    Hellooo...

I was inspired by those large spacious living room sofas that can host multiple people at the same time so I made myself one, and decide too share it too..
This is not a pro job by any means but it ended up looking quite good, so why not to share it.

The original inspiration was this one:

I've made some changes and simplified some elements not to complicate my life any further and also to keep it light with number of elements.

    Me for size comparison

I made a little map and I call it Back Alley. Its not fully detailed, but enough for some naughty times and lean spots and a few couches around the place, and a small coffee shop.
It would make a cool little RP spot for some scenarios. So feel free to grab it and use it, modify it, whatever it, and have fun.

Edit, I've updated the map, grab it again for a bit better version.
Edit 2. I've been asked for a couple of things, so I will do one more pass over this map tomorrow and then will update this, and post the final map, then move onto my main project.

Edit 3. Ok guys, I've done a final pass on this map.. On top of a general tidy up, I have added a small apartment block with 8 furnished rooms, I replaced the lounges in the park with proper park benches, courtesy of Menon in this very thread.   I added a stack more pose spots to various areas, I detailed the cafe much better and added furniture to the rear section, including a cold room. I made one of the brick warehouses and actual warehouse, fitted a roller door and placed various props(crates, barrels) inside with pose spots.
I opened it to the public last night for a couple of hours and a lot of people liked it, and that was before the apartment block and changes I done today. I am quite happy with it how it all turned out and I do hope someone runs this map often on public, as I'd like to play in there myself.

The final copy of the map is down below to download, just place it into your 3DXChat directory/folder, then start the game and go into edit mode, then click "File" in the top left corner of the screen, then select "Load from file" then select "Back Alley.world", and you'll be up and running.
    And as always, have fun.

    Its map time again.
This time I have a police station. This one is not grouped and is set up as a use as is, but if you wanted to import it, it would be easy to trim the outer parts, then group it so you could place it onto an existing map.
Its quite big in size, 2 story, with the office and processing area just inside the front door then a walk around to the back for the lock up area, these are individual cells, with all the doors closed, but the doors are made from water so they can be walked through. Out the back door is the car park and a police van(it doesn't look too good) but ok for a prop. Up stairs there are 2 offices, a main one(chiefs/commander) and a smaller one, and a large conference room. We've already used this for a couple of small roleplay scenarios, and its got a nice feel. Size is 199KB

Another map for the island lovers.
It's a modified default island map. I cleared the old house and flattened out the area a little more, tidied up and extended the cove. I put in a small high rise. The ground floor is set up as general foyer with main desk, lifts and some seating. You could add a shop or something else in there if you like as there's a bit of unused space there. The top floor has a small furnished apartment and pool. I have the spawn point on the dock, but if you were mainly using it for the apartment, just move the spawn point up to there, or if you would like me to, just ask. I do have a rough set of stairs hidden around the back to access the apartment. The rest of the floors are just blanks.
Although I tuned this for a night time event, the lighting looks ok in all the presets. Is just under 100KB's so it runs quite well.

Hey guys, with the festive season upon us I decided to make a liitle room.
This is my cabin from the lakeside room I updated and re-released recently, I added it to a snowy alps theme and put some snow covering on it, then added some coloured bud lights. The inside is pretty much unchanged from the lake map, with the obvious inclusions of the x-mas tree and some coloured lights above the fireplace, and I also squeezed the dual lounge a little closer together. I placed some enviromental effects either side of the cabin that when viewing out the windows from inside look cool..  Its 214KB and runs well on notebooks and I hope you like it.

I finally finished off the BOS Bunker, heres a cut and paste from the description before.
It is loosely based off a location in a game I played, Fallout 76, and The Brotherhood Of Steel underground bunker that is within the game. When coming across this location I thought it was such a cozy spot that it would make a nice room to be in with that someone special in this game.
I started building this around a year ago but because of the lack of decent lighting tools, I couldnt get the feel I wanted so I shelved it. To me, lighting is the most important part of having a room feel good or ordinary so after a few wasted efforts early on, I now only partially build a room then see how the lighting works for the size and layout before progressing any further. It runs well on notebooks and is 383KB.
In one of the pics below, youll see where I have circled a spot in the generator room, I wanted to add in the glory hole pose template but didnt want to have a hole in the wall and ruin the look of this room just for that, so I added in some railings to that room at the right heights so as the hands for that pose end up in the right spot and not in mid air. it turned out better than I thought it would and looks great, and more importantly, looks like its a natural part of the room.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Another room finished off, probably more suited to roleplayers out there, this is a small restaurant.
It was built as an internal room only, with no access to outside, again like the unit I not long finished, there are props outside the building that can been seen veiwing out the windows but It wasnt built as an outside room, so the details on the outside of the building are non existent, but if you wanted to add it to an existing room, it wouldnt take much to have the outside looking ok.
As usual for all my stuff, its notebook friendly at 157KB and has a nice feel under all the lighting presets, though I couldnt quite get the lighting the way I wanted. Play around with it yourself to see what you like.

    Enjoy

New room time. Ideal for a couple or small group.
This is small 2 bedroom house I modelled from one I used to live in, it was a what they call a Unit in Australia, which are specifically a group of small houses built for the purpose of renting.
It has no exterior(it doesnt look like a house on the outside, just a box, so this will be no good to add to an existing map or anything like that), though Ive placed some greenery and props outside the windows for effect.
I'm happy with all the lighting presets. The pics were taken with default night a 1
It runs nicely on laptops and is 168KB

    Enjoy!

    New map time!
This one is a club that was a part of a bigger project I was doing, but It ended up being too big... Instead of redesigning, I have tidied it up and put it here for you guys to use.
Out the front is a wharf with a couple of boats, then just inside the main door is the sign in room.
There's the main room with a stage and dance floor, surrounded by 2 tiers, the first with stools and tables and the top with dining and lounges. Off to the side there is an indoor pool and deck, and over to the other side is a naughty/bed area with a fountain. Size is 432KB

Time for another map, an old church.
Not a lot to mention about this one as its pretty self explanatory. It could be used for weddings, or modified for anything.
All the Pews have a mix of sofa and chair poses added to them, and i've added lighting so it can be used for a night setting. It looks good under all the presets, I have the late afternoon at 0.7 selected for these screens and I like that setting, but play around to find what you like best. There's a crypt around back under the church for a touch of spookiness
    It weighs in at 376KB
    Enjoy!

A couple of requested items that can be shared to everyone.
2 Cars, A police car and a cab. The police care I spent a bit more time on, it can seat 2 people in the front, Female Characters using the stool pose. To access the pose hover your cursor around under the car on either side. I also put in lighting inside the car and for the headlights and tail lights.
The cab has no seating or lighting, just the signs.

    New map time.
I got a few requests for a replacement house for the default island as its not really a house anyway, no kitchen or loo or much of anything really.
Anyway, I used the highrise map I put up here recently as the base as the work of flattening out the area was already done so I just needed to get rid of that building and make a nice house. I also shrunk the big wharf down to better size to represent it as a private feature. I've tuned the lighting so it looks pretty good at all the presets from night to day. And kept details down so it runs nice on notebooks. 154KB. Enjoy.

I started this Submarine a while ago, but it didnt turn out as good as I would of liked, I got the scaling wrong when not taking the wall thickness into account, but I had already spent quite some time on it and I didnt want to waste that effort so I pushed on to tidy it up the best I could and finish it so its usable. Might be fun for some RP or just something different.

This is a small western town I made, I really like the layout in this one, it turned out better than I originally thought it would. Its not super detailed as the size was getting out of hand so a lot of the buildings are quite sparse, but now with 64bit and depending on your computer, you could add a lot more to these maps. As it is these are around 1mb each. Download links are down the bottom of the page.
Unlike any of my previous rooms, I ended up making two versions of this, a night and a day version because the lighting from the lanterns looked really bad in the day settings, the colour of those lights standing out so much it was jarring, so all the lights have been removed except the lamps in the Saloon rooms as they have no windows.
A big thankyou to Robert for the use of horses
