OK, so Open Room popups as paid advertisements. Settings option to show all or only friends rooms or hide all. I would say it will clean up WC but, of course, there is nothing to stop them posting in WC. However, they are the least of concern so... remove WC?

Yes, It is for me, regardless of browser. Perhaps they are winding it down Just to add that (and it is entirely unrelated, I am sure, but just as annoying), when running 3DXChat, my YouTube videos stutter and my PaintShop Pro has strange problems. That never used to be the case.

Only three months away? 15 for me and, you're right, same ol' same ol'. I don't explicitly try to avoid conflict. I'll respond to anything, if I feel like it. Perhaps I've been lucky. I iggy a lot of WC, which cleans it up a bit and I have at least one on the forum that I block. In neither case to avoid drama but just because of the type of comments they make. In fact, I've never really had any drama. On the other hand, I try to contribute as much as possible... my cartoon strip (well, ex-car...), image accompanied suggestions for improvement, etc. I have a good set of "friends" here still and enjoy the building process. Those things and the excellent quality user rooms/music streams keep me busy so I don't notice a lot of drama involving others either. I don't necessarily disagree with anything you say, except that you "think Gizmo is not making as much money as he could be." Well, of course, he could be making more but the fact that he isn't has nothing to do with the "crap" on the forums or WC putting people off. It is the high cost subscription for little development return by them, compared to other games.

To be fair, Gizmo said "spam/flame" in his original post. I don't like either but the room event posts invariably separate regular comments so much that following a conversation is often impossible and they fill up the log so you can't scroll back very far through other messages. Plus, I don't like the use of the /em for the sole purpose of emphasising the message through a different color. It isn't what it was intended for. There was a system whereby you could send messages, as popups, to all friends or to everyone. I think the best thing to do is remove WC and revive the popups, at a charge, with the option for users to see/not see the popups (and differentiate between friend/everyone popups too).

Well, I agree with most of what you say Twiggy except, particularly, the last sentence... "Then also announce that advertising rooms in world chat is no longer allowed." ...because just announcing it is hardly sufficient. I think WC should be disbanded. the popup to friends or everyone (or some other grouping) should be revived for room advertising, with a charge for use and a user option to inhibit. As far as providing assistance to users is concerned, improve help and/or add a volunteer monitored room for that purpose.

Most of the Sofa sex poses work fine on a chair and I use them (via WE) on chairs that I build. However, the footprint is enormous. Can we have them duplicated for a chair or, at least, for a smaller footprint than a Sofa? Even better, why not have all poses individually as objects, so we can attach to anything? Toasting pussy on an anal dildo... And, while we're about it, can we have BDSM rope texture as a material. I am tired of trying to create a reasonable looking rope. Oh, small problem too. If you have pool made from sea water and use pool poses, only Strap-on options available... no Sex actions/stop available.

Thanks Anaganda, that worked (deselecting the duplicates while group is ungrouped but still selected). It was just lack of experience. I still think it would be nice to duplicate an object within a group and have it automatically removed from the group though.

One (other) thing I would like to see in World Editor is "Duplicate and Unlink" Currently LCTRL + D → Object duplication is fine but, if you apply that to a component of a group, the duplicate becomes part of the group. Having torn my hair out trying to duplicate pieces of a very large group and use them to form an alternative group, I would like to see RCTRL + D or SHIFT + D, for example, to duplicate the object and unlink it from the group. Currently, the only way to do it (and please correct me, if I am wrong) is to duplicate, ungroup and then regroup everything except the duplicate(s) which, in my case, at least, was (virtually) impossible to do.

I think there are better things to spend creativity, development and implementation time on, as opposed to controlling chat. I hate the vast majority of shit in world chat but I find ignore works well enough.
