I've played rpg's, both online and pen and paper. 3dx doesn't seem like it's really the sort of format that lends itself to being an rpg. I think what most people mean when they put that they like to rp in their profile is that they prefer to act out a scene rather than just watch some avi's go at it for a bit. I could be wrong, happens every now and then
