    I dont know if it has been posted in this topic or not, but would be lovely with lighting settings for the dressing room, cause right now, the light thats there is a very warm white, which makes it hard to get the exact color you want, it looks very different from the dressing room compared to when you go out into other locations

    If you happen to have a g-sync monitor and have it set to work for windowed applications as well try turning that off, ive had quite a few games where g-sync caused my game to flicker

    F5 doesnt allow you to use fly camera anymore, other than that alot of the menus seem very blurry, along with quite a few things in the different locations, which looks like its cause of the vr integration, would be nice to be able to turn that off to get nice clean and sharp looking graphics back. EDIT: The yacht water is much greener than it used to be and the waves seem much bigger as well, could be intentional but personally the old version looked much better and way less buggy and blurry.

This months theme is: Sex How is the winner chosen you might ask, let me clarify: There is a panel of 4 judges that rotate every few months, making sure that things are kept as fair as possible.     Voting has been better explained in the february contest topic, it was the same for January but if you dont understand how its done id recommend heading over to the new thread to have a look. Likes were taken out since its much less fair than the new system, which still isnt perfect, but atleast its better

    From my experience it doesnt always work right away, when i tested it i sometimes needed to relog before it worked as intended.

    Whats art to some might not be to others, judges vote from what in their opinion looks the best to their eye, AHT's picture is amazing yes, but the people who voted found others that fit their taste better, there is no right or wrong vote, if we were consider everything we would need to be professionals which none of us are. Not everyone can win, there will always be pictures that deserved more, but thats just how it is, which is why i think people should enter this competition just to share their work, have it seen by more people than might see it if they posted it elsewhere. As for edit to pictures in the unedited category, the main topic states that cropping, light adjustments and so on is fine since it doesn't really change the picture itself, which is why its allowed. And what you said about changing eye color, that doesn't count as a minor edit.

    Could simply be an option when you create it if you want it to link to your other characters or not, it would say its an alt regardless though, either by like, different colored name, or a tag in the name like [Alt] which would of course be shown in the profile.

    My idea would be to make it so there are 2 kinda of characters, main characters that take the 10k gold to make and then alt characters that dont cost much, maybe 1-2k or something like that, the thing about alt characters would be that in the profile or in the name it would show clearly to everyone that interacts with it that is an alt and not the main character they play, ontop of that it could possibly even show who it is an alt of. To me that would make things such as rp characters and such much more common and fun since they dont cost much and it doesnt matter if people know its connected to your account. And it would still allow people to make characters that are completly disconnected from their other characters if they so choose. Just my idea, im sure it can be refined much more.

    You are correct, judges arent getting anything for what they do, neither do i. From next month and forward likes wont have any effect anymore, it will be done as i described earlier, might take a day more to get out but thats how it goes. and ontop of that ive already gotten a few people interested in replacing a few of the current judges which is nice so there can be some rotation every few months.

    Its hard to replace the likes, like what would the alternative be, a dice roll? that would just make it all seem a little weird if you ask me. But i suppose if there is a tie in some way i could send the pictures that are tied back to the judges and they could vote once more between however many there is tied. Would probably make it take another day or so to get the results out but thats not too bad. Also to whoever that might read this and want to help out by being a judge, please do pm me here on the forums. Its been two months since the last judge change, but i have had a hard time trying to find new ones.

    But that still takes away some of the fun does it not? I mean no one but me and judges can actually see everyones pictures, now i dont know how everyone feels about that but if i was entering in the competition id like for others to see my picture even if i did not win. Of course could open the album of pictures to everyone after the votes have been counted

    To the taste of the individual judge really, they like different things which often shows in the votes i see, so you will have to take my word on that one. When there is a theme then of course they vote for the pictures that fit the theme really well which it can in several ways(Clothing, text, how its taken ingame, edits in photoshop or whatever else you can use to edit pictures) Unqiue photos do have a tendency to gather votes above others, thinking outside the box always helps to stand out. And above all else... Remember this was created as a way to have fun with creating these photos to show off to other people on the forum, do it cause its fun, not to win Hope that answers your question, if you would like it to change then check the thread i created for feedback.

    An email you send your submission to would be easy but that would force you to give me your email address which you might not be comfortable with and honestly i dont think id want that myself. Im not sure if there are websites that let you submit photos that only a few select people can then access, but if there are id love to know them and have a look to see if it would work for the contest. Now assuming that would be possible, id pack up all the images submitted and send them to the judges, without any names on the pictures, they would then tell me which they vote for and that would be it. Does that sound like a better solution? A big downside to this kind of solution is that most people here will never be able to see the pictures that are entered, which to me seems like half the fun of it all. Another thing i see repeated a few times.. Is that people seem to want the people who win one month to be unable to win the next. Which makes sense but should they be able unable to enter at all, or only be unable to win? or get in the top 3?

    So i did the probably wrong thing today after i posed the result of the December competition to look in world chat. What i found was a lot of complaints about everything was rigged, how it was unfair and what not, most if not all of the comments to the contest was negative. So from that i have a request to everyone that is involved with the contest, anyone from the people that enter the contest to the ones that hate it for various reasons. Id love to make the contest perfect but it wont ever be, but that doesnt mean we cant try right? If the people that have ideas on how to improve the contest, make it more fair or whatever else would be kind and post them here so we can discuss them and figure out a way to imrpove the contest overall each month. That is all i ask, im looking forward to hearing ideas, hopefully all this negativity can turn into something good. EDIT: Ive seen a lot of people ask for the judges to be changed often, and i have tried to do that before but more often than not i got people that declined being judges, and to be quite honest.. I dont want to spend my time searching for replacement judges every month.
