We are working very hard, currently we are wrapping up security improvements and almost ready to go into testing phase. Expect the update in November if all testing goes well, but keep in mind we can always postpone it if bugs are found in this phase. We will add a bunch of new content for you all!

Finally, SGD is doing it instead of users hosting and giving.  Good luck to those that enter as I've seen some amazing builds.

I'd like to ask a favor.
I share with the understanding people like to use parts and mod things to their tastes and add things to their builds. But FfS please don't take my concepts and builds and open rooms calling them yours.  Like I see some of the Strippers & Ladders are being. A big reason many don't want to share..
 It takes awhile and a lot of work to create game mechanics that work.
That is just fucking lame...

I don’t have to read through all of this and I didn’t. Your family, if white, and the majority of white families in the USA did and still do benefit from slavery. Through the decades after “emancipation” many policies, laws were established to keep minorities (mostly blacks) segregated from whites. This included actual real laws that made it illegal to sell homes in many areas populated by whites, or for banks to give loans to people of color as well. It also included moving many businesses, corporations and manufacturing out of big cities (ie Detroit, Chicago, New York City) and instead into mostly rural and suburban areas. This caused both a disparity in both income and wealth between whites and blacks. This was legal in our country until the abolishment of Jim Crow laws in the late 1960’s. Unfortunately the damage had already been done and still to this day have not been repaired. Hence the term reparations. Today, right now because of the inability to establish equity and loans because of these policies the average wealth or value of a black person is only 10% of a white person. Yes 10%. Not a typo. And their incomes only 60% that of a white person. If you were not void of the real facts and knowledge you would realize you have and still do benefit from slavery. To be fair you may not know any of these things because one: you may be too indifferent and and comforted in your false beliefs to find the truth and two: this history is never discussed or taught to the majority of whites in our country. One might even make the argument these facts and truths have conveniently been “erased” from our history, to paint a different reality of what happened in our nation’s past and blur and dilute what is still happening today, all stemming from slavery. Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think?

I agree, here in the US they are trying to change history as it was but not making new on only changing to how we should see things from one point of view instead of what actually happened and learn from it.  They're calling for reparations for the past but forget that those of today are not those of the past, not everyone benefited from the past and so on but want us to pay for it.  I wish things were a lot different today and the chaos of this world as well.  Hopefully things will get better in the future and the great divide that's happening now won't be in the future, it's a nice thought.

I do agree. I think there should be "Blacklisted" words that will cause rooms in game to fail to open whilst the title contains any of those blacklisted words and variations of words that users may try to circumvent blacklisted words a filter of sorts. And a public list of words should be published somewhere. Maybe here on the read first section. +1 from me.

I've said that for a while now when it was posted about the room names before as well as avi names.  A generic list that's used for both shouldn't be that hard to write into it and prevent any further instances from happening with the use of those words.  I even went as far back as when an instance even happened here on the forum.  I wrote on threads of the forum and in messages to the Devs.

Hey everyone, I have decided to end the long serie of Torax Pool Parties that started somewhere in Januray 2016. I would like to thanks all people who joined those parties, djs, dancers, friends, unknown, it has been a very long and amazing journey with you all, but for me it is time to close this chapter. I will keep building and hosting parties sometimes but nothing regular or organized anymore.
To totally turn the page, I also decided to share my Pool Party room as I wont use it anymore.

Hey all. Due to the recent server instability issues, we've extended the competition to the 24th July 2020. Update time is in the original post countdown link.

Due to the crashing issues we most likely will extend it by a couple of weeks just waiting to see when this new testing will begin.

When you are in the editor, you can build. You save "local hard drive"... just don't click the pop up "connection lost".

It's what I'm trying to get moving, especially with the new server solution coming soon with protection of the rooms from hackers.

Well said Rob, one of the reasons this is going ahead. To bring out those people from the shadows to shine with their creations and above all else who had fun the process of creating it.

I am sometimes amazed by the builders that are not known then by the ones that are known. The ones that are known were once unknown too until they created something many people remember and it stays with them. There are many builders entering and me, I love that something finally got people with amazing ideas to try. The primary thing that sets builders apart is not the quality but the idea behind the build. I encourage people to do their best. These best builds however will one day not be considered the best build for the builders since I hope they discover the fun in making an idea come to life and they will improve more and more. Thus getting better and better never truly finding their best because they will continue creating. As I said I am not entering because I am opening a room with a city feel in October so I am using my ideas on that room. Makes no sense to me to display it this early but I am having fun making it.

As Gizmo stated before that won't happen on here as they want all users to have the same offerings as any other user.  While we have World Editor you have to look at it this way, with the .dll with the old rooms people still created unique rooms out of what all users are given.

There is Utherverse, IMVU, SecondLife and so on that offer that.

Well, add an News feed tigger for advertising and spam, maybe with limited news postings (two for one hour) besides the WorldChat and everyone should be happy
Post two times in one hour a advertising is more as enough. Was also not a fan about the spams in World Chat.

Wouldn’t that lead to people entering rooms to toss a Advertisement into that rooms Local and then leave?

I do like the idea of two channels one which is world chat, which is for general chit chat across the game, the other specifically for advertising. As I do agree the world chat was heavily filled with advertisements for parties and rooms, and the posts were very extreme that I just don't look at it anymore and muted the world chat. But having a new chat channel for ads specifically will be the best action I feel in my opinion.

Removing the ability to open rooms to friends, group, and public ? Are you crazy ?
If they do that they will:
1: lose a ton of players.
2: they will need to remove too the build option because what is the use to build nice rooms if nobody else than you can see them ?
3: They'll also need to remove the possibility to DJing as there is no use to be DJing if nobody else than the DJ can hear it.
 
Sorry, but moving back from 3DX 2.7 to 3DX 1.0 don't seem very appealing
The best way to solve the spam problem would be a "anouncement channel" and the ones doing it in world chat once we have this announcement channel should be banned. But for now, like Ex said, The world chat is the only place where they can make announcements
