As much as I have fallen in love with this place, at times it is frustrating and disappointing.  Most disappointing when I see some of my real life imperfections pop up.  The past two of days have been not so good.  
Earlier this week while sitting at my usual barstool at Lake Keely, which is what I wont to do when mostly afk with work, I noticed a pretty woman had paused in front of me.  A quick check of her profile indicated she is brand new, so I gave her warm welcome, and even sent a welcome to this wild world gift.  She said thank you with a promise to chat another time so I could get back to work.
Yesterday found me with a free moment, and when she said hello, we met at beach to sit in the sand and sun and chat a bit.  We found a quiet spot to sit and had just begun to tan and talk, and another person showed up.  Someone we both knew (he is even in my friend's list) and we both offered him a spot in the sand next to us, and begun a group chat.  It started off fine, and since I knew our new arrival from past meetings, was able to fill in our new friend on how I knew him.  This is when he had to bring into the conversation how much he already knew her.  Every line was attributed about her, and not directly, the things they have already done together.  Not a big deal to me, this is a world that includes sex, but it was really not needed in the context of the current discussion.  I was reading it loud and clear that this was his woman, never mind his profile reads his heart belongs to someone else entirely.  I made an excuse about work needing me and logged off.
This is when things went south, for me.  I knew better, but for the first time I used my alt for totally selfish means.  I logged in as my alt and entered the room I had just exited and sent up my fly cam.  Yep, there they were, already fucking on the beach.  Logging off, I felt bad.  Not for them, but for me for me being so petty.
Today found me again at my barstool and again there she stood and said hello.  Not mentioning yesterday, I was bound and determined to have that sit with her and have that real conversation.  We picked a deserted room and went way in the back and sat in the sand.  And shortly after, once again, here comes the third wheel.  Obviously, she had to have told him where he could find her.  Since it was a long way for him to get to us, she asked if it would be okay for her to zoom him over.  I said sure, since I am leaving again.  I exited the room, put both of them on ignore, and now written this entry.  Why do I let such things get under my skin?

Heya Jack. 
While I was mostly talking about the game itself, I do agree with the thing about the forums here. 
I kinda gave up keeping up for now. 
Most threads are just retreading topics and issues that have been debated ad nauseam by now. 
Although maybe it’s just because we’re all old hands now and have no patience with newer players. 
I’ve noticed I’m kinda snippy with folks asking things on the 3DX Discord too. They mean well, but ask things that have been done to death many times over. 

I oddly feel the same and got the curiosity to check here just now.

Been a while since I felt like writing here. 
Feels like my life got put on pause for a bit. 
 
Seems like nothing has changed in 3DX either. 
Been around almost every day, and it’s just the same thing over and over. 
 
I log on because I feel a bit frisky or in need of a conversation. 
But in general when I go somewhere I just wander aimlessly, not finding anything to scratch that itch.
Exceptions do occur and when it’s good, it’s awesome. 
 
But in general it’s the same cycle, I log on, I wander, get bored, log off. 
Then a while later I get bored with whatever else I was doing and log back into 3DX. Rinse repeat…
Most of my regular friends seem to have wandered off, and I don’t blame them. 
Part of the problem is with me anyway, I just don’t have the energy to pick someone and bug them via PM. 
To afraid to interrupt them. 
 
Oh well, rant over.

My day started as many have on 3DX,  bored and trying to find something new I had not seen yet. I remember scrolling through the room list and seeing BBC this FUCK ROOM that and thinking to myself I just want to have an adventure. I just want to see something beautiful and immersive and not another sex dungeon. (not that there is anything wrong with sex dungeons just wasn't really in the mood for one) As I scrolled I paused a bit as the wording on a particular room was a bit difficult to read at a glance surrounded by hearts. I thought hmm. looks interesting. So I clicked on the join and in I went.. To my delight my vision resoled into a beautiful pier complete with boats and benches for those who are waiting. So naturally I sat.... and opened up my friends list and messaged a few people who were on. No response.. Sigh* Typical I had finally found a place worth exploring with someone and nobody was around. So I waited a bit patiently and chopped over to the LOCAL. There it was.. the inaugural "Hi Chris!" from evilNala who it turns out is less evil and more well AMAZINGLY TALENTED. WE spent a whole 3 min chatting about the place when she finally asked how far I had gotten on the path.. I of course replied with .. The Dock.. hehe.. Yup I still had not moved from my waiting area. So I'm not going to lie, Nala is a feisty one and it took some clever banter before she told me about how she fired her tour guide. We had a few laughs and I convinced her to show me around... Reluctantly.
This was one of the best times I have had on 3DX hands down.
Nala graciously led me around this absolutely huge place she had created. She took her time and explained each area. She showed me some of her favorite places and where to stand to get the best view.
I have to say this world feels very natural, With its changing elevations and rope bridges over rivers and it's trails that carve they're way down the hill side. Obviously there were a plethora of beds, of which those who know me can attest to, I love and have to try out every one. .Which luckily Nala found to be humorous. But guys.. this isn't just a jungle There are cabanas and main house and some stunning beach views.
Look I don't want to give it all away I want you to see it for yourself. So please go there and enjoy the discovery. It is a big map so unfortunately some computers cannot handle it well..BUY A BETTER ONE! because this experience is completely worth the half a year it took her to make it.
One of the best parts of all of this experience is that I get to call Nala a friend.. So be respectful and Treat her well. You will be rewarded with witty conversation and a absolutely delightful time. 
 
Lastly.. Tell her you read this weird tale of a guy on an adventure though bali on the the forums and that is why you are there! Thank you for taking the time to read this and please go on and adventure today.

So true, Diana.  It's players like you that will make my decision to renew my subscription next month an easy one.  I feel that money isn't necessarily going to the right people. 🙂

Wow.  It has been awhile since my last post.  It has been  a mix of things, mostly outside this space that has kept me from visiting.  However, there was also my temporary ban from the forum that truly soured me.  The people I have met and grown close to in this space and in game I am so thankful for.  During that ban I strengthened connections through other platforms and in game itself, so this diary, and this forum, have become secondary.  I hope to visit this space more often again, soon.  We'll see.

You are right, Jack. But on the other hand: it's sad that the players have to be the support team for the devs.

I just wanted to share some images of a build-in-progress that I have been working on the last month or so. I named it Elysian Falls because I used to have a town with that name in Minecraft when I was younger and it just always stuck with me. I joined 3DX Chat back in January, and quickly became addicted to creating my own world within the game.
I hope that the build will be finished and ready to open by April, and will eventually be looking for some DJ's/greeters and dance groups who are interested in coming by to help with the grand opening. So if you are interested please feel free to contact me here.
The area has 3 main portals that take players to various areas on the map, as well as some caves hidden around the landscape. While the main area is completed, there is a palace in the back that is still being worked on. I would love to hear any feedback or ideas that anyone may have. If there are areas that you particularly enjoy in other rooms that you have seen and would like to see here, or something that you wish people had done and have yet to see please comment and let me know. I hope to make more rooms in the future, as this was my first room and was my attempt at testing out what the world editor could do. I do wish I had been aware that you couldn't swim in the 'placed' water and discovered the flattened sphere bug. But I hope that I can make some adventurous new rooms for people to enjoy.

Move the spawn point where you want to spawn... that´s it. And be sure to see the foot prints, not to place it to deep. Foot print direction is your direction to face when spawning, see the pic.
