  1. They surprised the fuck out of a lot of people by coming out of hibernation and delivering a beta. Colour me shocked. I fell right out of my fucking tree it has more bugs than The Division... which is a fuckload but they delivered a beta. I'm impressed actually. Just no radio silence next time please. Now they need to iron out the kinks, make it work properly, and advertise it properly, learn some communications skill and we are good to go. I might even come back and claim my perch on the beach again.
  2. All of the games problems could be easily solved with community input. I've seen a number of posts from a number of extremely talented people that could give us poses, locations, clothing, props, colours for the rooms, accessories such as tattoos and so forth. A few of the most successful online games, adult or otherwise, succeeded because of the community. RLC and its engine sharing 3DSex prospered because of the user generated content and ecosystem (similar to an App Store in all respects), even with its terrible graphics and not much better 2.0, Curio. 3DX is too much of a walled garden, waiting on the devs for every improvement. My opinion would be to go open and allow user content (with some approvals of course, users can also make rubbish). Silence speaks a thousand words and its silence is never good. Let's hope the devs get to talking again so that we don't have the same constant arguments from both sides of the camp.
  3. Heyas Doll! Hiyas Tika. I have been undercover watching for a while to see if there were any meaningful changes but I see it's still Soon™
  4. If they are for sale it would make sense. One of the bigger players in the market could want the game and engine and player base and I'm sure they could pick it up for cheap. It would change he state of the game drastically. I doubt it's for sale though. More likely they are on break and we "might" hear something soon....
  5. I've generally only seen replies in defense of the developers from the "moderators" so I am sure if you say something inexplicably mean about the devs or the game you will see a reply
  6. You can cut the animosity with a knife...

    EU Referendum

Cannot say I'm brit but we used to be a colony many many moons ago, and the best thing we inherited is driving on the correct side of the road (drivers seat on the right side of the car, car on the left side of the road). Can't comment how good or bad it would be to exit the EU. We are just hiding down here avoiding everything Africa ftw!
  8. Wow it has been literally ages since I replied in forum and this is as good a time as any with the myriad conversations going on about content (or lack thereof). I had been part of 3DX since sometime in 2013 and in January this year I cancelled for a number of reasons, mostly my own, but a clear one was the high monthly price versus the value it garnered and the ratio was very skewed. Lack of communication (if I communicated with out clients this way I would be unemployed), lack of moderation (the report system in game is pathetic as fuck-all comes of it, the rampant trolling and harassment in game goes unpunished, the 10k added for Alts is just a money scheme if you ask me, and the forum moderation for the most part is whimsical and hardly neutral in 2 out of 3 cases) and the utterly lackadaisical pace for new content just didn't justify the $20. I kept it month to month so that I could cancel at any time. The lack of allowing community input (poses, clothing, locations etc.) is also a travesty because they could use the xgold for something other than a blatant money grab and instead have a user content system and take a cut of said profits similar to the system in place in RLC or SL. If they dropped the sub to reflect the offering, I'd likely resub for a month and stroll around again to see, but the same problems would result as I can speak to most of the people I've met here, outside of game and already do and have as Steam, Uplay and Xbox friends. Everyone drones on that you can't compare etc etc but graphics is not everything. Graphics wise 3DX wins hands down, but content, interaction and community engagement wise the likes of RLC etc. win hands down. Cheaper subs... yeah I would join again for a while but likely leave again after a while because of the reasons stated above.
  9. Not meant to offend anyone, its just funny because its Chuck Norris !!
  10. I am going to paste my answer from another topic: This is a long post Right so for clarification, and after a fun and informative day with Windows 10 at work yesterday where I spent the day in the recesses of the technical department, where they all need a tan and some fresh air (j/k) we took a wide range of hardware and built around 12 different machines and tried various configurations and ecosystems, here is a rough idea of what we used: - various Z97 Mobos (MSI / ASRock / EVGA) with Haswell & Haswell Refresh processors - various Z170 Mobos (MSI / ASRock / Asus) with an engineering sample of a 6700k - various DDR3 & DDR4 Kits (Corsair / Kingston / Geil) - various GeForce 5xx / 6xx / 7xx / 9xx cards (MSI / EVGA / Leadtek) - various Radeon 6xxx / 7xxx / R7 xxx / R9 xxx and a Fury X for good measure (MSI / Sapphire) - Kingston / OCZ / Samsung SSDs - WD Black HDDs & a couple Raptors We did various installs from fresh, as well as upgrading and also with a simulated older drive by writing tons of junk to it. Various versions of drivers etc etc. A deployment server was a godsend Disclaimer: EVERYBODY will have a different experience with Windows 10. What I experienced others might not but here are a few caveats with Windows 10. - last night (05 Aug 2015) MS issued a large "servicing" update to Windows 10. It apparently has a large swath of fixes. - Windows Update is less controllable (you cannot block updates) - The EULA is less privacy friendly. If you want to fall asleep, read it. - The explorer.exe is more prone to silent crashing/resetting - The Notification/Action Center sometimes duplicates messages or loses them - Changing Default apps is fine in the settings app. Apps can't change this anymore. Users have to. - Battery drain on notebooks is all over the place. Good and bad. - Manual IP configuration causes Windows to think it has multiple network adapters - Razer peripherals cause the synapse installer crap to pop up OVER the windows installer and you can't fucking click anything (angry face here, doesn't always happen) - GeForce Multi Monitor is hit and miss (works or fails balls) - Hardware acceleration with Office 2013 sometimes causes odd and funny graphical glitches - Windows will share WiFi passwords with friends using WiFi Sense. It is safe as it wont share with random people you dont know but the tin foil hat people hate it. - This is a BIG ONE - Windows 10 has BitTorrent functionality built in that can and will download your updates from MS Servers AND other PC's on the network AND around the world... AND it will use your PC to "seed" updates to other users. This can be turned off in the Windows Update section of the Settings App. Here is what we noticed. The problems are very very hard to reproduce. Some people will NEVER have a problem ever. Windows 10 will be amazing. For others you might have intermittent problems. A good point to note. Other than graphics drivers, MOST Windows 8.1 drivers work on 10, so if you know what you are doing you can pop into Admin Tools and Services, stop the Windows Update service, change it to Manual then pop into the Task Scheduler and edit it so it doesn't start with windows, disable driver signing using the winkey+r and typing MSCONFIG and install your more stable 8.1 drivers. Here is an easier tutorial to turn off the Auto Updates in Windows 10: Link Your mileage is going to vary like I said. A quick scan of the GeForce forums, the AMD forums, the MSDN and Technet sites and a few others shows a wide range of praise and cursing. MS also has a list of games that work but no real tech spec on it. Found here: Link Here is the Media Creation Tool if you want to FORCE a Windows 10 update: Link If you are REALLY brave and do not mind messing in the registry you can go to the following key to FORCE Windows to give you the update: Winkey+R --> Regedit HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> Microsoft --> Windows --> CurrentVersion --> WindowsUpdate --> OSUpgrade --> Click on the OSUpgrade folder. Then look for the following DWORD: AllowOSUpgrade If you do not have it Right click in the right hand side windows - Create a 32Bit Dword called AllowOSUpgrade then right click and edit it and change the hex to 1. Also check your reservation state. Make sure it looks like the attached image from my home machine For my part, last night I upgraded Windows this time (mainly due to a fresh install of 8.1 and it's better. A lot better. Ironic. SLI is still a little iffy, but overall far better. To answer Riela: - there were/are SLI problems - there were/are Single card problems - I use SLI as my home machine is also used for work renders and needs the horsepower - Some people are having more problems than others - Windows update fights with any other driver auto update such as GeForce experience (Win10 will use hot fix drivers, GFEX uses latest WHQL) - SLI performance varies by engine. Witcher loves it and chugs along at VSYNC cap on my 144hz monitor, Shadow of Mordor loves it. WoW and Wildstar don't need it. Arma3 benefits a tiny bit. Starcraft runs a little slower with SLI. In terms of this I have rolled back to 8.1 again and I am literally just going to wait until the new year to give everything a chance to settle. Personal feeling. My system spec for gaming has changed a little so for reference here is my current system spec: The 5960x is now purely a work machine. Core i7 4790k (4.0Ghz base/4.4GHz Turbo - Running at 4.7 OCd with Corsair H110 closed loop water cooling system) ASRock Z97 Extreme9 Motherboard 32GB Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 2133 using XMP profile Samsung 850 Pro 512GB SSD x2 in Raid 0 (Primary OS Drive) WD VelociRaptor 1.0TB x2 in Raid 0 (Gaming Drive) WD Green 6.0TB for random junk and the Backup of my OS raid and Gaming raid. All other info is kept on a 5-bay Synology NAS Gigabyte GeForce GTX980Ti Gaming G1 x2 in SLI Acer XG270HU Monitor Corsair AX1200i Power Supply (Added the Screencaps to show the config) In all of this 3DX is hit and miss. Running it in 8.1 Compatibility mode fixed all my issues. So after this huge post, the only way you are going to know is to try, so read a few reviews, read a few forums, play with 10 on a friends machine, and remember if you do upgrade your existing 7/8/8.1 using the free upgrade you have a month to revert back. You accepted the upgrade so it's free for the life of that machine and you can re upgrade at any time. Otherwise my suggestion is to use something like VMWare or Parallels Desktop, and run Windows 10 in a virtual machine and see if you are happy with it before moving across. It is VERY hard for me to say that everybody will have problems. You wont, or you will or you might or you might not. It is going to vary wildly but for the most part Windows 10 is very stable. 12. We upgraded a small subset of machines to Windows 10 for internal testing at work. 20 machines out of 180. It has been a fun ride so far with various bugs and glitches but for the most part... stable. Except for the marketing machines which run SLI Quadro cards. SLI is buggy to the point if crying. I decided to give this a try at home and promptly used the media creation tool from MS and using my 8.1 key did a secure erase of my SSDs re-raided them and installed. All updates, all Visual C, all current DX redists, and the latest 353.63 GeForce Drivers. Let me tell you my 980s are not happy. Neither are my old 780s just for confirmation. 3DX has black screen/crashes/render tearing Shadow of Mordor is CDT Witcher 3 is Driver Stopped Responding CDT GreyGoo is CDT GTA V seems ok but only 1 card works. Forcing 1 card makes the problem intermittent but still happens. There seems to be some fight going on between the Windows Update routine and GeForce experience, and for the record, unlike Windows 8/8.1/7 etc, you cannot disable the updates or skip some. You can only defer them. Mileage varies as it's not constant, but the constant resetting of my 2nd monitor is frustrating. Don't get me wrong, Windows 10 is brilliant but it still has a lot of things to fix. There is a large update targeted for October. I've re-installed Win8.1 and all is well again. I'll wait a while before making the jump.
  13. So I heard from a friend that there is now an option to add photos to the profile. Queue here for the utter deluge of fake pictures that will now be added from Tumblr, Flikr, Google etc. While the concept is sound in a perfect world, 3DX is not a place where most want their true identity seen. For RP it is going to do wonders, but for the rest it's just going to either be used for fakes, trolling or other such things. I haven't seen the feature yet and I'm not bashing it, I just don't think it's going to be useful and at best maybe a few might put their real pictures there. If it has a privacy setting, for friends only, that might work but could still lead to the above. Just my 2c on something I see as mostly pointless.
  14. I miss her but she is in a better place.... but I'm not there ....
  15. 3DX - Nice idea, but it won't happen for quite some time ?
  16. Dani, I will always remember you. Your loss has shaken me...

  17. Again? Best of luck Ash, hope whatever you are focusing on goes according to plan and is worth your focus. Real life is always the key thing to place first. Never lose sight of what you want in life and remember to grab it with both hands, not just one. Come back when you are ready, finished and successful.
  18. Thank fuck it's Friday, this has been a too long week as it is
  19. Valid and fair, and also the most obvious result. It is far far too difficult to even remotely try and validate the death of a person, even more so here as no matter how much you think you know a person, do you really know them as well as you think. It is not something to be taken lightly and a sex forum no matter how diverse is the last place to be posting the sad news of someone's passing, fake or otherwise.
  20. I like to keep my gaming diverse and varied, so I spend utterly too much money on games, hardware and my PC. Running a Core i7 5960X backed by 64GB of RAM and 2 GTX980s in SLI with the OS on its own SSD and an SSD Raid for the gaming drive. It doubles as my render and design PC for work. I also am a terrible XBOX loyalist with a 360 and XBONE, but I have a PS Vita knocking around somewhere. MMOs I currently play are World of Warcraft, SWTOR and Wildstar. Also burning a lot of time into GTA5 and The Witcher 3 on my PC, and FIFA15 on my One. And for some reason sinking hours and hours into Jetpack Joyride on my iPhone. When I am bored I'm playing some oldies on Steam... Trine and Trine 2. Loads of fun if you enjoy platform games.
  21. No wonder the time zone looks right for me. Mine is +2by default. I thought they fixed this issue already
  22. Well here we would say: Ballas (Balls) Sakkie (Small Sack) Eiers (Eggs) Wors en Ronds (Sausage and Rounds) All Afrikaans. All I can think off the top of me head right now.
  23. Wishing you both many happy moments together and may only love and happiness bless your time together. I hope that the foundations that brought you together continue to dominate your future relationship and my best wishes to you both. Remember also that if you make it through your first month you will beat most Hollywood relationships Best to you both
