They pay money to play a sex game, or a video game in general, so let's get that bit of business out of the way first. You do know this is just a video game, right?
 
If you choose to be offended then that's your right, but just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right. Again, I plainly put out there what you should do in order to avoid the shit on World Chat. Just, turn off your notifications and you're set. World Chat is no longer your priority, your in game cause to live, or your reason to log in to the game in the first place.
 
Little factoid, I was on World Chat last night for an hour and guess what, aside from the room ads, everyone was behaving. So maybe it is all in your head, rock star. Maybe all these illusions about people getting murdered in 3DXChat only exist in your head.."Quotation marks".
 
 
 
If your social aspect and game experience are just centralized on World Chat, maybe you should rethink your priorities when your playing this sex game, don't you think?
 
Again, turn off notifications if you don't want to be bothered by World Chat talk. You do realize that there are other ways of communication within the game, that don't involve World Chat in its entirety, right?
 
Now you're getting into this whole fantasy world about people being abused, women not leaving their homes in fear of being attacked, and holding the attackers accountable like if this VIDEO GAME was real life. And of course, none of this would be complete without throwing in a passive aggressive accusation right at the end.

Well, if you are one of those people who is constantly trolled by others and will now need to block in multiples of three, then you have my sincere condolences. But I stand by my very logical argument that losing the account-wide ignore function will not have much of an impact on the vast majority of players, which to me is a clear indication that both the problem of players who harass and troll constantly as well as the value of the account-wide ignore function are exaggerated.

According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Straw_man, a straw man is a common form of argument and is an informal fallacy based on giving the impression of refuting an opponent's argument, while actually refuting an argument that was not presented by that opponent. I did not refute anything that was not already present in JessicaX's post. 
 
Moreover, simply because you do not agree with me does not mean that my argument is illogical.

We plan to launch a test server and release a test client that will work regardless of the current client of the game. On the test server, you can create completely new characters, get some gold for testing purposes.
Now we have a list of bugs that need to be fixed before launching. Stay tuned!

Well, I think you are exaggerating the value of the ignore function here. In my opinion, it's just not that big a loss.
 
First of all, as others have also pointed out, those who harass and troll constantly generally do so from multiple accounts, which circumvents the ignore feature. Moreover, most of my friends almost never have to ignore anyone permanently because of constant harassment. I have a dozen people on my iggy list at the moment, but they are all there temporarily, because either I don't want to see the stupid things they say in World and Local Chat or because they repeatedly sent me cold invites. And in my experience, this is probably true for a lot of if not most others, as well.
I realize that there are some players who have been seriously harassed by alts and who think that alts are a big problem. But frankly I think that the scale of this problem has been exaggerated. So, yeah, now you have to iggy three avatars instead of just one. Yes, that is an inconvenience, but also bear in mind there are a lot of us who never really have to iggy anyone permanently, so it is six of one and half a dozen of the other.

Yes. A thousand times, yes. Finally, we have a real reason to come back and play this game. This is great news for a game I so lovingly picked up back in 2015; brought back to some of its original roots instead of catering to the paranoia factor some people have brought into this game on their own, and made the rest of us live under it like some depressing, having to worry about walking on egg shells regime.
 
Some people are losing their fucking minds over this, and it's exposing those who have something to hide, who probably already have their fair share of alternate characters—who they themselves, run amok. The gun is now pointed in the other direction. How does it feel looking down the barrel of your own gun, hmm?
 
You want to ignore someone? Now you have to work for it. Now, it keeps YOU in check rather than the person "offending" you. You don't want to incur the wrath of "trolls" in the game? Mind your business and keep your mouth shut.
 
You don't want to get "stalked"? Don't be a prick or a bitch. Simple as that.

Apparently, none of you know how to turn off notifications in your chat window. It's easy.
 
You go to the gear in the upper right hand corner, you select the notifications window and uncheck it, do the same for sound notifications and you're done. You no longer have to worry about the garbage being spat out in World Chat...unless, you're driven to that vomit like a moth to the flame.

Account-wide ban is/was handy and it's a shame that it's going away - though I've got zero people in my ignore list so doesn't really mean much to me either way - and the only thing that seems to be coming out of it is that people will have their privacy restored if they play multiple alts on the same account by limiting the information available on 3DXPandora. Good for those people, if that's how they choose to play the game, and good for those that like to stir up trouble. Really though, those that really want to play shitty games would be making alt accounts anyways, so the loss probably won't be as big as some are making it out to be.
 
Best way of dealing with this? Understand people are going to do this shit. Most characters are alts in one fashion or another. Be cautious and develop a vetting process - similar to how we use a Discord server and speak to all those we consider friends over voice to be sure. Typically, those that pass on such things or go on about "OMG NO RL" have something to hide, so they're looked at with a suspicious eye.
Learn to work your bullshit out. You can't run around blocking people in real life. Either man up and understand nothing anyone has to say to or about you really means anything unless you give it meaning. Work through issues with people you want to stay connected with. Tell those you don't to fuck off and move on. Don't get involved or emotionally invested in people you've actually got no real idea about.

Gizmo asked if we want a pose editor yes ... but did he ever say it will be part of the next update?
 
The thing no one without the technical background understands is, building a new server software is something that is not done in some days or weeks. And when its ready to launch no one will see any difference after the patch has rolled out. 
 
If it is improving performance and security you as a user won't see the difference at first. 
 
On the other hand what is done on the client ... new poses, world editor and what else is going on like the ignore needs to be tested against the new server. And when some feature is not ready the patch will be delayed or the feature wont be part of the patch. That is for sure the reason why no date or changelog was given until now. 
 
Rooms wont be serverside no one said that. In a game with some fixed areas or locations you can host them on a server. But as soon as everyone can open a room it would kill the server because each room would need resources. And at the end it won't fix any problem like stealing rooms because the client will still need the room data to show it to you.
 
So we all should calm down and see what the patch will have included and when its patch day and everyone has it you can give feedback. At the moment everyone just throws around with theories.

The thing is.... the baddies come back on diff accounts anyway. So blocking one account doesn’t give you a for sure thing...

There needs to be a proper ignore function on these forums. If i ignore someone, i should not see any of their posts and they should not see any of mine. This would make the forums much more civil.
