses, others clothes, I personally would love a fresh new location very much! Of course it is a straining task for existing content creators so why not give others a compelling reason to join the team? The startup screen sounds like the perfect fit for an advertisement to hire more qualified personnel for the project. I strongly believe there is plenty here, some might just not be aware of the topics hidden in the maze of our forum. Just put it out there and see what comes about with it, surely there is no harm in displaying activity and more importantly, the will to change and improve, after all, we all want the game to thrive That being said I would like to propose a new way to compensate our passionate designer and that is via community donations, I am not very versed on that field so feel free to interpose thoughts at any time, it's much appreciated. Of course that does not seem like an ideal scenario for many but it is a start that might just set things in motion, the donations would obviously go to those freelancing designers dedicating their time, energy and passion to create a more flourishing experience for all of us and it would be purely optional, just imagine everyone on here would donate 1 $. I've been in talks with Ash and others and he even suggested a perk system to fulfill certain wishes and projects the community could suggest or perhaps even vote for, similar to what FrenchTouch did on her forum posts. The bottom line is, I strongly believe that our free working designers deserve a proper compensation and in the interest of a growing game, opportunities to get paid would only facilitate the process. Details aren't ironed out yet as it is still in the talking/suggesting stages and I suppose there could be a third person installed from the SexGameDevil development team to collect said funds and pay them out in the spirit of preserving anonymity to the highest possible degree, I know many of you, including myself cherish that very much. Thanks for reading and all the input PS : A special thanks to Ash for the brainstorming
  10. With the release today of the Oculus PC SDK 0.8.0.0 Beta, I'd like to check in to see how re-implementation of Rift functionality is coming along. Any news when we can expect this to work properly with the new SDK? I'd also like to suggest a firstperson POV for use with VR as well. It would be nice. Cheers.
  11. Hello 3DXChat Community! So as pointed out before I am working with the Developers to post patch notes, and upcoming development for 3DXChat. This will be the topic for that. So check back at this topic and info should be updated here accordingly but the big patch notes will still be posted on the Log In screen in future like normal and here. Regards MrAsh
  12. Hello everyone MrAsh here! This thread is to let you all know the Developers have asked me to take 3 questions a week that you all have for the developers and I will forward them on to the developers directly and they will answer them to basically link the bridge between Developers and the Community on development and other things rather than leaving you all in the dark so I am going to be helping them with this to get your questions answered! The rules of the topic: 1) Users have to send their questions via email to 3dxfaq@gmail.com 2) I will choose the 3 best questions per week and send it to developers 3) Developers answer these questions 4) I will publish answers from developers weekly in this thread So get those questions sent in and I will choose the best ones for the Developers to answer! Also all questions will be sent to the developers every Monday 12am UK Time, so all questions need to be sent in by then and the developers will answer them that Monday and then the questions will open again for the following Monday, so if your question didn't get answered but you want it to be answered resend it. Kind Regards Ash
  13. So I decided to make a little graph (bored) as to see the updates we've been getting in a more visual structure. This is just how many times we've received content this year (client updates with content). This data was taken from their update page and of course has varying degrees on what is in each. Ranging from 1 piece of clothing to the rare (7 pose update) I merged an incorrect date into September (October 30th 2014 is not here yet! ). I am also leaving out user created content for obvious reasons. Since those were made by our awesome community and are not taking our money. If they are then sure, I can make one with them added. Cheers. What do you think is reasonable as a community? In the 8 to 10 range, 20+?! (Purple bar)? Discuss it here! UPDATED: 11/7/2014 Added female/male focused content. If content was released for a specific gender it was counted. (mm/ff poses. Female/male only clothes) Hetero poses and hats which aren't gender specific were not counted. This is purely for people looking at how much content was added for specific genders. I'll update this as time goes on with updated versions.
  14. Hello everyone, I hope all is going well for you. I am a long time forum lurker and a player for a few months. This is quite obviously my first post I must warn you my post will be lengthy, but I feel it is necessary to get some things off my chest. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been in the game industry for nearly ten years, working for two developers as well as working as a free lancer. Currently, I have started my own studio and recently was accepted into the Xbox One Developer's Program. My expertise is in the art department: modeling, texturing, rigging and animating. In my humble opinion, I am quite good at those four things. Because of the nature of this forum and the game it represents I will NOT disclose which companies/games I worked for/on nor will I disclose the name of my current company. I DO know what I am talking about people and I am not posting to cause problems or start fights. Instead I am posting this in the hopes that it will inspire the devs to step up their game. As developers you are charging players for access to a beta game. This is both good and bad. As a dev, when I think of early access, I think of two automatic requirements of my company: DAILY interaction with my player base (Facebook, Twitter, Twitch and the forums) and WEEKLY UPDATES and I mean every week. Your players are paying $20 a month for an incomplete game. You must be adding to and improving your product for your players. Personally I have paid more than the typical cost for a game in order to play your game and many other people have paid you far more. You guys CAN do better. You have a great product, however what you have will not last unless you do something bigger. I don't know how many people you have on your team, I know in many cases there are things that will take longer if you have a small team. Hire more people if you must. Use players who have a knack for 3d modeling like you have been. But don't reimburse them with your wacky in game credit. Give them a few months of gameplay for free. On the topic of user generated content....its great, but why are some of the only good updates to be released created by your users and not you? It's great that players have talent for creation but they shouldn't be doing your job for you. I guess what I am trying to say is that the issue is no longer just about game development but also how to properly handle the administrative side of the business. As I said before if you need more employees, hire them. If you don't have enough money, employ more players but reward them better than with in game currency. To the owners of the company, if you can't afford to properly progress this game perhaps you are paying yourselves to much money? I know that if my games progress is not where it needs to be and I need to take a pay cut to hire someone that can help, I would do it in a heartbeat. It is easy to sit back and take it easy when you have money coming in...maybe get a little lazy. I'm sure a lot of people here think that you guys aren't even working on anything new. Why would they think that? Well, you don't release updates on a regular basis and you don't tell people what you are working on. Post on Facebook, Twitter and here on the forums. Communicate with your player base and don't wait until the last minute to tell them, "Hey we haven't said anything in two weeks but we are about to release an update" Your players are your livelihood, don't take them for granted. In closing, I am sorry for the rant but you guys need a sort of reality check. If you don't improve your game will die. For as long as you have been working on this game you should have at least 10,000 active players, more locations, animations and sexual preferences (shemales and threesomes). You have a great basis for this adult social game, keep it going. If you don't, someone will see what you have done so far, take it and make it better. Someone will do it anyway but at least if you keep your loyal players, you will remain the standard for an adult social game. D1SC0STU
  15. The most voted will be handed to Admin. as the players suggestion. However, it does not mean it will always be done, as we do not know what it implies in development. I'm saying this before hand, so there is no complaining, it will serve as a mere suggestive players opinion for Admin So................... LETS VOTE PEOPLE!!!
