First you tell me not to act like it's objective fact that most people playing this game are fickle, flaky, and don't care about the feelings of others. Then you say that you agree that people act this way, and that people looking for genuine connections should be wary of this fact. Well, which is it? It is most certainly objective fact that many people play this game for instant gratification, meaning sexual encounters. That is the entire basis of this game, the main event, the central theme and focus. If you ask 3DX players about their experiences with this game, most of them will have stories for you about people who acted friendly to them and then became cold and distant, or who were scared off when they wanted to take things to the next level, or who said they wanted to be exclusive with them and then were caught "cheating," or any number of other scenarios leading to disappointment, betrayal or in extreme cases, heartbreak. It appears that you have one such story. You said that some people playing this game are looking for genuine connections. While that is true, you mentioned "friendship," but friendship is very different than "taking things to the next level," isn't it? It's one thing to make friends and chat and dance, and it's another to try to enter into an exclusive relationship with another player. When it comes to friendship, of course people are open to making friends; but when it comes to taking things to the next level, that's when people back away. Why? Because of what I said initially. This is a game. This isn't real life. Most people don't play this game wanting to find someone to be in an exclusive relationship with. They just want to casually enjoy the game and explore their sexual fantasies freely. I really don't understand why this is hard to grasp. The point of my initial reply was that you should be aware of the reasons why most people play this game. You should keep your guard up, in that sense. Be prepared for people to not want to take things to the next level here. Most of them just want to fuck. And there's nothing wrong with that.

This is one of the most asinine comments I've read in these forums. So nobody should play this game expecting to actually connect with the demographic they like to have sex with? They should join a game EXCLUSIVELY BASED ON SEX - and pay a MONTHLY SUB FOR IT - with the understanding that all female avatars are actually played by men, and if they want to have fun they'd better "put on their big boy pants" and just have virtual sex with a dude, when that would make them extremely uncomfortable? In what universe does that make any fucking sense? Also, isn't it more of a sign of maturity for a person to admit that they're playing a gender different than their real one? Isn't it mature to be honest with other players and just give them a heads up, out of respect to them? You don't think people appreciate that? You think they should just suck it up and expect that they're being deceived at every turn? When 100mg wrote the original post, you don't see that as him taking responsibility for himself? For owning up to the fact that he hid behind a female avatar, saw that it was manipulative, and decided to be open about what was really going on? How is that not mature? You think it's more mature to play as a female character and lie to everybody you meet? If you don't think it takes a "big boy" to be candid about their true identity, then you are either very young and immature, or not a very bright bulb.

Right - maybe some of those people have been betrayed and/or let down by others that they considered friends or lovers, and they like the comfort in AT LEAST knowing that the person they're talking to is actually the gender they say they are. Maybe that's all they ask for. Because they're done being lied to, and if one person doesn't want to be honest about their real gender, then they'll find someone else who will be. I really don't see how this is difficult to understand. If some guys don't want to be honest about it, then that's their prerogative. But it's at least recommended that they do. They'll still be able to live out any fantasies they want, and not only that, but they'll be attracting people that like them for who they are, and don't care that they're actually male playing a female. Thereby making the encounters more intimate, more passionate. Otherwise, a good handful of them will probably have that hanging sense of guilt clinging to them the whole time, knowing that they're deceiving people, knowing that they're producing a situation that their partner definitely wouldn't want, if they were aware of the truth.

This is pretty silly. First of all, nobody is *demanding* anything. Second of all, the only thing OP is suggesting is that males who play female avatars *should* be honest about their true gender, out of courtesy to the other players. He's not saying that if you don't, you're a worthless piece of shit. He's not attacking anyone, he's not saying anybody is better than anyone else. It's a simple request that would make the game more enjoyable and less weird for the straight dudes out there who want to know they're having fun with a straight or bi girl. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. For you to claim that it's because of "lack of self esteem or sexuality issues" shows that you have a fundamental misunderstanding of what OP was trying to say. It's not about guys being paranoid that "someone wants to hurt them." But if that guy plays as a female avatar and actually says that in his profile, "Just a heads up, I'm a dude playing a female avatar, if you don't like that then move along," I will reach out and thank him for being honest about it. You can say whatever you want, but again, nobody is making any demands, and OP wasn't trying to insult anybody. He was trying to be respectful of other people's preferences, which is what we should all be to everyone's preferences. If we're going to respect lesbians, gay men, futas, transgender people, crossdressers and so on, then we can also respect straight guys. It literally costs you zero to give other players a heads up.

Well, first of all, your name is CumProvider. Get out there and provide cum for all the thirsty sluts writhing around in the virtual caves of 3DX. Second, this is not something you should ever take seriously enough to develop an emotional attachment. 3DX is a game. People play it like a game, meaning "instant gratification right now." That's just the way it goes. People will be lazy, flaky, fickle, unpredictable and lame. You need to prepare yourself for that. She didn't want to do anything with you because, like she said, she's taken, and she can't emotionally invest in anyone else. Fucking random dudes in the sex rooms does not constitute emotional attachment. It's pure recreation. She knows that if she sport-fucks you, you'll get even more attached, and end up getting even more hurt when she can't give you what you want. And if you talked a lot and she really feels for you, then she was doing it to protect you, by not fucking you. She doesn't want to lead you on or fuck with your emotions. There are so many cool girls playing this game. You don't need to try to find "the one" in 3DX and go steady with them. Just keep it casual, take it easy, enjoy yourself and have a good time. If you feel like you can't do that, then this isn't the game for you.

I agree with Lumi - I like my women thick and curvy. Plus, not everyone looks like Barbie and Ken. I think the main thing I really want to see are smaller animations that can be done while you're already in an animation: so for example, if you're having sex doggystyle, make buttons or menu options for smacking/grabbing your partner's ass, pulling their hair, leaning down over them rather than being on your knees straight up behind them, to rub their clit or jerk them off or whatever. Then other things like kissing and biting the neck, etc. which could be done from any animation. So rather than just being a single animated loop, each pose would essentially become like the Slowdance option, where once the players are in the Slowdance mode there are smaller sub-animations that you can choose in order to make the interaction more immersive. I think this would really help add more realism to the virtual encounters. I'd also like to see some more in-depth sliders for facial features. Having so few options as it stands means that all the avatars look pretty much the same, which is a little disappointing. I've referenced this in several of my suggestion comments before, but you should really take a close look at the Create-A-Sim platform in The Sims 4 for an excellent example of an avatar configuration system done right. Changing the shapes of the eyes, the mouth, nose, jaw and ears, for example. It doesn't have to be as hands-on as the Create-A-Sim platform is, but some basic sliders should be pretty easy to implement, and it would allow for much more diversity in our appearances, resulting in more effective expressions of individuality. It would be nice to have some more emotes, as well. Right now we have waving and clapping, as well as the hug and kiss, but it would be cool to have a laughing emote, basic facial expressions like smiling, frowning, scowling, etc., as well as different kinds of standing and sitting poses. Those are the main things that have been on my mind lately.

Right, because THAT was the takeaway from everything that I said: that only one guy is having his way with all the girls in the game. The point of my post wasn't that you don't need to give girls gifts in order to bang them - it's that I bang all the girls myself, personally, and nobody else does. Don't be daft. I don't really get the gift thing, to be honest. Who cares how many gifts you have? Why do you care about status in a game like this? Are people really more likely to fuck you if you have more gifts, or are they more likely to fuck you if you have a nice conversation with them and really get them in the mood? I only have like 6 or 7 gifts but I've pleasured a lot of women in 3DX, some of them way more than once. So I don't think it's indicative of status quite like it's been described here. If one chooses to do some hookin' in the game, that's their prerogative. But I never, ever interact with women who tout themselves as prostitutes. I just think it's ridiculous to give someone a gift just to have your way with them, when you could spend 10 minutes talking to any female and they'll likely be up for whatever. All you have to do is - GASP - treat them like human beings, make them see that you're not a dumbass or a creep, make them giggle and feel comfortable with you. It's really not that hard. And if your laziness is that strong that you'd rather gift some girl to get her to spread her legs for you, then...be my guest, I guess. The only aspect of this that I do understand is that it provides a thrill for the ladies that do it. Which is fine. But guys, it's remarkable how, if you just TALK to girls a bit more, you could have your way with many of them. They are in this game for a reason, after all!

I think that, besides the obvious clothing and home items, I'd really like to see this game expanded into an actual world, rather than just a group of separate rooms. I've mentioned this in other posts. I want them to make a bigger map, a city or a town, maybe just a few streets/blocks, but something that places all of these little locations into one bigger whole. So you can walk from the street down to the beach; catch a ferry to the yacht, or simply swim out to it; you can go get a drink at the Sin Club, then cross the street and hit up the Fresco for a bit. Making something that ties all the rooms together will make the game world so much more enjoyable for everyone. And of course, I also would really like to see more pool animations, as well as the inclusion of a bathroom in apartments so you can shower with your partner(s) and get busy in the shower with them. Also, massage chairs and massage animations. Also also, mini-animations you can hotkey, like holding someone's hand, smacking their butt, rubbing their back, etc.

The game isn't dying; what happens is that the devs don't do enough to retain the users that they gain. So you get a lot of people that play for a little while and then disappear forever. You get a lot of new users all the time. But the amount of longtime users sticking around, that number is small, and I think it is slowly dwindling. The reason for this is simple: there's just not enough content to keep it interesting in the long term. People see that there's a small amount of options for clothes and items for player homes, and they get bored, and they leave. Can you blame them? How can a game like this hope to thrive, in an industry full of companies constantly working to generate new content for their users? If 3DX doesn't step up to the plate, then another company (or many more companies) will strongarm them out of business. Good graphics are definitely important - and as of now, 3DX is the reigning champ - but it just won't be enough to keep people interested in the long run, if they continue to take as long as they do to generate new content.

The camera function needs to be fixed. Whenever you turn on the little camera menu and you turn off the interface, as soon as you click "Take Photo," the little camera menu disappears, and you have to hit Shift+Z to bring the interface back. Whereas in 1.0, the camera menu stays visible unless you manually turn it off. So far that's the only glaring mistake I've seen. I think 2.0 looks great, although it's now been several months since the initial rollout and there still hasn't been any new content added to the game. I cannot stress this enough: they NEED to set up something that allows users to create their own content to share with the community. Like, Skyrim had the Creation Kit, and The Sims has user-made software for creating your own items and clothing. That's what this game needs more than anything else; that way the devs can just focus on fixing graphics, GUI, animation and scripting, and we can all start to make our own clothes, furniture, etc. Provide users with the framework to generate their own clothes and designs, and the amount of content will skyrocket. Seriously, if they don't do something like this soon, I'm gonna learn Unity myself and start to add my own stuff. I'm astounded at how long it takes them to make new stuff.

I completely agree, that's why I was pissed when I found out it was just a joke - not because I needed a fighting game and was deprived of one (I have four gaming systems so it really doesn't matter), but because a mini-game like that would've made traffic and interactivity between players SKYROCKET since everybody would be duking it out for fun. Then again, if that fighting game was given the same type of pathetic dynamics the volleyball "game" has, there would be no point to bringing it to the game.

I'm just astounded that the developers haven't even bothered to respond to any of the complaints and criticism they've received for their product. They probably haven't even come here to the forums to READ any of our thoughts. The money just keeps rollin' in, so who gives a fuck? Unfortunately, it appears that they very much do not. I still play because it's fun to meet new people on there, but I completely understand the anger and frustration about the lack of content, updates and consistent communication from the developers.
