As the title says, I'm building a 27 metre racing sloop. Everything was going well until I started planking the bow. Now, for some strange reason, the rotation gizmo has decided to be uncooperative when I try to fit a plank properly. Whenever I try to use the blue (vertical axis) my plank turns up and back instead of just tilting back.

After trying a hundred ways from Sunday to post some pics in a reply to a message, including loading the pics into imgur, then copying and pasting the links into my reply, I give up. This is the only way I know that does work. So, here's my progress in creating my first pose so far. The biggest problem, I'm having with this is, there doesn't appear to be a pose with a female sitting in a chair, which is what I wanted. My original plan was a pose with a woman receiving oral sex from a guy on his knees, while she sits in a chair.

Although I'm more interested in learning about creating poses, I decided that a good introduction to using the World Editor would be working with another member's creation and practicing with the various gizmos, settings and views. After a few weeks of mistakes, red herrings, dead-ends and successes, I've become a capable, if not terribly skilled builder. However, I have managed to create a few useful items for club owners, musicians and people who just like cool musical gear. I believe in paying forward so everything I've created is available free on 3dx Modz. Thanks to everybody who helped with my education. My first creation was a simple 2 channel (Clean/Dirty) guitar amp. I realized afterward that I had lost a very small piece of the trim on one side. The second was inspired by my Marshall stack. Third, a PA bass bin. Then I switched gears and built a power amp but I couldn't figure out why it fell apart when I tried to scale it. Simple answer that took me 2 weeks to figure out. I had it set to 'Pivot' not 'Center.' Staying with PA control, my next idea was a graphic EQ. Followed by a treble horn. A stage box for all the toys Another,better guitar amp. And finally, a 32 channel mixer/control board. I'm working on a Gibson SG 1275 double-neck guitar but the pieces just won't fit together smoothly. It might be my mouse or my eyes but something isn't right so any help would be appreciated.

Maybe I'm blind and not seeing the obvious but how do I attach a photo to a message? I've looked all over the editor and tried a few things. First was,"Drag and Drop." The pics did that, just fine but when I sent the message, the photos were missing or I got an SQL alert saying the message couldn't be sent. I then tried the 'Image' button but that required a URL. I'm just trying to to send a message with some pics from my computer, to another member in the forum, why do I need a URL? We can send attachments in the forum, why not in a PM.

I solved the problem by clearing the registry and re-installing into a game folder with a slightly different name.I kept the latest dll and used 64 bit mod.

I reinstalled the game again and now I arrive at my house buried up to my neck in rock and can't move.Thinking that the game might go looking for any 3DXChat folder for a saved home. I renamed a folder with no reference to the game in it's title and reloaded the game. With no files in the 3DXchat/Saves folder, I still ended up at a my old downloaded home but not buried in rock. I still can't get into the WE though. It freezes as soon as I select "Customize"

For the last 3 days, I've had trouble getting out of the World Editor. 90% of the time, I've had to Ctrl/Alt/Delete to get out. A few time,I've just had to wait a bit. Having gotten fed up with this nonsense, I edited my registry and re-installed the game. Now I can't even get into the WE.Just to be sure, I also installed the 12/02/19 387 dll.Still no luck. What is going on?

I've decided to take a stab at building a guitar amp and speaker combo in WE. I've managed to learn the basics in using the editor but need some input from more experience creators. My first attempt was using a basic cube shape and just altering it to the size I want. I discovered that I probably can't add the details I want.(pots,LEDs etc) because the box is still a lone element in the editor. My next try was to create all 6 sides of a speaker cabinet. That went very well. I now have a hollow, 6 sided box, roughly the size I need but I've realized that if I move 1 side, the whole box will come apart. How do I connect all 6 sides as a single unit?

Everything started working last night, with very few problems. I'd assumed the bug had been fixed but now the server is down. When it rains, it pours.lol

This seems to a major problem. I've watched the conversation in "World"chat and so far, there's problems with profiles that can't be viewed, missing Friends lists and being able to view one member's profile but not another's in the same room or location. I think they should have tested the new patch a bit more thoroughly before releasing it.

I've also tried re-booting my PC but still get the same results. I can't see my own profile nor anyone else's but everything else is ok.

Now I'm really annoyed. The new patcher downloaded and installed without any problems and I played the game for a few hours. However, after I shut down the game and reloaded an hour later, I get "Can't View This Profile" whenever I try to open my profile. Not only can I not see my own profile, I can't see anybody elses's.

Since the 380 upgrade came out in the end of November, myself and many members have had some serious problems with lag in the game. This is apparent in very crowded rooms but also in less crowded places. I was experiencing problems with logging on, rooms taking a long time to load and especially profiles and galleries taking time to open or not opening at all. I naturally assumed that it was caused by the servers or traffic but when everybody else wasn't experiencing lag, I had to look for another answer. The first was to shut down, what we used to call TSRs (Terminate Stay Resident) programs that run in the background even when they aren't being used.As that's been dealt with in other posts, I won't go into that again. After a lot of searching with little or no success, I thought it must be my OS or more likely the amount of RAM I'm using. I'm still using Windows 7, which still suits my purpose. If it works don't fix it! So for anybody using Win 7 and having lagging problems, try this. Windows 7, when it is installed sets the usable RAM to 2 gigs max! I have 8 gigs but Windows wasn't told to use the remaining 6. To change that I had to 1) Open the Start menu and type in msconfig in the Search box. 2) Open the System Configuration window, click Advanced Options on the Boot tab. 3)Check the Maximum Memory box then OK. 4) Restart the computer.

This is getting crazy. Up until an hour ago, 3dxchat was working fine. Then I tried moving to another room on the site and ended up with a screen that looked like it was an undeveloped room. There were many people in a huge expanse of water. I tried one of the default rooms like The Beach and no problem. Went to another 'Member created' room and the same problem occurred. I left and restarted the game and got the "Please check that your Internet connection is enabled" message on the log-in page. I've never had trouble between the game and my anti-virus or firewall but I followed the suggestion and disabled both and reopened the game. Same result. Next, I uninstalled the game, cleared the Registry and re-installed it as an Admin.Same result with the Internet connection message. The odd thing is, I can get past the 'Log-in' page and select which avatar I want to play but when I select where I want to go, I end up with the same result, a water expanse of nothing. Is this a server problem or another glitch in the 380 update?

Now I'm pissed.After putting up with the server being down for over 3 days,now I find the new patch won't install. I can't find any file called Patcher.exe, so I follow other instructions and uninstall the game.When I go to the website to get the new game, my user name and password aren't accepted. Next step is recover my password. Fine! All this does is confirm I had the right info in the first place but it still isn't accepted..This is not what I call even adequate Customer Service. Does anybody have a valid,working solution to this problem.

I'm getting really tired of this nonsense. All day, when I try to log on, I find myself between 3rd and 27th in the lineup and when I do get on, I'm disconnected 30 seconds later. What is going on?

Would somebody, please be so kind as to post a working,step by step list of instructions, from start to finish on the proper way to change the font size and colour in a profile. I have read every post on the subject and even had a friend on 3dxchat walk me through the way she did it and it still didn't work for me. I've been at this for a month now and it's really starting to annoy me. I suspect that after I've put all the info in to change my font, I'm not executing the command properly. According to my friend, I just need to save the profile but that doesn't work either.

I just downloaded Babybell's "Club Nostalgie". It looks good but for some reason, the room I opened isn't quite what I expected. For instance to the left of the wine shelves, I just have a wall. But according the pics about the club, there's supposed to be a door with "Eingang" (German for Entrance). I also can't get outside the club to the pool. I'm I missing something?

Hi Jess, If you're still looking for an older man to role-play with, I'm very interested. My avatar in the game is "Drugless", who's 46. He's actually a wee bit younger than I am IRL. My forum photo is me from about 6 months ago, so you have better idea of my true age. I don't use my true age on 3dxchat because I've found that ageism is rife on many social media and chat sites. It's unfortunate but it's there. I've been role-playing since D&D first came out, so that should give you an idea of the extent of my experience. I'm open to most scenarios but I'm not too fond of sci-fi or SoL settings. I can write in either 1st or 3rd person and prefer responses of decent length.I'm a bit of a stickler for story-telling not just a brief commentary on the action.Depth, colour, good dialogue and fun are my priorities.

Add more social interactions - splashing or water fights at beaches and pools. the ability for one character to lift and carry another. different, non-sexual, intimate poses for cuddling, spooning etc. more poses for musicians at clubs, parties or home.
