I've been here roughly 2 years and in that time, the February blog post was the only substantial communication I'd ever seen here. That post was the first point in a trend, so there's no pattern to predict an actual timeline of updates. However I think quarterly would be reasonable.
Either way, an estimate for the next update or patch would be ideal so people know how long they're waiting.
The merch advertisement isn't really connected to development in any way though, so those posts don't really merit any additional dev updates.

if they need extra money to pay the servers and debt from sponsor like lovense, they can just giving us some extra/vip contents to buy/ selling some custom designs other than xgolds, no one will be mad with that since this is the game we love afterall. But merchandising? After whole five month? To sell something people may not interested to buy? Instead of the update which most of the contents seems pretty done?

really loving the new additions to the game gizmo and the dev team! was wondering if we can get some tentacle poses thrown in, as well as the ability to have cum all over the body. In addition, i'd like to have the ability for us players to create our own clothing and being able to put our own designs on them (of course there would be a system check to ensure it's not against TOS). I also believe that for room hosts, we should be able to keep the room open for x amount of hours/days with a "/" command. 

How would the ability to hide nameplates being removed make the gameplay less diverse? All it would be is to hide everyone's nameplates globally in that world whether a player wanted it or not. That doesn't change the normal gameplay experience at all except make it frustrating for others who actually are trying to find someone they're trying to meet up with. Unless you just don't like seeing people's names on screen everywhere? If that be the case just turn them off yourself. Go to your Options > Game > Names > and set to Hide All or On Hover. Why should Builders get the power to tell us if we can see names or not when we have a dedicated name system already in the options menu for individuals. Giving builders that control would be garbage and makes the individual options menu pointless.

Also that IS a bug because to make it happen you have to lower the sea level below -7 meters and build that low to force the names to disappear. It's not an intended feature, and again if it was, it would be garbage.

I guess while we have gizmo's attention, I was curious if the developers had any interest in creating themed non-sexual pose animations in the future. What I mean by that are poses aimed towards roleplays such as police, nurses, sci-fi stuff, killing zombies etc? It might make some of the rooms with a theme more interesting, beyond sitting and dancing. Obviously, it would have to be something where you are partnered to do it. We don't want players zombie hunting at the entrance of sex rooms or anything ... or would we? 😂

1))  You only listen to a handful of players and ignore what everyone else wants.  This is wrong of you to do.  Neither NoirDesire, nor anyone else in your inner circle of buddies, speaks for all of us.  You always give them what they want but make it obvious you don't care what the remaining 99% of us want.  And don't reply back with nonsense about polling players to find out what we want.  The polls are only there to deceive the general player base into believing you really care what we want.

2))  Fix the Ignore feature.  It has been broken since it was first added to the game.  The visible list on our profiles only shows a set number of names.  Once you exceed that number, the Ignore feature breaks and only some on the list are still ignored, while many on the list are un-ignored (even tho their name is still seen on the list).  They can see you and you can see them.  They can message you and you can message them.  They can invite you and you can invite them.  They can see and enter your room, you can see and enter their room.  You have known for years that it is broken because the fact has been reported to you countless times over the years.

3))  Fix the Search feature of the Friends and Ignore lists.  This has been asked for countless times over the years.

4))  The Favorite Rooms feature is a good feature but we still have to scroll thru 100+ rooms to find new rooms, so we can go to those rooms to see if we will like them or not.  We want the ability to remove rooms from the Shared User Worlds list.  There is absolutely no reason we should be forced to see, and have to scroll thru, lots of rooms we have absolutely no interest in, or should not be in.  We cannot remove rooms by adding the alts which opened the rooms to our Ignore list because  >>>  refer back to number 2 above  >>>  and also because many players open rooms and then hide the alts so they cannot be ignored by others who want to remove their rooms from the list.

5))  REMOVE the "Strap-On" options from the screen of female gender alts and add them to the clothing editor, so they can be added and removed just as the clothing items can be added and removed.  Some of us women do not ever want to wear a strap-on or penis for any reason.  Those options should not be constantly on our screens as if you are trying to encourage us to use them.  This has been asked for numerous times over the years.

6))  Fix the color palette in the clothing and build editors.  We look online for a color, shade, tone, or hue we want to use, copy the RGB or Hexidecimal for it, add it to the color palette in the clothing or build editor, and it almost always gives the wrong color, shade, tone, or hue.  Try it yourselves and you will see it almost always comes out wrong.

7))  Enforce standards on publicly opened rooms.  Many rooms look good at first glance but it quickly becomes obvious they are very poorly built. This is because the builder has thrown many things in place without any regard for whether or not it is placed correctly, in their crazed rush to hurriedly open (or put up for download, or sell) yet another room.  We often lay inches above or stuck down into beds, suspended half off beds, sit inches above or stuck down into couches and chairs, leans inches off of walls, etc.  This is true even in rooms made by many of the self-proclaimed "Pro Builders".

8))  You ruined the "Gift Xgold" feature by trying to force players to buy xgold instead of allowing players to gift from the xgold they've earned by log ins.  I know you want to make real world money but no one is buying xgold to gift to others.  Either change it so players can gift from the xgold they earn by logging in or remove the feature from the game as it is a useless feature as you now have it.

9))  Give us the ability to turn off seeing wings, tails, horns, animal ears, headphones, etc on other players.  This has been asked for many times by players.  3DXChat looks more like a circus freak show instead of a virtual sex venue.
