Actually, with this latest patch, the problem appears to be gone. What a relief.

I was thinking about this again the other day when having a chat to someone about another error, his problem while different ended up being an old install, or be it remnants of that install causing conflicts. He fixed it by saving all the .world files to a seperate folder then done a uninstall and clean out of any and all old files and folders.

Here's something I've thought of. 
Could shapable objects (cubes, spheres, etc.) block light? 
Not as in, it doesn't reflect a light source, or is lit up by it - but in that it prevents the light from that source to pass through to the other side?

We should be able to move and add items to our rooms while open 
and also should be able to leave our rooms open while off line or at least a time limit before it closes if we crash or reboot

mmm You know, how OP's word their opening statements and points tends to set the tone for the subsequent  answers.
The opening lines were somewhat antagonistic and challenging.  So people stepped up to answer. 
As for World Chat holding Ads for the rooms... why not?  It is ideal for that purpose and reaches all corners of 3DXChat.
If you want a chat, you can chat there if you want of course but also you can chat in Group or PM  or here and other medias like Discord. 
So chat in WC if you want but the Ads have as much right as the chatters to be there and most chatters there always seem to be hostile or insulting over something. It Seems toxic most of the times and puts the majority of people off.  Least the Ads  show where people can have a nice time if they want and whats on offer. 
I suppose, there are different music makers, people choose who they want for their room. The main criteria is friendly with good music. Too me they are all DJ's.  Best to build a good reputation for yourself rather than insulting people who also provide good streams and fun room atmospheres.
No one I would think are disrespectng our military who fought or served their country. Whatever country you come from have fallen heroes and brave personal and war animals. They should be thanked, commended and remembered.  So God bless and thank you to all past, present and serving now military personnel. 
I would like to see 3dxchat concentrate on developing more poses - sex poses and relaxing poses in rooms.
I'd like to see Saloon improved to a  barn dance/desert festival room.  The country music is great but the room seems lost and of course, more clothes for men, including socks, suit, ties, kilts.

I started this Submarine a while ago, but it didnt turn out as good as I would of liked, I got the scaling wrong when not taking the wall thickness into account, but I had already spent quite some time on it and I didnt want to waste that effort so I pushed on to tidy it up the best I could and finish it so its usable. Might be fun for some RP or just something different.

A new map for you to enjoy.
Someone who liked the cabin map I made said that it would be nice if there were a lake nearby, I started to modify that map but it didn't feel right and was going to be way too much work so I decided to make a new room built with the lake in mind.
The water used, you cannot swim in it, I tried the base water, but it looked a bit silly with the waves rolling in on what is suppose to be an inland lake, so I raised the map in the air and filled it with the prop-water, I did place more props(reeds, bushes and rocks) to hide that wave effect so it didn't look as bad in the end, but I still wasn't happy with it. If you would like a swimmable(is that even a word?) version, just ask and I will update this post and add another version to download.
This map is designed as a personal room, somewhere to take that special someone. I tried to be as light as I could on detail so it runs well OK notebooks, its 115KB. In the end I am really happy how this turned out, the cabin I made is hybrid of old and new, simplistic design with some modern features. The bed and the lounge are modified so 2 people can use them at the same time.
The map has a nice feel to it under all lighting conditions, I have the dusk setting in place and the screen shots are with that setting, but it looks great in all the presets.

Hey guys, a new map
This is a small cave, its quite cozy. You spawn at the enterence just off the boat, then a small walk through some flame torch lit tunnels till you get to the main chamber where theres a small camp fire with a few stools, and a hard floor tent with some basic furniture set up including a dual bed and lounge. Its only 37KB, so runs really well. I love the atmosphere of this room and I hope you do too.

This is a go-over so to speak of an earlier room I put up here, a small cottage beside a lake. I built that prior to having the landscape tools so I made the hills around using the build blocks which I was never happy with but its all I had then. 
So I redone all the surroundings and they look great now, but then I looked at the cottage I made back then and it didnt fit in my eyes as it was semi modern, so I got rid of the lot and built a new log cabin and built the firplace into the wall instead of having it within the building and it looks very nice. With the new spotlight I was able to put the warm soft glow of the fire exactly where it needed to be within the room and it looks beautiful and cosy. I have it set as night by default but looks great under all the presets available, and I kept it to a good size of 129KB.
After finishing this the other day, it has become my fav room, such a cosy and warm feeling to be in with that someone special.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

This is a small western town I made, I really like the layout in this one, it turned out better than I originally thought it would. Its not super detailed as the size was getting out of hand so a lot of the buildings are quite sparse, but now with 64bit and depending on your computer, you could add a lot more to these maps. As it is these are around 1mb each. Download links are down the bottom of the page.
Unlike any of my previous rooms, I ended up making two versions of this, a night and a day version because the lighting from the lanterns looked really bad in the day settings, the colour of those lights standing out so much it was jarring, so all the lights have been removed except the lamps in the Saloon rooms as they have no windows.

Another room finished off, probably more suited to roleplayers out there, this is a small restaurant.
It was built as an internal room only, with no access to outside, again like the unit I not long finished, there are props outside the building that can been seen veiwing out the windows but It wasnt built as an outside room, so the details on the outside of the building are non existent, but if you wanted to add it to an existing room, it wouldnt take much to have the outside looking ok.
As usual for all my stuff, its notebook friendly at 157KB and has a nice feel under all the lighting presets, though I couldnt quite get the lighting the way I wanted. Play around with it yourself to see what you like.

New room time. Ideal for a couple or small group.
This is small 2 bedroom house I modelled from one I used to live in, it was a what they call a Unit in Australia, which are specifically a group of small houses built for the purpose of renting.
It has no exterior(it doesnt look like a house on the outside, just a box, so this will be no good to add to an existing map or anything like that), though Ive placed some greenery and props outside the windows for effect.
I'm happy with all the lighting presets. The pics were taken with default night a 1
It runs nicely on laptops and is 168KB

Speaking of underwear – female avis really have a very little amount of it (I don't know about male avis, but will not be suprised if it's as bad or even worse for them), and I mean an actual underwear, not the bikini. We don't even have a simple thong now, only a bikini bottom. Someone can say "what's the difference?", but there is a difference! A material. And we actually have only one bra, if we don't consider bikini tops as a bras, which is wrong. So far we have – two panties (0 of which are thong/g-string) and only one bra if we don't count bikinies as an underwear. So I would love to see some new bras and panties, especially thong/g-string ones.
