I just read your story here, and I hate to bring it up weeks after you've posted it, but let me you: this happens a lot more than most people think. I've been here nearly 4 years now and I've heard countless stories from friends in similar scenarios. It sucks and it's fucked up, but hey, plenty more people to meet and so on. This actually reminds me of an episode I've had with this woman. We met, she was new, had some guy already, then he joins and comes up to us. After a short while, they would either leave to their private room or make up some excuse. I was like, "Okay, we'll talk some other time. Have fun". This happened a couple more times or so and I told her to PM me whenever she had some free time, thinking that maybe she was doing it on purpose (to this day I could never confirm that). But, anyway, no big deal. They wanted to be together, so I understand. No excuses needed. After a few days, she PMed me saying she was free and that we could hang out or whatever. I was with a friend already, so, naturally, I told her I was busy at the moment. She seemed all right with it and said we could meet up some other day. "Cool, we'll do that!", I replied. Days later, she PMed me and yep, you can already guess, I was with a friend. This woman went nuts and started bombarding me with PMs (all Caps, by the way), saying I was doing this out of revenge and to make her jealous. I told her that wasn't the case, and it just so happened I was with someone (which was true) whenever she decided to have some free time for me and that I couldn't guess when that would be. The end result: she blocked me because she was pissed at me for not giving her some of my time when her partner wasn't around for her. I just thought she had a lot of nerve for being mad at me when I didn't say a word when she's done the very same thing in order to be with this guy. To make things even worse, I was later told that I wasn't the only person she's done this to. 2020 was definitely the highlight of my journey in 3DX perhaps due to the lockdown, but in that time period I've met quite a lot of... interesting characters, to say the least. I could tell you many, many stories, but that would take all day, and I'm quite certain that I would only be scraping the surface.3 points -
I'm really overwhelmed by all the great feedback here, and it's always nice to get one or two new ideas this way. Yes, the Room should feel alive. The project has grown more and more over time, smaller gifts and ideas from good friends have been incorporated as well as special places where very nice memories already hang. I hope to keep this lively development, and I always look forward to welcoming good friends and nice visitors. A very dear thank you to all of you2 points

Yep, I can totally relate. Last time that happened, I ended up talking about DCS World and flight simulators with this girl (bear in mind that you won't find many female players who enjoy flight sims). That certainly was an interesting way of breaking the ice.2 points -
Lets regale y'all with a tale of why I find 3DX to be so goddamn engaging and FUN to walk around in. Lately I've started to hang out at a place called the Masturbation Club, not quite for the activity the name suggests, but mostly because it tickling my voyeur and exhibitionist kink. Had some lewd fun in there at times, but yesterday was special. Scene is this, the Club has a rule about having to be naked (No wonder I like it eh?) So I'm lounging about on a couch there, watching folks have their fun, idly scanning profiles when a dude pokes me about something in mine. I check his profile and spot an interesting pic that seems kind of out of place in 3DX, namely a formation of Army helicopters in a field. I comment on it and the conversation flows from there. Long story short, at the end of it when the guy had to leave I realized I had just spent the better part of 2 hours, laying naked across a equally naked dude, discussing US Army Aviation... You just can't make that up if you tried. Situations like these, two people meeting in such a lewd setting and then ending up talking about mundane things. That, is what gets me every time. That, is what I love about 3DX. Anyway, just a little anecdote to share with y'all. Take care and stay awesome!2 points

I think people do occasionally do these things in real life, but out here they take months or years to develop. 3DX is Real Life on fast forward in some ways.1 point

The 'Free Speech' argument gets brought up a lot. Funny thing is, most of the time when someone crows about Free Speech. They don't actually want free speech. They just want to be able to say whatever they want, Free from Consequence. As for looking away, that is true. But the way the game is set up, you literally can't. World Chat is the default Chat Pane when opening the game. If we can't have Moderation, then at the very least we should have the option to definitively Opt Out. Give us a toggle; 'Do not Display World Chat at game start.' That would solve a LOT of issues right there.1 point

World chat is like driving by a gruesome car accident. You know not to look, but you can't just close your eyes. I am a big believer in free speech. You write what you want, but I don't have to read it. Knowing up front that someone is toxic makes it easy to click ignore.1 point

lets say you already have a wall build and u want to make a gate( i have noticed many rooms arent perfectly connected cause ppl drop props randomly n then they try fine tune them to fit perfect but most cases they dont ^^ ) here is a quick tip/trick to make it perfect here is our pink wall n we try connect perfectly that white gate(prop) that white prop is 2 propsanyway not important . so how we will conect it perfectly ... 1st we choose the white prop that u will see in the pic bellow then we select the hand tool n place the prop in the wall... we rotate the prop at 90 degrees angle using Pivot then we movethe prop at the 0.25 snap step that we have selected and we have a perfect match now i wanna mention something important when u start build its imperative to use snap step from the start of the build so all ur walls be same so they can be matched later perfectly but if u start drop props n random values u will come to loose it n nothing will fit n connect nice . anyway i copied the prop rotated and make this gate and continued my wall muacks1 point

Lets say u want to make a cool beach n a terain with a nice angle leading to water we set values 0.25 for snap step n select the left magnet that is for snap step then 1st we select a square n then the triangle exactly inside the square .(u can achieve that by selecting the props u want without move ur camera so both props drop in same spot ) since both props are in the same spot u move by 0.25 the latest prop u placed and they conect perfectly (this save u lots of time of fine tune props to be in same place ) u turn both props into sand and group them then having picked both u start enlarge them with the tool i have selected on the pic that will follow keep enlarge from both sides and in a matters of seconds u will have this perfect beach terain muacks1 point
