Yeah there seems to be issues with 3DX apparently since a recent norton update.
I ended up uninstalling Avast because I got enough of it
considerning my own apps (I'm software dev) as potential threats due to the fact that I didn't sign my own apps.
whining about disk space releasable that it couldn't release ... and when I moved files from my download folder to other directories, no more space to be released, avast was just unhappy about me having files in download folder.
alerting me that some apps were vulnerable and facing serious security vulnerabilities ... as soon as a new version got available. Instead of just telling me that a new version of that app is available.
Antivirus make me feel like gone more problematic than the problems they're supposed to fix.
it works ... somehow ... The documentation on one topic on this forum makes it clear, but other places clearly don't : you have to right click for WASD(QE) to work (totally unnatural). Oh and by the way, would be great to match it on the key codes rather than on the letters or symbols they're attached to because on French keyboards A and Z are swapped with Q and W. Or offer us an option to remap this to French keyboards. Makes it totally unnatural. So in the end it's still WASDQE while it should have become ZQSD(AE).
I regularly free cam in both Sin and CheatingWives and never faced this issue in those two rooms. I however faced it in world editor. I had a transparent effect layer a 0.001 scale on vertical axis and this problem appeared when I moved that layer upwards to access the part underneath. Removing that layer fixed the issue.
Ok, so there's a little powershell script hidden in the tabs of the status page, it's a bit tricky to grant some permissions, but it says DNS issues.
The results can be uploaded on 3DX status page so so here's the link to the results of the test I ran
seems like general issue. I had first the usual "connection lost" redbox, and attempting to reconnect I had the "connection refused" instead.
Status page shows everything fine (excepted the number of visits on the page which has considerably raised the last 35 minutes).
No server (EU US cloud) works.
I have Ghostery installed on both Firefox and Chrome. This one is quite aggressive as well. but yeah interesting option to consider. But this wouldn't explain why some people finally receive their email with hours of delay. Still worth trying it.
