  1. so Illusion has some cool stuff out great games with a great modding community over at hongfire
  2. Same old same old. I like the game but I quit in December for lack of content, I hope they're working on getting content out faster. I'm not rejoining until I see it; for all those sticking it out I feel your pain, let's hope for the best.
  3. developers just need to start thinking like developers. for clothes use combinatorics, for example a shirt has a collar, sleeves, and a torso. if you made 2 kinds of collars 2 kinds of sleeves and 2 kinds of torsos you would have 2^3 or 8 possible shirts, and you just spent the same effort as you would spend on 2 shirts. if you had 3 of each you would have 3^3 or 27 possible shirts and so on. I'm leaving this post here because I let my membership expire, this is just a ditch effort to try and give the devs insight on how to get shit done. I still think the game is beautiful so I'll follow the progress until they figure things out, or a different game pops up.
  4. It's well established that the game needs a bit of everything, but if I was objectively prioritizing with limited dev resources I would create more social content, it doesn't have to be anything in particular, the game just needs to be something more than a glorified irc. Some simple features like random matching, profile messaging for keeping in touch long term, anything in that vein. Here's another thought that requires very little effort, use the updates feed to schedule bi-monthly orgies, if you feel inclined you can change the themes and locations. Better yet I would just give the community free reign on event planning. I think these things would serve to maintain a long term user base. To play devil's advocate, as a user I would have devs make me more clothes and sex poses while I prod them with my pitchfork.
  5. Good topic, and I guarantee that the price point has crossed their minds, they have to consider that they are losing profit on their long term users by lowering the price, however they may be able to convert more short term users into long term users by lowering the price. My thought is that the margin for profit doesn't warrant a price drop, they may end up making more money or they may not, the only thing that is guaranteed is that they will have a larger user base, which sounds great for us, but complicates things for them. For example imagine having 1000 users in one apartment. There could definitely be an increase of user generated content as well, but they are probably concerned about the risk of people reverse engineering the game and creating private servers etc... How to expand as a business is probably the root of their problems as well as ours.
  6. I skimmed this topic enough to become a complete expert, so in my expert opinion you shouldn't worry about these sticker whores; you should worry about the xgold economy being backed solely by booze and stickers. With my perfect 20/20 hind sight I can tell you that with the introduction of xgold transfers, the only feasable use of xgold was prostitution. I don't think prostitution should be discounted from a game like this, but should be reintroduced with more regulation and a fleshed out economy
  7. This is a little workaround if you're feeling ambitious, To start you'll need an android phone, it may be possible with an iPhone but I don't intend to look into it. Disclaimer: I've only tried this with the Note 4, and it works flawlessly. The Note 4 has very high specs and I can't be sure how much this matters. Moving on.. If you haven't already heard of Google cardboard, you should well...google it. It's a very inexpensive way to experience VR and it uses the same concept as the Oculus Rift. You'll need to purchase a pair of cardboard goggles, and like I said they're around $15, just make sure you get the right size for your phone. Next you'll need an app called Splashtop (hint to the devs) this is a really cool screen sharing app that lets you view your current computer screen from your phone. You should be able to figure the rest out from here, there's some weird quirks with going into the oculus rift mode, but hey this isn't exactly supported. All in all I think you'll find it was $15 well spent. If you have any questions I may be able to get to it, but I'm not that active on the forums so I hope someone will help you. Make sure you post your experience so we can know how well it works on other phones.
  8. I would like to see more engaging social activities, I'm not a fan of the whole 'start dancing and go afk' thing. I don't know if it's been mentioned yet but I think poker would be a great start, if you could bet your gold or even play strip poker, it also might be fun if you could anti up with sexual favors.
