  1. yes, you are absolutely right. you have to have an alternate female to test a female 3some (FFF) and you have to have a male alternate if you want to do a 3some male (MMM). that is rather unfortunate
  2. just my observations from other virtual worlds: (3DX-Chat is so much better, but scaling like this would be great) that would be very nice. i and many of my friend are from RedLightCenter, basically a dead world now, but they have different sized AVI's and it adds a lot to the game. what you suggest, having them upscale or downscale to a standard size is exactly what they do there -- it works great. So you have these Tinkerbell sized mini's that are going to interact with a Huge scale AVI, both AVI's are scaled to the animation size so they both are the same and it fits the animation. that really works and i've never seen anyone complaining that the Tinkerbell sized mini is not dancing with just the big toe of the huge AVI.
  3. i had this issue also, but accidentally stumbled upon a fix: the next time you go to the room, don't give it a greeting -- just leave it blank -- then update the room. the annoying greeting is gone. granted it may be putting a blank, i have not observed that though, but there are no words nor multiple lines announcing every 1/2 hour, hour, or whatever.
  4. that would be so nice. i have not been in a world that has that ability, but i have needed to pose a doll/model so many times. i just quit doing anything that i have to show "actual look" of the AVI when in use.
  5. where you see the Add Partner in the actions menu, add a bot partner for testing: Bob or Betty or both. you will then get the appropriate poses for the device you are working with.

I will say: interesting ponderings... it totally removes what i come to 3Dx for... human interaction in a game environment. i can download numerous AI's that will chat with me and do whatever i want on my phone or my computer. i've tried a few. they are not the same as talking to a person. you've heard the old advertising adage that if you hear something 3 times it becomes fact in the US American mind ? AI is like that, if you know how they work, then you can get them to do anything you want. it works like that, so i don't really want AI running amuck in my favorite game. there are my ponderings on systems that are so prevalent in our society now, and getting more common all the time, that you can barely breath without your AI based air conditioning system giving you an analysis of your bio carbon footprint. i like old school, one on one interactions with that whim driven, illogical, crazy person. that might just be me though Piper
  7. i have been building and a couple days ago my "snap-to" quit working in my rotate object, but more drastically: the gizmo seems to be solid. that box around the object i am working with has actually become collidable. so there is a solid invisible box around all of my large objects now as i try to build. i don't know at what scale this happens, i have created small objects recently, but when i am building things like an island there is a hidden barrier between me and anything i make. for example, the screen shot shows me standing on top of the barrier from a sphere that i stretched to see if i could reproduce the problem. yep, it's easily reproducible, at least in my install. Any ideas? my next step is to just wipe 3Dx from my system and download a fresh copy and install again. i'd prefer not to if there is someone with a simple fix for this. Piper
  8. this is a little thing, but to those that do fantasy vampire, it's not. why doesn't 3Dx have vampire teeth options for those that want it? i'm extremely impress with the ongoing talent and abilities of 3Dx to bring out working and relevant updates to the system. i love that elf ear update, the sharing, position swapping, and clothing options that were brought out in the last major update: how about tossing a bone to the vampires in the system and adding vampire teeth ? ones that are configurable so they show or not, depending on the person's mood or at least configuration preference for the day. thank you Piper
  9. ok, i found a workaround if you ever start having this problem. here is what i was able to come up with: 1 - the copy of the teleport marker seems to be linked to the original. so, if you chain them, copy 1, then copy the copy, and etc, they are all linked. delete one of them, recolor it, or whatever, then all of them that are linked are changed. so only make the one copy for the other end. for the next one you need, create it all over again - but set it side by side with the original so you get the same dimensions. 2 - moving them is not as bad as i thought. select the one you want moved and go to where you want it move to, the widget will grow so you can still see it, no matter how far away you are. Grab the bottom plane and drag the teleport marker to you, it does not leave copies along the way. there you have it, worked for me, but then the problem showed up for me too, so maybe they both are just screwed up lol
  10. i am having a bit of a problem with teleport markers. i make them just fine, and i use the teleport just fine. i also understand the difference between guys and girl releporting--girls float. what i'm having a problem with is that i copy a marker, and move the copy to a new location and along the way it leaves a new copy of the copy that i am moving. i have teleport markers at the beginning and at the destination, but also one out over the ocean on the way to an island. help, when i delete the one out over the ocean, the original erases too, and even the one that i copied it from !!! any one have any thoughts ?
