Sur l'invitation de ManonFr nous nous sommes produits au Kittenisher pour un concert live de Lacuna Coïl. This is Moon, do you copy? Today I'm coming back to the evening of Wednesday 21st December. On the invitation of ManonFr we went to the Kittenisher for a live concert of Lacuna Coïl Pour resituer : le groupe Lacuna Coïl est un groupe de métal gothique d'origine Italienne. Formé en 1994 à Milan, nommé en premier lieu Sleep of Right, il change de nom trois ans après pour Ethereal suite à la signature du contrat avec Century Media. Constatant que le nom Ethereal était déjà utilisé, ils deviennent LacunaCoil en 1998. Leur musique s'inspire du mouvement gothique, utilisant des lignes de guitare mélodieuses et alternant chant lourd puis clair, avec une légère influence pop. C'est l'album Comalies en 2002 qui les propulse sur le devant de la scène internationale. Ce dernier avec ses rythmes hybrides de hard rock et de mélodies symphonique reçoit des acclamations et des critiques élogieuses qui conduit Lacuna Coil aux portes du nouveau monde. To resituate: the band Lacuna Coïl is a gothic metal band from Italy. Formed in 1994 in Milan, first named Sleep of Right, they changed their name to Ethereal three years later after signing a contract with Century Media. Noting that the name Ethereal was already being used, they became LacunaCoil in 1998. Their music is inspired by the gothic movement, using melodic guitar lines and alternating heavy and clean vocals, with a slight pop influence. It was the 2002 album Comalies that brought them to the forefront of the international scene. The latter, with its hybrid rhythms of hard rock and symphonic melodies, received acclaim and rave reviews that led Lacuna Coil to the doors of the new world.
