Exactly a year ago I woke to your final Good Morning message on Discord.

I looked for you on game for hours after.

You did not respond on Discord.

You did not respond in text.

You did not answer your phone.

I knew something was wrong in my gut.

But never could I allow myself to think you'd gone.

When the phone rang with the horrible news I was standing with V in our room. Holding each other as we waited for news.

I screamed in RL to the cop and to V in VL

And our lives changed forever.

Nothing has been the same.

The pain of your passing is still with us.

The love of you still genuine.

We miss you my Jersey boy.  Always.
